I've recently found used Harmonic Booster in mint condition for a fair price and wanted to partly satisfy my curiosity about DG products, so it seemed like a fair starter. I've tried putting it as the first unit in the signal chain, and after the two stacked overdrives (Battalion+MXR M80). Putting it AFTER the overdrive suits my sound taste much, much better - Its 'character' knob works great (and noticeably better) when the unit is put after the already overdriven signal - it seems to me that it blends in/out that 'Darkglass sound engine' which adds a lot of brightness/crispness and attack to the sound, even when all the EQ knobs on it are set completely flat because its EQ works at the same boost/cut levels, no matter at which position the 'character' is set. I think I will sell my B7k for that thing too, I just like the B7k with 0 drive that add some punch and clarity, so the HB does that toO ?? Nice
