Taylor Farm Park in Sandston expected to open in summer 2024

Taylor Farm Park, a 99-acre park under construction off Williamsburg Road in Sandston, is on track to open in summer 2024. It's one of several park projects funded through Henrico County's 2016 bond referendum and will include such amenities as a memorial garden and event lawn, an active sports area, a nature-based play and exploration area and an asphalt nature circuit with connectivity to surrounding neighborhoods.
A community celebration is planned when the park opens "so everyone can come out and see what a wonderful new space they have to enjoy," said Pam Kempf, a spokeswoman for the Division of Recreation & Parks.
