Excited for Jake Bates. Ever since we lost Matt Prater its been a rough ride. Would be nice to have a kicker with a 55+ yard range, extends the field and opens the playbook.

I can't believe they were able to do it. I thought for sure Jake would be bid on by other teams and he'd go closer to his home. Brad still cookin. It would be nice if he kicks a 60+ yarder against Ravens to win it.

But honestly why would he? He literally kicked the 64 yarder in ford field, why not play for the team that was literally their home stadium? They are hopefully gonna be good next year! 🤞🏻 plus he doesn’t have to move, to me that’s a no brainer!

The Badgley hate is a joke - dude made every fg in the playoffs, including a 54 yarder to beat the Rams, and has a much higher fg % than Bates...and oh yeah, that was in the NFL for a coach who will go for it other than kick a 60+ yarder! I get this is a talking point for talk radio/pods, but this fanbase is easily mesmerized by shiny things (ref: Hooker starting this season 🤣)
