Leigha I came back to this practice after about 3 years and marvel again at the wonderful pacing, flow, and vibrancy of the practice. Even though I am now 60 years old, with dedicated practice I can achieve so much more than when I first came to this practice. I am working on wheel, as a former swimmer and triathlete my shoulders have always been resistant. I am finally floating up there for 5 breaths, rising with breath rather than "muscling" up there which was and is always a mistake. I will return to this practice faithfully again to open shoulders and continue to develop heart opening. Thank you so much for your gift of teaching. Namaste, Leigha.
Stiff shoulder, delayed reaction after falling on it skiing. Other shoulder injured after falling from a horse many yrs ago. Yoga recovers my shoulders and keeps my 73 yr old body able to keep up with my 78 yr racer brother. Thanks to videos like your....grateful.
You're amazing. Thank you Leigha. I love all your classes. The pace is wonderful. I would love it if you'd do one where we focus on core and then move into shoulder-opening and backbend. Love, Heidi
oh my, I have chronic shoulder pain and this was fantastic relief!!! thank you for making people's life so much better!!1 you are a true blessing to the universe! :)
I LIVE for your online classes Leah! The only thing that would be better is if I lived near you to take live classes - your flows are amazing! I have definitely tried a lot of RUclips yogis out there but your videos are by far my favorite. Thank you so much for making me love yoga again! 💕
this was such a great flow. i have really knotty deltoids, rhomboids traps and the pin and stretch was an amazing way to end the practice. I have been practicing yoga for years and no one has ever shown me this pose.Thank you so much i feel amazing.
This is a fantastic practice for anyone sitting at a computer all day or in class hunched over their desk taking notes! Perfect way to release all of that tension. Thank you!
I agree completely, I am a student and gather tension in my hips from sitting in class all day. I also tend to tense my hips and thighs when I'm stressed. I come back to this video after all my exams and feel so much better after the release. Thank you so much Leigha!!!!!
Thank you once again Leigha! Another great class. This felt so good especially for my tight shoulders from an old rotator cuff injury. I'd love to learn from you how to float through sun salutations so fluidly and gracefully.
This is such a blessing of a class. I was wondering, would you consider crafting a class to increase shoulder strength/alleviate soreness. I’ve been suffering from a pesky pain in the front of my shoulder; probably too many chatturangas. Peace
Thank you for adding time for savanna at the end of the recording otherwise the next vid plays and jolts you out of it. namaste! ;) best stuffi have found on the internet in a long time. your efforts are appreciated!!
Thank you for this wonderful shoulder opening class. The transitions are, as usual, creative and challenging enough for all. Your pacing and description are on point. I love the 30-minute format, as usually I have to squeeze a practice in. Your classes are a gift. Namaste.
thanks Leigha... I would love to see a practice dedicated to twists. Being the start of a new year and getting back to work again it would be great to twist away all the pent up frustrations/sadness/unhappiness from last year to start fresh :) Also I would love more hip opening... the hardest for me but delivers much release. Namaste xx
woke up with a horribly stiff upper back and very tight shoulders......this is EXACTLY what I needed. i feel fantastic now. :) thank you as always for your amazing videos. love love love
Love this practice! You are so creative to get the arm balance from that wide legged standing thing, even though I landed squarely on the right and left cheek respectively! Leigha is my new fave!
hi Leigha. thank you for all your yoga flows I love them, they make feel so good and I really enjoy doing them everyday. you are the best and I really admire you and wish I could do all the positions you do. (slowly getting there) Natasha xxx : )
I just discovered you + your channel + your beautiful Energy & style of teaching yoga!!! My very first video I got my feet wet with was your "tin yoga", which has really inspired me to delve deeper into Yin and all its boundless benefits with my own practice in order to hone in on my teaching skills outside and Inside. As a yoga instructor myself, I Must say I'm totally inspired by you!!! Your voice is soothing and gives me the feeling of a kindred spirit... I am also inspired by your deep knowledge of the body, especially with your distinct word choice and adept body queues. From one teacher to another... Namaste!!🙏💕🌀
