Lol...me too! There are a handful of bands that are really unique and get fun reactions. Devin is one of them :-). The first time I watch this, I kept saying “who IS this guy??”
Devis is amazing. Virtually everything he's made is amazing, and in so many different styles: from unplugged acoustic stuff to the most extreme heavy stuff! And he pulls it off again and again.. And, yes, I also dove into all his stuff quickly, and bought it, over the course of a couple of months, and that didn't even happen when I discovered King Crimson..
There are tons of professional musicians out there who play/sing on pretty high technical levels. In my opinion, Devin Townsend stands out because he has a lot of charisma, that is something most of 'those other' musicians are underestimating. Also, he seems to self reflect very well.
"Justinian Code" by Byzantine is a must!! They're from my home state West Virginia. They've even toured with bands like Opeth. Please do me the favor and react to that video of theirs! You won't regret it!
Hey mate about your music : if there is something to learn from Dev it is : do your own thing, take pride in it, have fun and enjoy the fuck out of it :) I'm sure that is what he would tell you. Thanks for the reaction
I literally watch every reaction to this. So amazing!
PinkMetalHead we need more dev reactions from you in the future. Your future husband is waiting ;)
Haha. I will definitely react to more Dev
Check out "Supercrush" live by a thread. It's so flipping amazing :) you will love it

"The drummer needs to calm down" comment your friend made had me laughing out loud. Even though you've seen this before it's still a good reaction.
"The drummer needs to settle down" hahahaha!!
More is fricking cool too. Same session ;)

Check out some Ayreon when you get a chance mate. Run Apocalypse Run is a good one to start with.
Try 'Funeral' for some ambiguity .
