- Charger is amaze-balls. So fast, so fun and so loud! The 6.4L is has bottomless reserves of torque and a strong top end for the 485HP!
This video is perhaps our most technical yet - with a dozen camera angles and a WILD intro full of burnt rubber. The 275/40/ZR20 P Zero tires all around really hunker the SRT392 to the ground around corners - especially versus the 5.7L Daytona or the R/T Scat Pack. I went to the dealer to get an R/T and i didn't even know what the daytona charger is, i saw your great review and other videos here on youtube and i ended up getting the 392 daytona in destroyer grey.
I'll probably recieve my car tomorrow and i really can't be thankful enough.

I drove one with the 6.4 thursday. It was a lil rough around the edges, busted windshield, dents, etc auction car. I ran it up the auction track a few times... damn it would light the tires so easy I had no idea what i was doing but 50% throttle lit em up and full throttle at 30 mph caused her to slide and spin it was so much fun It had some cheap tires on it so not much traction

Drive it like you stole it son! I ditched the 275 Pirellis and went with 10"rims and 315 Nitto 555s on mine on the rear and it hooks up out of the hole way better now. This car makes the drive to work fun!

You could’ve went with just any other brand of tire and had better hooking up from the hole the pirellis are just garbage

Papi the Don Rogillio you probably have an actual SRT 392. The Daytona 392 does not come with adaptive suspension. Not even as an option.

Sounds louder then my 6gen camaro but the camaro out drives this in every way.

FullBattleRattle 249 i owned one and got this car. Camaro is awesome, just no room. My 392 has taken out many 6th gen. Love both js.
I might actually have to say the 392 will be neck and neck with the Camaro SS in 0-60 and 1/4. Will come down to actual driver. I've seen plenty of races in real life and on video where the Ws and Ls go to both almost equally.

This is not a SRT. Its a Daytona 392 and this is not as good as SRT.
Majestic_SRT only difference mechanically is adaptive suspension. But yes not an SRT
Majestic_SRT....its a 392 car powered by Srt....dont need adjustable suspension...its a muscle car....scat don't have it and 200 pounds lighter...id rather have the weight reduction....

Majestic_SRT it pains me to admit it but he is right. Just called Daytona 392. I swear the ride gets harder in sport but spec sheet says Bilstein High Performance Suspension and nothing about it being adaptive or actively adjustable. Agree its not needed. Thanks for watching!!

So much wrong info. The Scatpack can get EVERYTHING but the different Daytona badging (which I actually find tacky). I MUCH prefer the wheels that come with the Dynamics package on the Scat Pack. For me I find the seats also unattractive on the Daytona (dont like the ribs). For me, I was a much bigger fan of the cleaner Scat Pack (No decals), and I like the 392 badge better on the SP. Overall, the ONLY reason for getting a Daytona would have been the stock Cold Air Intake. But given the fact that all that does is make the car a bit louder (it doesnt add even 1hp), there was almost no reason for me to get it.
For me the Scat Pack is overall FAR nicer looking car IMHO, and after adding the Dynamics package, it is still cheaper and just as good performance wise as the Daytona. IMO they should have added some additional HP or SOMETHING that isnt available on the SP other than decals and other tacky garbage.

Actually with all of those add ons it makes the price equal to the Daytona. To each their own really, it's just a different style of the same car. I'd rather have a functional scoop than not though...
Love the Scatpack upgraded the tires and all was perfect so loved it I drove it 28000 miles last year for pleasure considering and SRT, as I now have final medical issues love this setup
Wrong. 6 piston hellcat brembos stock on the Daytona, scat gets 4 piston. Also a wider tire. At $1300 for just replacement rotors, well worth the "tacky" ...
@@ManleyMachines read what i said. You CAN get 6 piston breaks on the Scatpack. I have it....its called the dynamics package. I also dont like the daytona wheels, and preferred the dynamics wheels.
The SRT and Daytona have absolutely NO BIG advantages over the Scat Pack. Lmfao. Sorry, put 275/40/20 tires on the Scat Pack and you are good with no wheel change. The "upgrades" to me and many others are not worth the additional $8k-$10k in price tag. And I'm sure Dodge really appreciated all the rocks you just slung onto the rear quarter completely fucking up the paint. I saw an idiot just thrashing a car. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
