This yoga sequence is designed to open your shoulders and chest, as well as stretch out your low back. We start on the floor taking it easy at first (well, not totally easy, it's a very deep shoulder stretch). Then we flow through standing poses and a unique back bending sequence I've been really loving. Perfect to counteract time at a desk, working or study. And it will definitely give your back a break from lugging around that heavy backpack.

I was having major spasms in my upper back and couldn't get any relief, even after a massage. My massage therapist said the tightness in my shoulders was causing it . One run through this sequence and no more pain! Thank you for putting this sequence together. It's just what I need!!

Brett, I have terrible neck, shoulder, and jaw pain. I am constantly working on this pain through yoga, massage, and acupuncture. This was wonderful! I've been having hip pain for the past couple of years. After two rounds of therapy and several trips to the chiropractor, my hairdresser (a wealth of helpful information), I finally figured it out it was all because of tension in my shoulders. This yoga practice is one I'll repeat often. Thank you. My whole body feels better already.

I Loved this sequence! I do landscaping and at fall leaf clean up time I wear a30 pound back pack leaf blower for 8 to 10 hours a day. This shoulder release felt AMAZING!

Thank you for this! I used to be on my feet all day and now that I sit at a desk I experience mid back pain and between my shoulders every day after work. I would love more stretches like this as yoga seems to be the only way to relieve this pain!

Been so bugged down at work. My left shoulder began to slowly build tension. I ignored it for 3 weeks and now it's super stiff. It feels better after practice but still needs some work. Thank you for yet another great sequence. 🙏🏾

Really really good for a coder like me
Dear Brett, Would you video tape some sequences designed to straighten out an upper back that tends to have a osteoporosis-like curve. This routine is helpful, as is downward facing dog with the knees deeply bent, however, I wonder if there could be some that address that particular very painful vertical curve.
