"Swan Song" with Chopin intro & [cc] lyrics ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html (btw, full set of 88 keys, but electronic. Miyako said she prefers a "real piano" and they provided one for the Heavy Metal Never Dies show. I can hear the difference, though nothing detracts from the Five of a Kind performance.)
I think their music video for the song When Destinies Align is good. They switch between their dresses and Japanese warrior outfits. If you want to see another video of them playing live you should check out Thunder Vengeance.

Love watching you lift off watching the ladies. Not the best metal band of this generation. The best band, of any genre, ever. I’m 62 and have seen the greats of rock and metal. As a complete, tick-all-the-boxes band, Lovebites are untouchable. Not just because of their awesome, almost superhuman talents, but because they are friendly, down to earth, self effacing and in concert they always thoroughly enjoy themselves, which is infectious for the audience and anyone watching a recording. They blew my mind 18 months ago and I’ve been totally smitten ever since. Thank you for helping spread the word. That they aren’t household names is a crime.
I agree with you regarding Japan!! I have not seen such a revival of the music since the late 70's &80's when punk and British metal stormed the world!! I've been round the block and the world and Lovebites are the type of band I have been craving to see in the last 40 years. They are perfection and I am glad to be still around to see it 😎🤟
There's so much to choose from but one of my favorites is Empty Daydream. I personally think they don't have a song you'd dislike! Keep on going down the rabbit hole. I did so last year. So glad I did!
Wow! Another cool reaction from you! Wonderful! The black-haired guitarist is Miako. I think she is the "soul of the band" behind the scene - always have fun and very active. But on the stage she is very concentrated. The next song? You should check "Swan Song" (with Chopin Intro) not on their oficial channel. You will be impressed! Thank you for your reaction. I am waiting for the first reaction to Wagakki Band!

I'm not completely sold on your "best in the world" comment. I would love to see a survey or some kind of comparison from pro musicians regarding the Midori/Miyako vs Saki/Hazuki guitar duos. I'm not a musician but I've been listening to rock and metal for 50 yrs now and I know what I LIKE. I'm partial to Saki and Hazuki but this song was a pretty impressive display by Midori and Miyako. Actually, I can't even decide on EVH vs Joe Satriani as GOAT so wtf do I know?
Miho, one of the founding members and bassist performed with Lovebites for the last time in this concert. Lovebites announced auditions for a new bassist about a month ago after taking a hiatus. Hopefully that also means they have one or more new songs in development for the new bassist to step into production on.

