CORRECTION: This was one of the first videos I've ever made (I think it was the 3rd). SO, that being said, there are a lot of critical mistakes, and audio issues, sorry for that. At the time I only had like 100 subs, I thought I would only get a few views. I do plan on remaking this video sometime in the future, but for the mean time just be warned. :)

About Herman's arm, there's an episode in the same season where on a field trip, Ms Krabappel warns her students about keeping their arms inside the bus, because "we all know that tragic story of that young man who stuck his arm out the window and had it ripped off." clearly implied to be Herman. There's actually a lot of this strange worldbuilding in the first season. In fact even before the Hans Sprungfield thing, it's implied there's inconsistencies in the Jebediah Springfield, like how he apparently killed a bear with his bare hands when recent evidence indicates the bear killed him.
I'd wonder why I haven't tried writing one of these icebergs, but like half of it would be first-second season wierdness, and the other half would be internet Simpsons stuff, like Simpsonswave or Sugarposting lol

I have a few additions to the iceberg that I'd like to present here:
    - Al Jean has said that several existing episodes could serve as a suitable series finale. One of the proposed episodes he pitched was "Moonshine of the Simpson's Mind" and "Christmas of Future Passed," He even considered having the series finale lead into the pilot episode "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", thus establishing the series is in an infinite loop.
    - In 2011 FOX executives contemplated cutting the pay of several crew members and voice actors and so in anticipation of the series being cancelled the episode "Christmas of Future Passed" aired and was meant to serve as a canonical series finale unless FOX executives were willing to compromise.
    - The Season 1 finale "Some Enchanted Evening" was actually the first episode produced for the series and is known for its exaggerated cartoony style and several animation errors. The reason for its troubled development was the animation studio Klasky Csupo were experienced in drawing in a very traditional cartoony way, which went against series creator Matt Groening's push for a realistic animation style. Tensions got so high that it resulted in a heated argument between James L. Brooks and studio head Gabor Csupo due to Brooks calling their animation "shit."
    - Matt Groening has admitted that he isn't the biggest fan of the original Tracey Ullman shorts due to the rushed animation as Groening was working under a time constraint and assumed his rough sketches would be cleaned up by the Korean animators, but were instead animated as they were, resulting in the rough visual style the shorts were known for.
    - The only episode to not have Groening's name attached was the episode "A Star is Burns" due to it being a crossover episode with The Critic, a show created by Al Jean. Groening was opposed to the crossover due to it breaking the established realism of the Simpsons universe. He hated it so much he requested his name be removed from the title sequence as a result.

When Groening originally went in to pitch the show to Fox back in 1989 or whatever, he was going to pitch Life in Hell, based on comics he had made about bunnies trying to make it in LA. But he became paranoid about Fox stealing his idea before he went in, and drew a human family instead. He probably drew Marge as a bunny first, but drew over it with dark blue (like ink pens are) and gave the rest of the family crazy hairstyles to match her's.

The joke in this one is playing on the conspiracy theories around multiple Beatles song containing dark backmasked, reversed, messages. A couple of their songs actually did use backmasking, but either with the instrumentals or innocent messages to troll the fans desperately searching for messages.
In a completely unrelated note. Weed and hallucinogens were very popular in the 60's.

Imma cover all of the entries that he didn’t cover in Below the Abyss.
Disney+ harvests users brainwaves and dna: There is a very low chance that this is true, but hey, it’s Disney, they’d do anything for money.
Dead Bart is a cover up for season 1, episode 15: There is only 13 episodes in season one. This is obviously a joke entry, but, maybe the first season was supposed to have 15 episodes. We’ll never know.
Homer sightings in southern United States and Mexico: I’m scared.
Mother Simpson ending is different when viewed in high-rad environment: I’m not gonna attempt this, but the theory is if you watch the ending of mother Simpson in a place like Chernobyl, then it’ll be different? Idk man.
Yellowcake: Yellowcake is a yellow, powdery form of uranium. I’m guessing this theory is that the Simpsons skin are made of it, because their skin is… well, yellow.
Steamed hams is a Utica expression: This is not true. In the skit, skinner states it’s an Albany expression. Dum-dum bubblegum.
Homer’s original voice actor: From what I know, he has no original VA. The voice actor has always been Dan Castellaneta.
The simpsons is real footage: Springfield is a real place, so there’s a chance.
The show itself possesses an abstract consciousness: If I were to cover this entry, the Disney hit men would be immediately dispatched to my location. So for my safety and yours, I won’t cover this one.
Chernobyl was a cover up for Springfield: If this is true, if you went to Springfield in real life, you’d see the alternate mother Simpson ending.
(btw Springfield is not a real place lolololllolol)

