People are so dumb. When CD's came out, it not only improved the sound quality that was available to regular listeners, but it also greatly improved the range of frequencies, therefore making the listening experience that much better. Fast forward to the newer generations, and they go back to a compressed digital format that loses much of the improved quality. Just wait until their favorite online provider that they "purchased" all of their digital media decides to close up shop and they are left with nothing. At least with CD's (and other physical media) I can make digital copies and use those if I want to, and still have the actual product for future proof situations.

Everyone needs to understand their property rights. You will own nothing and they will convince you it’s what you want.