Agree 👸ASAM I's 🩰🎤🔥vocals in this band are bloody perfect. What is going on in Japan with these all-female, and female-fronted/mixed bands in Japan? Not entirely sure but seeing comments that the country places a high value on the arts in their school system programs, coupled with the tendency of the females to join those arts clubs, vs the males tending to join the sports clubs. Magnifying this with the music industry in general is more inviting to females than the business industries, from posts I've seen anyway, may have something to do with this phenomenon. No matter the reason, what is crystal clear is these ladies from Japan are practically dominating every genre of music right now. Just my thoughts 🤘🐺🤘
That makes a lot of sense WW, and i'm glad a lot of these women gravitate towards rock and metal and not J-pop. The world is a much better place for it ! 🤘🐺🤘
What you wrote is spot on. Another thing to consider is the cultural shift happening in Japan. Japan has always been a society known for conformity. The 30 and under generation are striving to have their voices heard and in a bit of rebellious way (nicely of course as it is Japan lol) are after uniqueness. That’s why you see all these bands that are not only insanely talented but they each have their own persona. As a person who dislikes the concept of competition in music (this band/musician is better than that one attitude) I find it very refreshing.
@@RobinC63 Thanks, so refreshing indeed and to your point...how awesome is it how these bands support each other, vs being rivals !! Seeing accounts from NAONのYAON how artists from other bands will sit on each others sets when their own band member are out of pocket, or just mix matching on different collaborations to boost each other. The legend bands supporting the up and comers like in the Zepp series in Jun is pretty damn awesome and I'm here for it. Not pretending to understand Japanese culture, but it seems the work ethic that is instilled and how these artists will always vow to ~do their best seems like a culture norm recipe for success right there. Makes me excited for the future of music in Japan.
The black hair guitarist is the "Golden Child" Miyako, who composed the song. Asami (vocals) wrote the lyrics. If you look closely at Miyako, she is not wearing heels, she is 3 to 4 months pregnant!! Miyako began piano at 3yo, picked up the guitar at 17/18yo. No lessons!! Midori, ponytail, began guitar at 20yo. Midori goes to Miyako's home studio so they can practice/rehearse, ensuring they are in sync. First always remember that, "Japan is another World on the planet Earth". It isn't the water, It's the culture!! Talent is recognized early and encouraged. Most of the band members in Rock/Metal took music lessons as early as 3, also there are schools for kids as young as 5yo in dance and vocals. The beautiful young ladies of Babymetal were performing on stage at 6yo.
Thanks for coming back to Lovebites, if you want brutal song like this check out their song called "Break The Wall" Or if you want progressive song check out: Frozen Serenade, Edge Of The World Thanks
Strict restrictions on the audience here due to covid..Thats Miyako (The Golden Touch) with the dark hair..She let's her fingers do the talking, whether shes on guitar or keyboards, her soul shines through (she does move around much more though, just not near as much as the rest) and she's about 6 months along with child at this concert..notice the rest are in heels, while she's wearing flats.. taking it it a little easier on herself..
Thanks for more LOVEBITES! For a bit of Midori & Miyako's 'offstage' persona, demonstrating some guitar parts from their (at the time, July 2018) forthcoming EP, Battle Against Damnation, be sure to turn on [cc] for English translation. ruclips.net/video/uVy45WMBrQQ/видео.html These 5 women are not only virtuosos, but a total JOY to get acquainted with. Maybe have your wife join you to watch.
ANY song is good for a reaction - preferably live. but one official mv you may want to check out is 'when destinies align'. amazing song and camerawork and you get to see the samurai warrior side of our princesses . along with an epic guitar solo for the ages : ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html
When you talk of Miyako standing still and emotionless on stage abit like Tony Iommi from black sabbath, take a look at a 2018 gig in Islington London and it is a party!! The movement on stage by Miyako was surprising. Though I think I know why they are a bit more rigid after watching their whole show, that's my opinion. You should look at it 😎🤟
Love your comment, you muast see Break the wall from lovebites & you will get shock because the different style guitar solo. I will be wait for the next time
The girl on the right with the long black hair her name is Miyako she was classical pianist when she was three and she picked up the guitar I think when she was 16 if you listen to her play Chopin on the piano and then she gets up and plays the guitar you will hear parts of it on the guitar you have to listen you doing great reaction all these girls are great I felt the same way when I first seen them but I've been watching them for like 5 years I couldn't get anybody else to listen to oh man I want to listen to Metallica let's listen to The Beatles they were good too these girls are friends with Metallica they open for them or something and Judas priest that's their idols
I am so happy to hear you say that Asami has the best metal vocals because she does, the four women who chose Asami knew exactly what they wanted. Back in 2017 through 2019, there was a lot of hate for Asami's vocals many of the hypocrites of today have swallowed their negative crap and realized her power as a frontwoman. I fought against many of these guys and made them see with names of the past that have the same caliber of vocals, like Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, and Bruce Dickinson and she represents a league of singers that are the ultimate for metal. The dark-haired guitarist is Miyako aka "the golden touch" is the one who writes and composed 50% of their songs and she infuses the classical elements into her writing, btw she was pregnant during that concert. yeah, many have given you band maid but not for me I prefer Mardelas and Bridear even a Canadian band called Motion Device is far better than band maid IMO and I don't care who gets all pissy and begins whining like a little girl. Just checked out your channel and playlist and see you also like some South Korean stuff and that is awesome I too am crazy about certain South Korean singers. Man I am forgetting to add two other bands you need to check out as well (VOB)Voice of Baceprot "Indonesia", and The Warning "Mexico" much better hard rock for me
You are absolutely right about Asami, when I discovered LOVEBITES, I immediately fell in love with all the members of the band, but Asami is very special to me, her voice triggers something in my brain that I can't explain, it's very powerful, and addictive to listen to. 😌🤘
There are songs where Asami sounds absolutely amazing and beautiful, phenomenal even. But there are some where she just sounds OK, and could be better. But I don't mind at all because the band's musicianship is so above everything else out there that I love ALL their songs. Asami is an amazing frontwoman on stage and knows how to involve the crowd. She was born to be in front of a crowd. She is so charming and sweet. I just wish her vocals were more consistent to be honest.
I truly think, if it's at all possible that you do a live stream of the whole concert. It's the best DVD I have brought in 20 years, it's fu&&@@g top drawer mate. It would be a spectacular hour and 40 odd mini 🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘👍

