@@JamesTemplar-mn3pkNah it’s because they’re literally pulling the hairs out. If you’re wearing a helmet, you are being rough on your hair. Being rough on your hair will always help hair loss. It’s like drying your hair with a towel. That’s not good.
what about the reduce of sunlight wouldn't that cause some form of difference in the hair follicles. idk why I even ask these guys never reply to comments
glad you provided a definitive statement on this matter, so many people i know also still believe this. also (at 1:45) never heard of such a surgery - seems ludicrous to cut off blood supply for any reason! thanks for sharing…
As a hairstylist, in the beauty industry I hear all the time, wearing headbands, or wigs or HATS of course, won't neccessarily cause hair loss, but can acause traction alopecia in the long run. Is this true? Also, is wearing tight buns/ponytails - where the hair is being pulled tightly back going to cause a receding hairline?
Hello. Im a 16 year old who’s thinning / losing hair. Started losing late 15. I’m an early bloomer of puberty, and therefore I want to take Finasteride. I’m buying a Derma Stamp, all these BS oils like rosemary oil etc doesn’t work. For my brothers Finasteride worked, and so did the Derma Stamps. I want to do the same but I’m scared of the side effects. And I’m young so it’s different.
I'm 18 and I've been taking fin for almost 6 months with literally zero sides..just wait for 2 more years and start taking 0.5 mg everyday and gradually increase it to 1mg
Hey Dr, I’m starting losing hair after five months of using minoxidil never stop but I’m switched to other company from other country. After two weeks I start to losing my hair, so I switch again to the first company and I want to ask if it’s sounds logical? Now I’m using 9 days the old company who actually work very good, but I still have some heavy shading. and by the way, thank you for you're amazing channel learn a lot from you:)
Will swimming cause it? I loved swimming as my favourite exercise but someone told me it can speed up or cause MPB to come back/become more aggressive. I have it very mild (Norwood 2 to 2.5 over 9 years).
Hi kind. informative people. I was wondering what your views about Gelatin and if there is any studies on consuming Gelatin for hair growth. Somehow came across this last week after watching someone on RUclips include it in their hair regime. Hearing that it can improve thinning hair. Well coincidentally, I've been eating Gelatin everyday over the past 4 months to add to my nightly desert with diet Aeroplane Jelly or other brand, which is made up of Bovine Gelatin which is meant to be good for hair, skin and nails. I've noticed my crown so much thicker than ever before over the past month while using a micro needling pen, the thin scalp has been harder to see. Hair is not as thin on my crown now, better than ever and far better than since starting Finasteride and Minoxidil and Micro needling for the past 3 years which stopped the hairloss and helped a little recovery. I micro needle my crown and hairline every 2 weeks usually and once a day Minoxidil, and 4x1mg Finasteride tablets per week, which is what ive been doing since 2020/21. Now, when looking at my scalp area now on my crown, where it had a horseshoe thinning shape area, now is looking much more filled in. This was before knowing about consuming Gelatin as a potential aid for hair growth and thickening hair. I really think it could be doing a lot of benefit. I started using a Diet low calorie Jelly to add to my protein yoghurt mix with frozen berries to make it more substantial and filling to maintain my healthy weigh and now this seems to be an added benefit. Love to hear an episode on Gelatin.
Hair loss leads to wearing hats.
Short answer is No.
Wat about helmet? I have seen many men going bald as a result of consistent helmet usage
@@JamesTemplar-mn3pkThat's not really the cause. I have seen many men going bald because they're men and men go bald.

Wearing a cap/hat is cheaper than a hair transplant.
Are you having sex while wearing cap lmao
You can't run your fingers through a hat 😅

what about wearing headphones? I noticed the bald spot I have is around the same area as the wristband of the headphones
Cutting the arteries to the scalp to stop DHT from reaching the follicle seems insane. WOW. 1:40

does air pollution (traffic smoke, factories smoke) cause hair loss?
Yes!
But it does cause dandruff if we keep wearing it for a long time which may further cause thickining of hair resulting in hairloss

Taking finasteride at such an early age will be the biggest mistake of your life, I can promise you that.
