Both are great. I ended up with the Cali76 mainly because i prefer to adjust things on the pedal and didn’t feel like hooking it up to my laptop all the time
@@IvanBassist Thanks for the demo a lot. As for Cali76 comparison - was it only interface thing that made you prefer Cali76 or was it also more pleasant tonally? I've read that HL compression is "more obvious", less subtle and I'm curious on your opinion on that.
@@IvanBassist I saw the cali 76 was gonna look at review of that as well im new to bass and figure I ned comp an eq pedal probably to start. I appreciate ypur fast response. Ill check out cali 76. So many options lol too many. You rock btw
Got the DGHL today in mail. I went with that over the cali76. Due to the amount of flexibikity. I am new to bass so any compressor would have been great really. I haven't been home to open yet. Look forward. I might get cali76 as well because I play guitar as well and eventually would like something for guitar
Thank you! I like using FET 4:1 ratio and i'm actually very surprised at how much I like the SYM mode. I like it even better than my actual former Super Symmetry. Usually also use it at the 1st ratio setting :)
I was playing around with the Darkglass Suite settings today. Setting the HPF for the FET mode at around 75 hz definitely brought some low end thunder. Have you experimented with that?@@ALFREDOCISNEROSBASS
Really good in depth demo. Thank you sir, and great playing as always!
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it!
The way you play makes any equipment sound good!
jon wil Thanks for the kind words, Jon!
Great demo, bro!!
Erik Arkö thank you!!
I’m trying to desire between this and the origin Cali 76. Do you have a preference or are there any major differences you would highlight?

Is it worth the price tag
It’s definitely a great comp! Very flexible with the 3 types of compression. Since about two months I’ve switched to the cali76, though.

Nice demo!
Im not shure which is my favorite Mode........ But whats your favorite Mode and ratio?

@@IvanBassist apparently we have similar settings in this compressor, I cant decide between FET 4: 1 or SYM in the second ratio
