It's a TRILOGY.!! If you think this was good...the other two are even BETTER..!!! You're truly in for a major treat..!! And then....there's the "Hobbit Trilogy"..!?! But definitely see this one first.... The "LOTR" is a Masterpiece.!! It would be hard to follow it up but "The Hobbit" was a VERY decent effort and it gives you the back story....one that I'm sure you'll enjoy because it was "the children's story" that J.R.R.Tolkien wrote for his kids that became so popular....everyone wanted to know..."what happens next...to the Hobbit & Middle Earth.???" And THAT became the three book "Trilogy" of the LOTR..!! Now.... you have the TV/cable show..."The Rings of Power" based on the book "The Silmarilion" which explains where the Elves & Wizards came from...???!!! But the LOTR & The Hobbit are well worth your time watching....(The Hobbit does tell the story of "The Lonely Mountain & the Dragon" that you see on the Maps of Middle Earth at the beginning of "The Fellowship of the Ring").... Read the books during the Holidays & I've seen the Movies MANY times...& now with you guys..!!! Great Reaction BTW.!! ENJOY..!!!

IF I may make a request ... for you to watch the First MCU series..."Agent Carter" takes place in the 40s after Cap's plane goes down.. about Agent Carter and the founding of Shield".... it's so fun and Garvis is in there. Ok but why didn't this pop up in my recommended until TODAY? I just watched the first two episodes of Agatha All Along so I just *need* more magic right now. The last 3 episodes of Wandavision were bangers.

80s & 90s Movies Are The Best 💯, Great Reactions Everyone

One of the things I love most about watching your Marvel reactions is how enthusiastic you both are! Some reactors aren't into every film or streaming series in the MCU and often their reaction shows how disappointed they are in certain entries. But the two of you are always so bright and cheerful and excited to experience the next chapter in the ongoing saga, and it's something I look forward to each week.

This series turned out very different than originally intended. The original plotline involved the world experiencing a pandemic (which may or may not have been man-made and intentional) and the vaccine being kept from the poor population, the ones that were still around during the Blip and filled in for jobs in countries where the people needed to keep society running all disappeared for five years. The goal of the Flag Smashers was for the people who moved to new countries not to have to return to their poor country of origin when they would again become destitute, but to retain the positions and upward mobility the Blip had afforded them while also stealing supplies of the vaccine and distributing it to those who needed it but it was being kept from. And then, in the months prior to the series being release, COVID-19 happened, and the studio execs got nervous about putting out a TV series about a global pandemic designed to kill off the poorer population and pretty seriously chopped up the series - almost completely eliminating the pandemic plotline, changing the deaths of certain characters to other reasons like tuberculosis, and make the Global Repatriation Council as prominently the villain as the Flag Smashers. Personally, I wish the studio execs had some guts and kept the original plotline. While I enjoyed Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I think it could have been better had the show remained true to it's original conception.

My exact feelings when they introduced the new ”Captain America”. Urgh!! Then he seemed decent and it wasn’t his fault the government wanted a new poster boy. So ok, trying to keep an open mind… But nah not working! I really liked this series. Mainly because I love Sam and Bucky. Before it aired I was really interested how Bucky was doing and while they did put him in (mandatory) therapy I personally had wanted more of that side, but I guess that would have been too drawn out with the overall story and we needed to move past that but I am happy they at least adressed it. I think Sam and Bucky make a perfect duo! And now they will see Zemo… 😮

Great reaction! The Flag Smashers organized in the wake of the ending of The Snap when everyone came back. During the Snap, when half of life disappeared from Earth, the remaining population spread out and moved into essential jobs, trying to hold everything together. When the snap ended and everyone came back, everyone that had been snapped wanted their old lives and home and jobs back. This pushed all these people out as displaced persons, basically taking everything away from them theyed built in the past 5 years. The world governments have no intention of treating them with any dignity or human rights. Hence the creation of the Flag Smashers, "One world, one people!" A lot of what they're doing is stealng food, medical supplies, and other resources for the displaced persons, many of whom are in enforced ghettos and camps. It is eventually of course not going to go well. You will note that the new Captain America is white, blonde haired, and blue eyed. And the bank turning down Sam's loan application, which not only addresses the issues that snapped people are facing, but also the difficulties people of color have getting loans. Sam was right, they qualified for that loan. They weren't ever going to get it. And then the way the police came down on Sam until they recognized him, even with Bucky saying there is no problem, and then politely picking up Bucky with a measure of respect. Or the difference between Steve's treatment and Isaiah's in the '40s - one is made a hero, and one is used as an experiment. This digs deep into a lot of things. I can'tt wait to see the rest of your reactions to this! You guys are always so good!

Both of those therapy exercises the therapist has Steve and Bucky do are actual therapeutic techeniques, I studied them in Grad School! 😂

If you pay attention to the "dinner" scene, you'll think that she looked at him, but actually she looked at some girls laughing behind him, she never looked at him.

WandaVision is my favourite MCU product ever. I never get tired of watching it, or people watching it!

Never listen to these dorks recommending the extended edition until you watch the theatrical cut first. Period.

There's one very important scene that I think you guys overlooked. When Bucky and Sam are with the counselor, and Bucky finally states why he's mad at Sam he says, "Maybe he was wrong about you, and if he was wrong about you, maybe he was wrong about me!" this is really important for a future part of the show! Just wanted to make sure you caught it, it's one of my favorite parts.

I absolutely love that everyone has the same reaction to Walker when he's introduced as the new Cap. Literally, no one accepts it and everyone (including me when I first watched it) gets angry lol. Because really, the messed up part about it is...if all of this was real, you know the American government would do the same thing.

Back when it came out, all of my friends who were watching the MCU along with me had the knee-jerk reaction of John Walker being a Greater Value Steve Rogers. I mean, heck... he looks like the old man from Up in that helmet when he's introduced. John is not America's ass the way Steve was! I really do love this show, though, and I'm very excited for you guys to get to it now! Mind you, not as excited as I am for what is next... but what can I say? I'm a bit of a trickster, myself...
