Nebula really has one of the more satisfying character arcs in the MCU, at least for me personally. You really get to see in the opening scenes of this movie that... it isn't that she wants to be unpleasant, it is simply... all she has ever really known in her life.
Hits like a ton of bricks every time. When Thor says, "ask those Asgardians down there how much my help is worth." What a fall, from Thor even as a mortal cast to earth without power the confidence he had in himself. Conversely the badass line from Barton. "They got Thanos, you get me." Chilling
Now you understand why you couldn't go from Infinity War to Endgame. You wouldn't know who Captain Marvel was, and you wouldn't have understood what happened with Antman.
And you can’t watch those movies before Infinity war either because they contain spoilers for infinity war. Though I suppose you could just not watch the post credit scenes and you’ll be fine.
So you guys almost reached the end of The Infinity Saga and phase 3 with Spider-Man Far From Home. Now you're entering phase 4 a.k.a. The Multiverse Saga. It's important to note that while phases 1-3 only had movies, phase 4 and onwards have TV series and TV specials as well, which are just as important as the movies themselves, they are very much interconnected. I hope you take this into consideration because y'all will miss out on important content. And also more Marvel is great IMO. And side note, these shows are limited series, so don't worry about them being long, they're 6-9 episodes each. I would recommend posting the TV shows with like 2-3 episodes per video if y'all go through them a bit quicker, and also most are just 1 season with some having 2 or possibly more in the future. Anyways, here's the phase 4 release order: 1. WandaVision (9 episodes), 2. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (6 episodes), 3. Loki season 1 (6 episodes), 4. Black Widow (movie), 5. What If...? (9 episodes), 6. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (movie), 7. Eternals (movie), 8. Hawkeye (6 episodes), 9. Spider-Man: No Way Home (movie), 10. Moon Knight (6 episodes), 11. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (movie), 12. Ms. Marvel (6 episodes), 13. Thor: Love and Thunder (movie), 14. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (9 episodes), 15. Werewolf by Night (TV special), 16. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (movie), 17. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (TV Special)... These are the phase 4 projects...in real time we're in the middle of phase 5 but when the time comes I will write down the list for phase 5 as well :)
Would you also recommend they take a small detour before one of these projects to watch X-Men (2000)? Only for the time being and then they can choose to watch the rest of the X-Men movies if they want.
Yes, I would say they really should take a few weeks to watch some other Marvel films, the X-Men. At least up to X-Men: Apocalypse, before they start into the Disney+ series.
Barton lost his whole family, he decided that all the scum on earth who survived didnt deserve to live when his family didnt and just started murdering them across the globe as Ronin
Love the 5 year jump. People trying to move on. That was one of the directors in the Cap therapy session. Later his kids were the ones asking for Hulk's autograph.
This was released in 2019... imagine what happened after that Snap in Infinity War? Looks paralled with worldwide lockdown due to COVID. So COVID period was the Blip period.
This movie does a lot of Fan Service and plays on your nostalgia for anyone who spend the last 11 years and watched all the 22 interconnecting movies. There’s a lot of callbacks references and payoffs to past movies which I very much enjoyed.
The I love you 3000 has multiple meanings but 1 is that it's almost 3000 minutes from Ironman 1 to end of spiderman far from home after endgame which ends the infinity saga

I would have loved to see a mini series of her origin story.

One thing I hated with the avengers movies after age of ultron is how the directors treated Thor and hulk
I don’t know if you noticed but Clint was wearing an ankle monitor in the opening scene. Like Ant-Man he was also under house arrest.

16:55 Morgan Stark's line "I Love you 3000" was ad-libbed when she said it. RDJ's reaction to it is genuine.

Oh nice, you guys are here now. This is peak Marvel.
I LOVE IN THE SHE HULK SERIES YOU GET A BIT MORE BACKGROUND ON WHAT HULK AND STARK WERE DOING IN THAT 5 YEAR PERIOD.
The I love you 3000 has multiple meanings but 1 is that it's almost 3000 minutes from Ironman 1 to end of spiderman far from home after endgame which ends the infinity saga
Happy 5Th Anniversary Of Avengers: Endgame