Another great video, better than the first one, but I have a few more notes. Please forgive me if this is a repost, youtube's being weird with my comments.
The Marge bunny ears were actually going to be a reference to one of Matt Groening's previous works, Life In Hell which starred bunnies. This was set to be revealed at the end of season 1, but later scrapped for unknown reasons. Konami only had the plans for season 1 of the show to work off of when they made the arcade game (Which can be seen with things like Bart having a blue shirt and Smithers having a much more villainous role) so thst explains why they're included in that.
I don't fully know why the iceberg referred to it as "trans" specifically and not just "queer" or whatever, because most of that could just as easily be interpreted as gay (Like you said)
The Paul McCartney thing was kinda a tongue-and-cheek reference to a popular conspiracy theory that Paul is actually dead and messages about it can be heard when playing certain beetles songs backwards.
The "Treehouse of horror is canon" is probably refferring to the segment in Treehouse of Horror 5 where Homer time travels with a toaster, causing many timeline altercations. The theory is that every treehouse takes place in a different one of these timelines, with most of the show following the main one. This also explains some continuity errors the show's had, such as inconsistent flashback episodes.

The reason the show has gone on so long is because it's a testing ground for new talent for fox animation. You can put a few new faces on a popular and established franchise and, with guidance, show them the ropes. Despite what they are going to do with the simpsons the show will still do mildly well as long as they stick to the script. With disney now owning fox... who knows how they are going to use the property.

I have to ask why the toaster theory isn't there, it's a pretty dark theory if you think about it, here's how my version goes:
season 6, ep 6 (treehouse 5) one of the stories of that episode has homer break the toaster, instead of a new one he fixes the toaster himself, only he inadvertently creates a time machine that can take him to the time of the dinosaurs and back, with the butterfly effect applying each time he goes to the past.
everything homer does each time he's in the past changes the entire world in the present, having him return to a vastly different timeline. at the end of the segment, homer settles for a timeline that resembles his own but isn't, as the family eat dinner with creepy forked lizard tongues.
the toaster theory would be that this segment is canon, homer did in fact never return to his own timeline and lives in a timeline he is aware isn't his own. over time, homer gets a runaway sense of Capgras Syndrome, where he would feel his family and friends are replaced with doubles, imposters and that these are not the people he cares about, this would actually be true though as they are a different timeline version of his friends and family, this runaway Capgras effect would result in homer distancing himself from the people around him
this would make homer more cold and cruel than he was before and throw himself into dumber and more absurd plots as he no longer cares how these "imposters" see him, what he does to them or what happens to them. Why should he care? these are just people who look like his loved ones, they are not the real thing. I don't exactly have an explanation for homer's constant status quo, but it could be that the characters of the timeline homer settled in become use to how he acts and as such never create any sense of consequence for him, homer is not in the state of mind to learn from consequence

Dead Bart should've been higher on the iceberg. Like, it's common knowledge in the creepypasta fandom.
Also, idk if stuff like Bart dressing up like a girl or him not feeling much of anything in front of the billboard mean he's gay persay. Bart's a hooligan, and he often likes to break the rules and defy social norms to begin with. As a result, he would've dressed up as a girl as an act of child-like rebellion, like a lot of his other stunts. I mean, Bart's a 90's kid, rebellion is kind of in their DNA. As for the billboard, Bart's been seen before to have attraction to women (such as Jessica Lovejoy or Laura Powers). The billboard scene just means Bart likes teenage girls and women his age. Like, god knows i personally didn't start developing feelings for adult women until i was already in middle school (or men until I was entering college). Bart's an elementary school student, why would he have any reason to have feelings for sleazy adult women at his age? The ballet episode you could maybe argue, but I'm pretty sure the point of that episode was to explore Bart's feminine side so to speak, not about exploring his sexuality in particular.

The original line goes as follows.
"If I should die before I wake, I beg the Lord my soul to take, Amen."
So, the Clown-Bed is mocking that line to frighten Bart, implying it'll kill him.
