Would it be okay to use regular ground oatmeal
Opting for regular ground oatmeal instead of colloidal oatmeal might influence the texture and effectiveness of the deodorant. The natural composition of regular oatmeal could result in a rougher texture, potentially altering the smooth feel of the deodorant.

Is it a problem to use yellow beeswax ?
Can you use biological oatmeal en put it in the mixer to make it a powder ?
It needs the beeswax to harden the stick, the oatmeal is not enough. Beeswax in deodorant sticks offers natural antibacterial properties, while allowing for breathability. It creates a protective barrier, preventing odour-causing bacteria growth. Safe and gentle on the skin, beeswax ensures effective odour control without clogging pores, providing a comfortable and reliable solution.
Didn't know that the fine powder of oatmeal is gentler than arrowroot or cornstarch. Thanks for the tip. What about the benefit itself of using oatmeal as opposed to arrowroot? Thanks!
Colloidal oatmeal is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it soothes irritated skin, making it an ideal ingredient for homemade deodorant like my one. It provides a gentle barrier against moisture and odour while nourishing sensitive skin. Arrowroot, though effective in absorbing moisture, lacks the skin-soothing benefits of colloidal oatmeal, making it a less comprehensive choice for those with sensitive skin or prone to irritation.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 WOW! Thank you so much! It's great knowing this!
@@karinarodriguez2055 You are welcome
Do you put something like oil inside the tube to let it slide easily?
No the deodorant is made of oils & butter so it slides up when pushed from the bottom of the tube
@@beautybooster_diy4848 I’m trying to do it with candle. But it’s not sliding. :(
@@eliezerborges They are not made for candles, they are made for solid balms, deodorants, sunscreen bars etc things with butters and oils