Hi Leigha! I'm glad I found yor chanell. Your videos are exactly what I've looking for! These practices make me feel alive :) It's amazing to learn that you can be both strong and gracefull. Your vinyasa is very creative, some poses are still quite challenging and maybe I'll never be able to do them -I keep trying, though!- Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot, Leigha, this was an amazing class (as always)! As someone has already mentioned in the comments, we students sit A LOT, so lately I've been feeling unpleasant tension in my hips, knees and lower legs. Maybe you could give us another "legs" class?
Awesome video! Thank you! I saw in the comments ideas for a back flexibility video. I would love that! Also yoga for balance would be great, incorporating balance for the body and mind with one-legged poses as well as headstands and forearm balance. Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you so much for this class, this was perfect. I was looking to open my shoulders a bit and ended up being able to do eka pada koundinyasana for the first time ever :D
This was perfection! Just did it, and feel amazing. Thanks so much Leigha! I love how you also encouraged keeping palms up and holding ankles from under...which was key to opening the front shoulders for me. Big hugs to you!
Hi Leigha! As always, you're classes rejuvenate me! My back is the least flexible part of me and I was wondering if you had a series that is good for back flexibility. Hope to hear from you! -Sumi
+Sumi Chatterjee I LOVE this idea. I have been thinking about doing a "yoga for back pain" or related video for a long time now. Every day I have to incorporate all kinds of creative upper back openers in my own practice to make sure my low back doesn't take all the load in my backbends. But a series is an even better idea. So many people are in need of spinal extension work and could benefit. This really sparked me up today. Thanks for sharing.
First time viewer of yours! This was a great flow and really unexpected! Most shoulder openers i've done have been quite static and gentle so i was happy to get a bit of a sweat worked up. My only comment would be the camera work? It's very disorienting to keep looking up at the video and have the shot be from a different angle, especially working right and left, I get a bit confused if i'm doing it right and end up having to pause multiple times to check. Might i suggest a static camera angle? :) But your call. Over all though, i really enjoyed this!
+youarekidding Hey! Thank you for the feedback. I filmed my first 50 or so videos on a tripod, and I was experimenting in this one. It really helps me to hear what it feels like from the viewer's end. I appreciate it. I'm glad you generally enjoyed. Thanks again for you comment. It will shape how I approach future vids. 🙏🏽
hi there u can count me as one of ur biggest fans ....am headed for my first trek. in the himalayes can u design a class to help me prepare thanks and keep up the. good work
Hi. You're incredibly beautiful but can your husband get a tripod or something to steady that camera next time? (It looks like his hands shake quite a bit) I also noticed you have electric baseboard heat. Do you think I should get that instead of central? -Cheers-
Think I'll do this at the weekend :) Your camera man/woman seems to like your bum! lol Only on a couple of occasions, I would imagine it's an accident with the zoom, rather than deliberate. But quite amusing, anyway. lol.

Thank YOU, Kelli!

The last shoulder / chest opener made me feel sick. So intense.
Thank you so much. Love your pace and style
I love love love your classes! I have probably done your longer classes a gazillion times. They never get boring.

I just find your chanal today. Great program. It really helps opening my shoulders. Can you also do a program for neck?
Good idea 💡!
great video! but the camera man moved around too much.. made me dizzy! but i love your videos! i always watch them for inspiration!! thank you!!
I love the yoga in this but could learn more from it with a fixed camera as i dont think the freestyle handheld worked very well
Thank you!
Otherwise I love your classes😍
+Trudy Warmerdam ☺️
Just so juicy. Thank you. Loved the outtake too!
*Who is the lovely camera man helping out? :-) namaste, leigha.*
In this case, it’s my friend Kelli.
@@LeighaButler for 30 whole minutes, she held the camera! You have a trooper.

This wat of filming is very disturbing. So sorry to say, but a steady camera is much nicer. For me it feels like being on a boat and makes me nauseous
