Hotel Hell follows Gordon Ramsay as he travels across America attempting to fix horrid hotels, awful inns and bed & breakfasts where you'd rather not sleep and definitely won't want to eat breakfast.
Gordon Ramsay visits The Keating, a “luxury” boutique hotel in San Diego, CA. The Keating’s supercar-obsessed owner, Eddie Kaen, has blown millions designing the hotel to look like an Italian sports car, but neglected to spend money on things the guests really need.
The rooms are empty, the hotel’s restaurant is failing and the staff have reached their limit, leading to a truly shocking crisis that no one saw coming.
With reputations on the line, one thing is certain: if they can’t meet Gordon’s high standards, they will never check out of Hotel Hell.

Gordan Ramsay is a foul mouth , blatantly direct, abrupt, passionate, wonderful, loving person.
My dad, a successful executive chef of 30+ years, experienced exactly what Brian did when the hotel he worked at hired a shit restaurant "manager" (see: nepotism baby) that was overly controlling. He took over buying, menus, staffing, everything even though he knew nothing (he was a failed real estate agent) and it killed my dad and it broke our hearts to see him like that. Luckily, he found another place where he thrived even though it wasn't fine dining. He could create again! Let chefs create! It's what they were trained to do!
the owner is extremely selfish, he can't even offer ironed sheets and food in plates but charges 800 a night💀
Greedy
It's be interesting to know if this business still exists and still makes profit, 800 is fucking ridiculous
He is always polite to service workers because he knows how hard the job is and that it's not their food
Also because he was in their position when he was young. He was a dish washer, a busboy, a waiter, & as he finally had enough money, he went to France to learn to be a cook & got his butt kicked by his bosses.
@@P.Whitestrake 😶👌👌❤️

For what it's worth, this manager actually listened to Gordon and allowed the changes unlike so many owners on his show
really? how's the chef brian now?
what i love about this show is how ramsey treats the business owners like owners would treat their employees.
also, how he treat employees with dignity and empathy over how on the line their jobs are because of their bad employers.
9:03 "I designed the keeting to be the perfect hotel for me, not for him"
And that already tells me what's wrong. You design a perfect hotel for the people staying in it, not for you. I'm not even a hotel owner nor do I own a business, but even I understand simple things like that because that's common sense.
Yep, don’t have to be a pilot to see that a helicopter in a tree is not good.
When i heard that part i thought exactly the same, you design a hotel for your guests, not for you, if you want to design a place for you then do it to your house, not a hotel
@@AvianZone but it'd be a bomb of a tree house you gotta admit that.
@@SpecterNeverSpectator I would do anything for such a cool treehouse.
Yep, if he wanted a hotel for himself, then why let guests come in? He can just stay at the hotel and be the guest while being the owner, if he has the funds to.
Why do the owners call Gordon to their hotel/restaurants to fix it if they think nothing is wrong with it in the 1st place. 😖
Because they usually blame the staff or the location, but never themselves. It's a common theme of this show, actually.
They best question ever

I was absolutely appalled how many times Gordon had to ask for gooddamn chair and water for a person passing out!!
And after that when the chef was UNDER THE DAMN TABLE passed out he had to ask multiple times for someone of those many staff members to call an ambulance!!
I'm surprised Gordon did not shout at them I would have thrown something at those idiots if I had to ask twise to help out a person whos blacked out.
Don't be surprised if what you saw didn't actually transpire that way. Things can be cut together to give a specific story.
@@shmuelaryehkoltov241 I second that. They're known to do that very often. Sometimes it's so blatant you can actually hear them splice together a sentence out off 3 different conversations.
And he hit his head, it was so lucky he didn't got a concussion
it was actually cuted he only said twice for chair, water and 911 the time was not cuted though
Not what happened they just showed it from different perspectives
As someone who loves to cook, seeing Chef Brian smile is just heart warming.
Gordon is known for tearing people to shreds and being this angry chef but inside he's such a great person, and pure wholesome moments like these when he literally reaches into peoples souls like with Brian and drags them from the abyss they've found themselves in are just touching.
I know Brian left the Keating but I can't find anything beyond 2018, can someone confirm that he's doing well?
I also want to know how he is doing, I can't find any information anywhere (except a recent comment left on his Instagram claiming that he died back in 2020)
Can we just appreciate how calm Gordon was when the Chef collapsed.
Yes he handled the situation perfectly. He probably knows something about fainting because of dehydration, that's not so uncommon in kitchens
Maybe because it was staged...
@@mariad.s.6760 staged or not, it's still a good way to show how you deal with someone randomly collapsing/fainting. it's an educational example, really. it helps a lot.

Strange, in a lot of these episodes (as in the Tabatha takes over) there's a micromanaging owner without previous experience from any similar business, yet still they are unable to trust the employees they have hired who mostly are educated and experienced in the field.
