The lions do not need a Higgins or an Aiyuk. What they need is a solid WR3 with a big body for contested catches, summing maybe 500-650 yards. But they do not need another 1400 yard 30 million $ receiver. Jamo will suprise people this year as our WR2. Do we have our WR3?? Remains to be seen. But people must realize you can not have a whole team of pro bowlers. You have to have quality role players. If a change has to be made...Brad will make it.

10% and DPJ fits exactly that role. Also people forget about Kalif, he’s going to have a big role as well. Ultimately the lions don’t want to go 3 wide all the time, they’re going to use 2TE & 2RB alignments a lot and in those situations your WR3 is sitting on the bench
Your description of the Celtics reminds me of the 2004 Pistons, lots of very good players, no nationally recognized superstars and played a ton of defense

We essentially have 3 receivers currently on the team to play X receiver. Now obviously I'd prefer DJ chark on this team or someone his size. He's 6'4" 210 to 220. Jamo, peoples Jones and Antoine green are all pretty close. I believe green is the taller of the 3 and closer to 6'2.5-3" and 215. Peoples Jones has the big body to block out defenders and has speed. Jamo has crazy speed and has improved everywhere

No. Thank you for being sane about this. I can't stand all the Lions YT channels talking about how the Lions "should" sign Aiyuk or Higgins. 1. They just gave out massive contracts. 2. Our WR group is FINE! 3. Sam LaPorta 4. Many other reasons including the Lions only want Lions.
It was like some other Lions guy talking about, "What are they gonna do? You guys think they're gonna keep 3 kickers on the roster?" Like c'mon do these people not know anything about how NFL teams operate, let alone our own freakin team?? It's just ridiculous at this point. The Lions made the NFC Championship last year and almost won. Their roster got BETTER. We don't need anyone else!
These casuals think we can have All-pros at every position. Nothing is ever good enough. Lets see what the guys on this roster can do. If we are underperforming by the trade deadline we can revisit this

A non casual looks at the 49ers and sees how they went out and got Young, how they traded for CMC, how they drafted a WR highly, how they have never closed the door on a guy. The Rams a couple years ago did the same. They signed Wagner, traded for Stafford, added OBJ-
For a “not casual”, you miss how all these hosts are talking about is a perpetual build that doesn’t stop when the fans think it’s good enough.

Aiyuk for Williams won't happen because its financially not feasible, but if it were the 49ers would have to give the Lions a pick because of the contract situations.
You mentioned rivalry. I think we are headed Into an intense rivalry for four or five years with the Green Bay Packers and it is going to be intense.
We need to save the money to extend Hutch, Decker and hopefully Jamo.
