Buying a 392 SCAT PACK Daytona Edition Charger?

I've been in the Jeep for a while with my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and I love the platform that the Jeep Grand Cherokee offers. I've been looking around to find an SRT Grand Cherokee to upgrade to, but with the way prices are on these Jeeps right now it doesn't make sense to pay the asking price on the 2018+ Grand Cherokees that I've looked at. I recently started looking into the 392 Scat Pack Dodge Chargers & Challengers due to the fact that you get the same 500 (ish) horsepower 392 6.4L v8 engine as the Jeep SRT but in a much more compact car. I have some complaints & issues with doing that swap which I'll touch on in a video next week. So stay tuned & make sure you're subscribed for that!

I went from a ‘15 SRT Chally to a ‘21 Jeep GC Trailhawk w/the 5.7 and could not be happier. WAY more practical for all year driving here in the Northeast, more comfortable then a “car” and plenty of power. Put an intake and Corsa cat back on her and it’s a blast to drive in Sport mode - never going back🤘
I'm just hooked on the 392 engine either in a Charger/Challenger/Jeep lol
Nice car man but definitely think about having a rear wheel drive sports car in the New England winters. It will be less then fun if not impossible to go anywhere during snow storms
That's definitely one thing that's holding me back from it, but i've read with snow tires because of the weight they're not that bad. Plus the content would be fun lol
It doesn't take a snowstorm, just an inch or two and you're not going anywhere! But it sure looks fun in the dry weather, would love a manual transmission in it though.

The price is too high for that scat. Too many miles for for the asking price. I would wait for a better deal. 🤑🤑🤑🤑
Definitely not going with that one specifically! The wheels were all curbed up, and tons of scratches it was definitely not taken care of lol
If the engine have been detailed before purchase id be suspicious....🤣 ...when sold upon picking it up sure....but id rather see how it was before being detailed . Am wierd i know

But in my opinion, that price for a USED 40K plus miles, I would say NO.
That wouldn't be a good purchase. It would be an impulse buy. Don't do it.
If credit is great, I would highly advise you LEASE one. A 2021 model with no mileage, it would be HELLA cheaper or similar price you would pay. And since it's a FCA product, you can probably get a better trade in value for your JGC
Totally agree, not gonna go for that one for sure. Just checking out different years. I would never lease since I drive a lot & my business is modifying cars which wouldn't work on a lease the way I do things lol
Nice video like always my boy! That V8 fit you well and it’s a major upgrade. You can only do so much to a V6 and still can’t top out on the mileage. I say go for it 👍

If I can find one! There's 0 within 100 miles under a 2018 which is more than I want to spend on one lol The Scat may be the way to go for now

Terrible in the winter and too high of mileage for the asking price. If anything upgrade to a better Jeep. Love my Overland with the Hemi.
I wouldn’t want to go to anything other than the SRT but for the price it’s not worth the $70k they’re asking unfortunately

I drive in track all day! That my friend is what we call highway robbery, no one in their right mind would pay that for that amount of miles, the Daytona package includes the intake other scat packs do not, I have every package available on my scat minus a moon roof which has proven failures which the manufacturer will not fix even though they admit to it failing along with the A/C system any A/C system in dodge Chrysler jeep after 2015-16 has the newer A/C system and it fails and they know about it and will not cover it under warranty, if that doesn’t tell you how dodge stands behind their product I don’t know what will! I have a 19 Daytona and I love it but I am willing to sell it at a moments notice I even added the platinum warranty through third party agency for that extra protection since dodge Chrysler jeep are a bunch of bums.
