I can appreciate a fan's optimism, BUT , Caleb Williams hasn't even taken a snap in an NFL game yet. Not every rookie Quarterback can duplicate what CJ Stroud did with the Texans last season
Case in point, Bryce Young. Not that he isn’t going to be good but that’s a lot to put on a rookie in year one.

I’m a Lions fan and I think getting rid of Fields was not just a mistake but a slap in the face! Dude never had a chance, multiple offensive schemes, 1 coach to the next, plus never had a weapon on offense until last year with DJ. Before the draft even started I believe and still do that Caleb is and will be a bust. I hope I’m wrong! I just have that feeling plus what I’ve seen him do and not do.

Adam Rank’s Lions record is the worst case scenario. We will be 10-7 minimum next year. His Bears prediction is the best case scenario for the Bears and assuming Caleb Williams will be incredible out of the gate
I think 11-6 is the Lions' worst case scenario. That's assuming multiple major injuries. Best case is probably 15-2. 13-4 is probably likely for the Lions.
How does this guy have a platform? Caleb isn't going to push the bears to 12 wins. He couldn't do it at USC and he won't do it with a bears team with no identity. On top of that, the bears haven't proven they can develop a young qb. Mitch... nope, Justin fields? That experiment was a laugh, now Caleb Williams? Lions will win the NFC north.
Bears: Rookie QB. Definitely not as talented as C.J. Stroud. The corners Detriot has will eat the Bear's lunch.
Vikings: No good QB. Developmental Rookie QB. Will definitely not start. Subpar QB play.
Packers: They will eventually beat themselves with stupid plays and penalties. Best 2 QB in the division. However, everyone else around him will lose the game.
If Rank was a weatherman he would look outside before his weather cast, see that it's gra & raining (even the radar says it will rain all day) and then say today will be sunny and 90.

The division lends to itself where the teams beat up on each other. Since every team has improved, the Lions will win by 1.5 - 2. Possibly Bears/Packers get a wildcard.

The only argument on the Bears sweep I could entertain is that they let the first meet-up last year go away. As for the rest of the record for the Lions I just cannot see personally
Without having seen any of their rookies play the one thing you can say CHI has going for them is strength of schedule. Currently they have the third easiest. GB is 19, DET 21 and MIN is 29. Really that comes down to a 3 game difference in opponents. CHI's rookies are going to have to learn fast to take enough advantage of that to win the North.
There was zero explanation of the sweep of the Lions because there is zero credibility in it.
Teams in division play same teams except for 2 of them.
Lions play 2 first place teams and Bears play 2 last place teams from last year.

I do think Chicago will be better maybe even better than GB, but bettering Lions who are on upward trajectory for last 2-3 years and build a team on character, chicago hasn’t paid their dues yet

The bears won 7/8 quarters against the lions last year. Nearly swept them. So if Caleb is better, we now have Keenan Allen, our defense is returning 97% of starters. Y’all are so biased.

Lions do suck on Thanksgiving, Chicago, in December. Last year the Bears beat the Lions 7 out of 8 quarters with Fields. So it's possible.

So, most talking heads haven't done their homework on Detroit. I think most people focus on their team, and EVERYBODY thinks their team got better. I'd do a position by position depth chart analysis vs any team. I just watched a video on the projected 53... Detroit's depth is unreal. I'm not sweating these stupid predictions. What I wonder about is HOW MUCH we're going to win by, not whether we'll win. Half our games could be blow outs.
I'd expect Goff to throw another 7 picks in two games again. The Bears and Eberflus have Goff and Johnson pegged. The Bears outplayed them to the extent Lions fans were making videos begging to trade for Fields.

During a very bad stretch of Lions play (where they were plagued with offensive line injuries). After they lost to the Bears they got pissed and did not lose again until the NFC Championship.
