- Dan Campbell is the head coach for the Detroit Lions, an NFL Football team who have struggled to find success for many decades. When he first took the podium, everyone questioned his leadership style. However, after a few seasons, he turned the Detroit Lions football program completely around and had them finding success they haven't had in a very long time. His vision, building a brotherhood in the locker room, and having a top down approach has been nothing but successful. After a few seasons, he took the Detroit Lions to the NFC Championship, something the Lions have not accomplished in over 30 years. Enjoy!

I am 1000% a Dan Campbell fan. Rasheed Wallace from the Pistons years ago said, "Ball don't lie" Dan Campbell has shown that, 3 seasons with consistent improvement, and came within spitting distance of a Super Bowl. And I believe this year will be even better. Let's go Lions!!!

SHIELA - I still remember Shiela talking to reporters mid season of their second year when people began talking about needing to fire Dan. She looked them in the eye and told the reporters that Brad a Dan are her guys and that she believed in them and their process, She stated she expected winning to begin very soon. We almost made it to the play offs that year. Shiela is a woman of vision. Grateful for an owner that as great vision and leadership!

I remember Detroit being 1 of 32 NFL teams. We never got talked about unless it was the Refs fuckin us over, and even then it was a 3 minute segment. Now to see so much content, so much hype, and to actually feel it too. Detroits changing, its getting better and I love watching my once great city rebound

I just wish my dad was still alive to see his Lions now. He passed away 3 years ago at 88 years old. He was a Lions fan from when he was a little boy. He was so loyal to them even when they were losing. He would have been so over joyed to see them play like they do now. I am taking his place now and am so totally into the team and supporting them. Go Lions!

You know what my brother? Detroit Lions fans will watch this video, and still go out and think we have to have this player or that player to take us over the hump. That means they totally missed the point of your beautiful video. We are a brotherhood now, made up of compatibility. Our coaches are all made up of compatibility. Our front office is all made up of compatibility. We're not just looking for the top 10 dude in the league, or in the draft to come here. If you're not made up of the qualifying factors of a Detroit Lion, then you don't belong here. I just don't understand why the majority of our fanbase doesn't see that yet. I just don't. We have visions for everyone on our roster and practice squad who make it each year. Pay attention people, instead of living in some make-believe Madden universe. I'm not a Lions fan but I got the 'Inside the Den: 2023 season Recap' recommended to me, watched the whole 90 minutes and loved it - now here I am, watching more Lions content - gotta respect and admire Dan Campbell and his young team for what they are doing - they're definitely my NFC team!

I bought into Brad and Dan in 2021 when they were hired as a 40 plus year Lions fan. I became a season ticket holder in 2021. I upgraded my seats 2022 . I went to the Lions vs the Packers game in Jan 2023 to watch them keep the packer out of the playoffs, seats at the 50 yard line row one beat them. I then went to the Lions vs Chiefs game to start the 2023 seasons. They maybe haven’t been to the Super Bowl yet, but they will. GO LIONS!!!!

Dan's introductory press conference still fires me up. He IS a great leader of men. Now that AG has a lot more pieces on defense, this team looks really scary. The young core now has playoff experience, and not just a token wild card appearance. They won two games and were 30 minutes away from the Super Bowl. I think they fear no one. I can HONESTLY say I believed in Dan and Brad from day one. My family thought I was nuts . But you could see the team fight in the first season . And it's been steady improvement since.

This is the best MCDC video I have seen since it is the only one, that I know of, which focuses specifically on his leadership. When this is all said and done, Dan Campbell has a chance to go down as one of the the greatest examples of leadership in sports history.

The greatest move Sheila did when she finally got to run the team that she always loved, was making a call to Chris Speilman. He helped her pick all the right pieces. Always admired Speilman, he went through some very tough challenges. It broke my heart when his wife passed away. Incredible human being.

To do what they have done, to so completely turn the ship around and become this cohesive skilled group that wins, and to do it in such a short time is incredible. I know other teams have turned around from losing quickly too and even faster than we did, but not with our history. Not with 60 years of baggage and hell being drug along.
To really think about it, Sheila took over a team that was saddled with bad contracts, little true talent. No self respect or esteem, no one working together in the front offices. And she changed that whole vibe promoting working together and identifying good people, hiring them, giving them the tools to work and letting them do their jobs. And standing by them.
Holmes took over a team that was a mountain of bad with no talent for scouting talent and the right guys. And overnight it felt like he righted the ship and drafted us so many guys that are so exciting to watch, talented and the right mindset. Cleaned up the contracts to have us set to be able to keep our core together for a long time. And works so well with Campbell like they've worked together forever.
And Campbell, what a freaking dude. To take over the worst culture, so many years of failure. And to embrace the challenge and to do what he's done to make us a winner, a place people want to come to. He makes us all want to suit up and run through walls all day for him.
To be a fan through so much suck and to now get to experience success, so thankful those 3 came together with the vision and leadership to make this happen.

I don't like Dan Cambell...I Love Him! Shelia, Brad, and Chris deserve a lot of credit in turning our franchise around, but MCDC IS the tone setter for this team. His vision for his staff and his players and how he wants them to function in their collective units and as a whole is something special to watch on game day. The passion, the grit, the toughness, the energy, the physicality, the scheme, the execution on the field is high level because they have set a high standard for themselves and hold each other accountable each and every day.
This team at this point in time reminds me of the 87' Detroit Pistons and the 95' Red Wings. Both franchises had to shake off that losing stigma. It all started with ownership, having the right GM and Head Coach, and finding the players who love to play, who love to play for each other, who love to fight, won't except losing, and have the will to persevere through all adversity and finally win. The Pistons and Red Wings lost in horrific fashion those years trying to win a championship, but they never folded. They never lost sight on the main goal, to become champions. Each team went on to win multiple championships, and here's hoping the Detroit Lions can win their first Super Bowl in 2024 after having suffered the heartbreaking defeat in 2023. I know they have it in them to do it.

Dan and Brad get it. They know that Football Character, GRIT, Matters. It’s a force multiplier. All these players at this level have talent. It’s the intestinal fortitude, the never say die, the work effort, the 200 on the Juggs machine, that makes the difference. Anyone who says that’s just coach speak, that it doesn’t matter, has never been a part of a real team, a real family. They just don’t get it and never will. They are the ones still stuck in SOL land. And that’s a them problem. I know I’m right, I’ve been there on a team of gritty class C HS players that damn near upset the class B team to advance to the class A big Boys from Brother Rice for the Catholic league state championship. That team scared them so bad they changed the playoffs after ‘75,,,,, forever. This team, this time, this place, this leadership…. They are special. SB or Bust #OnePride #LetsGoLions
