My Pagan beliefs and my contact to the Old Gods during spiritual work and meditation has been deepened by Heilung, specifically Lifa. The music speaks of more than it is. It’s not just music, it’s The Old Gods and Goddesses yelling at the top of their lungs thru mortals, “This is our history, find your path, we are wolves, not sheep. We do not need a Shepard, we need healing and strength.”

I haven't heard this interview before and am glad I found it. I love that they pointed out the tribal connection. I showed their Krigsgaldr video to a Native American girl at work (Seneca) and while we were watching it I mentioned that many people seem to forget that we were all tribal at some point in our past, for some it worked to remain that way, others had to change. She found it interesting and mentioned the similarities between her culture and what was being shown/performed. I also agree with the cathartic effect mentioned. I found listening to Heilung to be a very deep, primal experience, my first thought was "turbulent introspection". It is at once mesmerizing, exciting and very primal. Beating drums = heart beats. We all have ancient knowledge in our beings, ancient memories in our DNA, some are just more connected / sensitive or aware of it than others. No matter where people are living now, they had ancestors who lived in a common place with knowledge / wisdom that spread across the globe as they dispersed and settled in new lands. We are all part of a very ancient human family with common beginnings.
I'll never forget the first time I watched Heilung's LIFA. It was so unexpected and I sort of got hypnotized. It was late, I was alone and had a nice set of speakers. I went somewhere else. Far from the city, from social media, from all this fucking modern complexity. It was better than therapy, better than clonazepam. I'll always be thankful for that.

2019 was a very transformative year. Two major things I introduced into my world were psilocybe cubensis and Heilung. Very grateful for my planet and all the magic it produces.
I listen non stop Heilung and i'am singing the runes with them because this song is really reconnected me to the nature, the éléments with strenght and the presence of my family roots by my father who died in 2020 with nobless and humanity and a voice ; Whaouh : who certainely went from Heilun country, he was a pioneer on altruism, a paradox of this culture in which I am now in my place. Thank you so much !
This music feels like our ancestors dancing through my body, singing: "We are alive and so are you!". :) (I'm suffering from Ptsd, so everything that helps me to connect with life is...woah...such a huge relief.)
Because it speaks to your evolutionary DNA, every ancestor writes a piece of their life experience inside of the dna strand that you are the owner of now, its like a big database of ancient memories.
I just discovered Heiling in the last month or so, because a co worker had mentioned that he was going to see them. I came home and went to check them out, I fell HARD. I've never been so obsessed with a new band before. *swoon*
I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. Dr said she was shocked that I could walk. So I was in the shop doing some wood work. Found Heilung on RUclips. It awoken something in my mind. Very spiritual.
This album has put me through the deepest trances, has forced me to face my darkest demons, I’ve spoke with my Viking ancestors. My parent are from Norway , but I was born and grew up in America. I went to a psychic 2 years back and was told that I have ancestor that follows me and has been since I was a child to protect me and that he is dressed in traditional Viking attire. So I did a recent dna ancestry test and spent the big money to get the most accurate. I found out I am a direct blood line descendent of Ragnar Lothbrok. Continued down the line to find that the French in me come from Rollo

2019 was a very transformative year. Two major things I introduced into my world were psilocybe cubensis and Heilung. Very grateful for my planet and all the magic it produces.
Listening to whole LIFA show helped me with stress relief more than any therapist ever could.
(I'm suffering from Ptsd, so everything that helps me to connect with life is...woah...such a huge relief.)
These people changed so many parts of my life with one simple concert... it is incredible
Heilung makes me feel like me. Will be seeing them live in a few months. Very excited for the experience.
Because it speaks to your evolutionary DNA, every ancestor writes a piece of their life experience inside of the dna strand that you are the owner of now, its like a big database of ancient memories.
This group is a blessing, a natural medication. Thank you for that !
I just discovered Heiling in the last month or so, because a co worker had mentioned that he was going to see them. I came home and went to check them out, I fell HARD. I've never been so obsessed with a new band before. *swoon*

Greetings from Colombia, i listen to Heilung, they was a great discover for me. Their music is an electrifying and empowering experience.
I have seen this clip many times before and it still deaw me in and reminds me of my ancient roots. An eclectic tangle that brought me here.
I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. Dr said she was shocked that I could walk. So I was in the shop doing some wood work. Found Heilung on RUclips. It awoken something in my mind. Very spiritual.
It's like having your soul summoned to earth.
Big fan of their music. Found them a few months ago and really enjoy listening to them. I'd love to go to a live performance one day.
Ребята вы лучшие. После вашего видео у меня произошло переосмысление внутреннего мира. Благодарю вас всех.
I saw them live when they were in Chicago and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. 10/10 best thing to ever witness.
They explain exactly why I listen to them when I work out.
The depth and spiritual feel their music gives is unbelievably amazing
Saw Heilung in York in 2020. Loved them. We can't wait for them to come back to the UK
Heilung is great and haven’t stopped meditating to this since I found it. Amazing!
Several nice, I'd say even magical things happened in my life, right after Heilung concert in Kiev. And I am blessed! Not to mention I have never seen anything as complete and whole as it was at this concert! Thank you Heilung for whatever you do 🌿
Es heilt wirklich die Seele ❤
It really heals the soul?
I saw Heilung in Vienna recently, best experience in my life!
So schade, dass ich sie noch nicht kannte, bevor sie in Wien waren. Hab sie erst in der Quarantäne entdeckt. Hoffentlich kommen sie nach dem Virus wieder mal vorbei.

Works wonders on my PTSD/Depression days
@g milne yup
@Proxime thanks doc... I'm cured
Because you didn't find a "cure" in something doesn't mean it can't help other people, music can be a great tool in therapy for instance. I think if used right some people could find it really useful
@Proxime misery loves company... look how much attention you get for negativity :) depression is how you feel on the inside... what you project out is misery.
Same here bro! OEF 09-10
I have been listening to Heilung since a couple of years now and recently I watched them live and it was one of the best experiences I ever had... I absolutely love them and I hope that they will stay together for many more years to come, for more awesome concerts and albums. I wanna be like them man"!
I grew up listening to hardcore punk, grind, anything that was angry. I believe it was a way to release but nothing has hit my soul harder than Heilung. It activates something inside of me that I've never felt before. I'm grateful to have found this group of artists/ shamans.
This band is pure ancestral ..perfect for psychedelic ceremonies
This music is what I’ve been looking for. Appears when one is ready. Thank you Heilung!!!
I saw the live show soon after it was released on RUclips in November, 2017. I was captivated. I am deeply grateful to Heilung for creating such powerful art. I am hoping to attend the show in Ireland in 2021.
I discovered them a few years ago. I went into a trance. I’ve been a fan ever since.
