    Congrats beautiful !! You did a good job !
    I started mine on Feb 5th using the interlocking Method . Also started on 3-4 inches of hair so it’s a huge adjustment for me but I am loving the journey so far ☺️

    Your puppy is so freakin cute!! YAY! Congrats on the start of your loc journey. Like you, i had been natural for over 14 years and had every style, even chopped it all off and grew it back out. My hair was past bra strap length and i needed something else because as you said wash day!! 😂 so it was either cut it off again or loc it because it's something i never did. I loved faux locs on me and i decide in may 2019 to loc. Loved my decision ever since. I make my own leave in but the base is aloe vera juice and you can buy a big jug at walmart. My whole family of 6 uses it (i'm the only locd) Good luck on your journey. I'm sure you will love it!💙

      Thank you so much! I am already so in love with my hair! Making a leave-in sounds amazing! What else do you put in with the aloe?

      @@Loa.Dreamer glycerin, my fav essential oil (personal pref for whatever scent you want it to have), and jojoba/almond oil. I usually use the jojoba but will interchange with almond oil. sometimes i will add tea tree oil for shelf life however because my whole family uses it it doesn't last past 1 week/ 1 week and a half so it's not necessary. You never have to worry about any build up. i use this daily!

    You have a head full of beautiful locs! I started my micro Loc journey on May 2nd. I use the rose water and an oil my loctician made! They smell and feel amazing! Best Decision Ever!! ❤

    Hi , how did you decide the size and part of your hair , or could this be part anyway you want it? Your hair looks so gorgeous

    • @Loa.Dreamer
      @Loa.Dreamer  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much! It can be any size you want, but you want to be sure that the base of the loc matches your hair texture. I watched different videos about starting locs to be safe. I didn’t follow any sizing chart or anything. I just knew that I wanted them to be pretty small, because my hair is thick, and I wanted them to be full when they mature.

      Loc twins! It would have taken me soooo long to do braids! They don't shrink up as much as twists do.

    Depending on your hair type you will still experience A LOT of shrinkage 😂 almost every one with 4 type hair think just because they start off with medium/long hair their starter locs will stay like that 😂we all wish it work like that lol (not targeted to creator just saying)
