Never have I seen Gordon being uncomfortable in the presence of a woman except this one episode. Gordon maintained his distance with Lisa.
She was from the very beginning flirting with him, she even gave him a cleavage when he first got there and when Gordon didn't flirt back, instead kept mentioning how he'd just want to look at his wife, she covered it up the rest of the other days.

Shortly after Gordon left Lisa and Jonathon reverted straight back to the old Vienna.
They changed the decor and took all of the clutter back out of storage.
They went back to the old menu and as a result their reputation has remained the same.
Vienna Inn closed in November 2017. It closed after the hotel suffered from a fire that caused around $75,000 of damage. The hotel was sold for $30,000 in 2018.
I dont get why they ask Gordon to come help and then just revert back to what didnt work!!!
This happens because one of the owners is stubborn, egoistic as a result they change everything back to old. What amazes me most is if your old setup was so perfect why wasn't it making you any profit ?. From where do this owners get the audacity to change everything back to old style which wasn't making a dime for you is beyond my understanding.

John was really happy and grateful that Gordon helped him and showed him the way to success, bus Lisa is the main problem in that relationship... She constantly bickers with him, attacks him verbally, and constantly blames him for every detail and not to mention the fake crying. Im not surprised this hotel didnt work out. If John wants to be happy he needs to divorce her otherwise he might suffer a heart attack

The swinger's 'rumor' makes a lot of sense if you ask me. The wife is obviously flirting constantly, and Jonathan seems to be almost advertising that 'business is still on'. "We're very nice people". Fr i hate how she cries, its like that one classmate that's an attention seeker.
Lisa shows some very scary narcisistic tendencies here, and her husband seems to roll over at every conflict. I could call him an enabler, but I'm afraid that he very well could be being abused. This is the first episode where my heart sinks for them because the problems seem to be cutting a lot deeper than you see when you take it at face value.
...and the stuff are the ones who suffer the most bc of them....
I lived in Vienna for 8 years, three things:
1) No lady in Vienna/Austria presents her bosom when working at a hotel or restaurant - even not on a date. The upper 4-6 buttons of the bodice traditionally are also used ;-)
2) The food is nowhere close to authentic and modern Viennese cuisine, e.g. "Königsberger Klöpse" is a dish from Germany and East Prussia (today part of Poland and Russia). And the biggest surprise: Most of chrysanthemums types (the flower he ate) are lightly to severely poisonous. I really wonder that his mouth didn't get numb. The only chrysanthemum sort, at least I am aware off, that can be eaten, is the Chinese yellow chrysanthemum called "Ju Hua" which is used for tea preparation.
3) Making employees pay 300 USD for their own uniform (a classic "Dirndl"? Rather Bavarian...)?
And I don't want to comment on her narcissistic personality, ....
they should've turned the hotel into a horror movie set tbh. dead cat, dead person's violin, murdered family portraits, possibly hunted rocking chairs...absolutely crazy owners(probably lowkey possesed)
From the beginning ofnthis episode i noticed Lisa acting and I thought the episode director might told her to do so, but I was shocked when Gordon asked her 'why are you acting'. That was such an epic moment😁😁😁
If my boss smacked me they would have 2 options. Beg for my forgiveness or get charged with assault. The absolute nerve.

They reminded me of a unique guy in our locality,few years ago his house Burt down and he lost almost everything. The local people donated money and build a new house for him, After they finish building,he was like" I don't like it and I ain't staying "

There's this RUclipsr named ChrisFix who fixes cars for people. One of the guys he fixed the car of was a cop and Chris built a full-fledged cop car for him (for non-work use). I later learned that the cop sold the car(!!!), but that was because using said car was not allowed, even for personal use. I'm sure Chris got adequately compensated for his work regardless.

As a person from Vienna i actually loved the decor. The guest rooms definitely looked cluttered but the rest was beautiful and modernizing it took the whole austrian aspect away, it was sad to see so it doesnt surprise me that they didnt like it. also the change of the uniforms was not necessary :/
if you walk into any traditional "restaurant" here, youd see the same thing. taxidermied animals, deer heads, those giant beer mugs etc. the place was gorgeous, the owners and the food just sucked.
