Gordon visits Harper’s Ferry in West Virginia, to try to save a historic hotel that’s desperately in need of help.
Karan Townsend, the owner, runs the hotel like a thrift store and hoards junk everywhere. Under Karan’s management the business and the hotel have started to fall apart.
Gordon gets the shock of his life as he witnesses the worst dinner service he has ever had the misfortune to see. This disaster of a hotel could be too much for even Gordon Ramsay to save….

I get that this place needs to be fixed but what I don’t understand is how these people just stand there as a stranger comes and insults their business, tell their customers what they serve in the kitchen and lose them their business. I am not familiar with the show but I don’t think I get it. It seems staged and the characters like the owner and the friend seem unreal.

Always smiling is the right thing to do but the state of the hotel just doesn't matched and make her smile looks creepy. If you were her what are you gonna do, make yourself looks grumpy to match the already crappy service quality of the hotel? I was a corporate slave before, I know that not smiling is likely to ward off customers regardless of the quality you offers.

The whole place seems like a jesushole xd Like, ok the burgers are cooked horrible wrong, and the place is dirty and the people that manages it seems deranged, and also looks like those kind that does not wash their hands after PP, or even ever change clothes; but what no one seems to point out is the fact that every so often in this show we also see vegetables that looks like it has been sliced by 4 year olds. Gordon actually rarly comments on that matter. If you can't chop onion, tomatos and lettuce, then it really does not surprise me you can't cook a simple burger. If my burger came served with a tomato slice the size of a bun, I would seriosuly throw it back into the chefs face. PS a good kitchen doesn't ever use microwaves.
