This is possibly their best since The Dreadful Hours imo. Certainly on par with Feel The Misery, which is another late career highlight. I especially love the more Deathly approach that a lot of the tracks have. I agree it's certainly one of their heavier releases. I've always loved Aaron's ragged growl, it has a real menace to it!

I love Aaron's vocals too, he has such a unique singing and growling voice, a truly unique talent indeed 🤘

A Mortal Binding is indeed a freaking good heavy and dark album thus joins The Dreadful Hours and Feel the Misery albums in my My Dying Bride favorites. Will you check out Distortions by Godthrymm?

I completely agree, A Mortal Binding is one of My Dying Bride's darkest moments, it is a masterpiece.
