Esther, Thank you forsharing this practical video! I have been following you off and on for years and I must say you are still a mainstay in my yoga vocabulary. Last October I tore my bicep and tendons by shoulder. I went to physical therapy paid by health insurance and was very disappointed by the quality of physical therapy given me(all electronic devices). To my surprise after 3 months of this, I noticed I still had pain, though less pain in the bicep, but worse pain in my shoulder - I had even lost range of motion in the shoulder and couldn't lift my arm even to do a sun salutation! This is when I decided enough is enough! I'm researching and putting my own bicep and shoulder program together. Your yoga stretch exercises in this video are excellent! I felt an immediate difference in circulation and movement of those areas. I'm definitely adding this to my physical therapy program! Thank you for sharing this Esther.
Thank you.i had tried to do chin ups yesterday plus I have been skiing a lot so more shoulders are very sore. This is a great reminder to do this everyday. Dont wait until you need it.
I have a fractured clavicle, separated at the AC and the SC. The clavicle is pushin in on my neuro vascular bundle. Cause me to black out and massive dizziness. My first rib is dislocated at the intercostal vertebra at T1. I have seen physio, osteopaths, and chiropractors, all who were excellent, and really knew there stuff. However, I just did these exercises with the video and I think I you have a great technique. I need more of these types of exercises. I need a course to learn this. You and your mum are brilliant.
Esther I've just found you on RUclips, I've got cervical spondylosis. I'm doing your routine and I can definitely feel the benefits of mobility. Thank you.
Thank you, Esther. I have a piece of road shrapnel in my shoulder from an accident that makes my other power yoga difficult sometimes. Those guys often neglect the neck and shoulders because they're Vikings that have never worked behind a desk and they act like they don't understand the problem. Thank you.
So I was diagnosed a few years ago with Thoracic outlet syndrome I tried physical Therapy twice with no improvement, doctor says surgery is the only way to fix it. I want to exhaust all methods of alternative treatment before I let them cut me. I just realized I have lost quite a bit of range of motion in my shoulder after trying a few of your yoga exercises.
Esther, wonderful video! I'm new here. I love that bolster pillow. What size is it? Where did you get it? Thank you so much for posting these exercises, I feel much better after doing them
Hi Whitney - it's a round meditation cushion. You can get something similar from Bodynova or Yoga Matters depending where you live. Glad the exercises helped you!
Hi Esther. I've been doing your shoulder opener and other videos for years now. They're great -- thank you! Can you point me to any of your Yoga videos (lower back or shoulder) that might suppor surfing. I go on surfing trips every two months for one week (and surf for a week straight). When I'm out there padding (on my stomach, legs flat, shoulders up, head up), I get spaghetti shoulders (where they become completely exhausted) and my back gets easily fatigued (where I can't hold my paddle posture with shoulder and head up). These are probably symptoms of poor conditioning and lack of repetition. Also, the shoulder (and back) become tight to the point where they 'feel' restrictive and 'virtually' immobile. Typically, after a few days, I seem to acclimate and can stay out longer paddling/surfing. I'm looking for something (perhaps yoga related) that might get my shoulders/back to acclimate faster than a few days. I'm relatively fit. I indoor rock climb regularly (a few times a week) and mountain bike regularly (a few times a week). Thanks.
The heart chakra can be felt in many ways. What I’ve noticed is that I can feel a lot of tensions or “swells of emotions” from the center of my chest. But exactly in the same area through the back, are the tensions and emotions of things I’m not noticing, not aware of. This often feels like shoulder and neck pains. Yoga is excellent practices to feel and ease into our muscles, but throughout the day I find it helpful to relax my muscles, heart chakra area especially, to work through it. Good luck with your practices 😊

I find these shoulder yoga sessions useful for my chronic shoulder pain. How many times a day should this be done to gain full benifit's?

ruclips.net/video/6SA3XeA4XuM/видео.html Hi Vinh I hope this still helps!
@@yogeasy_com I still use your routines consistently!
Are counting eg ten breaths.
Does anyone know which emotions are related to the shoulders and upper back?
