Heilung doesn't play with their instruments. They play with your feelings. And just like the songs get louder or quieter, you get hyped or meditational You have to see this band live at least once, they are one of a kind

I just found this song yesterday on Spotify and I love it so much!! It just feels so good! I don’t even speak any language close to this but the song feels right in my bones!!!
There's something about this band that feels so incredibly authentic...it can't be that their just simply artists and musicians trying to create an original sound. Some of them at least have to be deeply dedicated practising Pagans with the insight to get this so right on so many levels....
They are pagans and they don’t try to recreate. They use ancient texts and inscriptions, instruments based on old ones but not old themselves. They call it amplified history. This is what I understand from interviews.
I enjoy this song so much, and every other song that I have listened to sounded better live. I don't know if it is the recording or the band but the whole thing sounds like it's in a different key compared to the record version. If somone could comment on this it wohld be appreciated.
I feel like the album versions are good background music, perhaps for meditating or working to. They're softer and more controlled, while the live versions have raw power to them that simply just doesn't translate in the album versions. The live versions have a more natural, raw feeling to them imo. Both versions of each song is usually good though
Sounds like it's tuned down half a tone. I heard it as well. Probably because the male parts between the verses were straining his voice. He still struggled though. And Maria struggled too because the verses became too low at some parts. Could be bad stage sound as well.
Going to a live show really breaks the illusion. Still love the band, but going live really brings to light that no one’s singing is as good as the edited and mastered songs in their albums. I think I’ll still go eventually, but I’ll probably just go for the experience. I always liked how the drums made me feel.