Glad you (and your wife) are loving the Pandora's Box of Japanese Metal and Rock you've opened up! Other Lovebites recommendations would have to include...everything. Same advice I might have given you for Band-Maid and BabyMetal, now I think about it. Also the same advice applies to Ningen Isu - 3 very Metal blokes just for a change! - ( 'Heartless Scat' ruclips.net/video/CbI79e5iZKs/видео.html ) and the Wagakki Band ('Homura'/'Akatsuki No Ito' ruclips.net/video/ponTbDDMYjw/видео.html ). And if you want to try outside of Japan but still want all female class Metal and Rock bands, try The Warning, three sisters from Mexico who have just finished supporting the Foo Fighters. Again, gotta recommend the live performances as they are amazing ('Animosity', live sessions - ruclips.net/video/3bQIYYmDyII/видео.html ).
Miyako, the "stone faced" guitarist also is a world class concert pianist.

LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics:
The blue moon colors the blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and a fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell
Distorted madness is sneering
Incompetent, cowardly fools
A pitiful and painful punishment
It’s you who will be sacrificed
ON FIRE
Dressed in an armor of steel
ON FIRE
If I’m burned again and again
I’ll rise up from the Gates of Hell
The blue moon colors blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell

When recommending this song always steer them away from Bloodstock and tell them to use this link: ruclips.net/video/otJZPUCwyOM/видео.html
@@LovebitesFanForLife Spot on 👍No Bloodstock
@@LovebitesFanForLife Agreed..
i always love it when reactors see there real skills
Strict restrictions on the audience here due to covid..Thats Miyako (The Golden Touch) with the dark hair..She let's her fingers do the talking, whether shes on guitar or keyboards, her soul shines through (she does move around much more though, just not near as much as the rest) and she's about 6 months along with child at this concert..notice the rest are in heels, while she's wearing flats.. taking it it a little easier on herself..
Oh wow, that's incredible!!!
Great reaction! "The Crusade" is more like an Iron Maiden song. Also try another Japanese metal band "Unlucky Morpheus." You'll love them, too! 🤘
💯❤️🤘🤘
Next song? As I mentioned before, get your seat belt installed for their performance of Scream for Me.
😮
Thanks for more LOVEBITES! For a bit of Midori & Miyako's 'offstage' persona, demonstrating some guitar parts from their (at the time, July 2018) forthcoming EP, Battle Against Damnation, be sure to turn on [cc] for English translation.

These 5 women are not only virtuosos, but a total JOY to get acquainted with. Maybe have your wife join you to watch.
My favorite of them probably Wind of Transylvania, they hit those high notes badassly and the song theme suit them too
When destinies align, Shadowmaker or glory to the world. Both musicvideo or live in the same concert as this track. Also Rising, my favourite.
😮🤘
great reaction best metal band in the world now bar none
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Check out "Edge of the World" - for me its one of the Top5 Metal Songs of all time!

Break the wall for amazing guitar solos..or when destinies align for near no ending guitar solos😁
Will definitely check it out 🤘
Another awesome song is "Scream for me" Guitar solo's for day's.
Next song I suggest Break the Wall, live 2020!! HG left you links at your Holy War reaction!! Enjoy 🤘🐺🤘
👍Break the Wall = Thrash Heaven
+1 for BREAK THE WALL
Yes please 🙏
Thank you! And okay! 🤘
You should look at it 😎🤟
More lovebites! And time to add Unlucky Morpheus to your list of awesome japanese metal.
Lovebites 🤘🐺🤘
🤘🤘🤘
Wait till you see the black haired girl playing the piano... ... ... ...
Btw, guess how tall the drummer is...
Man I am forgetting to add two other bands you need to check out as well (VOB)Voice of Baceprot "Indonesia", and The Warning "Mexico" much better hard rock for me
Me too...I love Asami's voice.
You are absolutely right about Asami, when I discovered LOVEBITES, I immediately fell in love with all the members of the band, but Asami is very special to me, her voice triggers something in my brain that I can't explain, it's very powerful, and addictive to listen to. 😌🤘
Asami is Amazing, always loved her voice.
Yeah. Lovebites wouldn't be Lovebites without Asami's voice. Besides the absolute greatness of the other members it makes them even more outstanding!
Swan song is the one I would recomend it, I am sure you will love it.
Bro, after found out LOVEBITES, NEMOPHILA, BAND-MAID, now check out HANABIE song We Love Sweets
💯💯💯
Next up... Edge of the World.
🤘🤘
I truly think, if it's at all possible that you do a live stream of the whole concert. It's the best DVD I have brought in 20 years, it's fu&&@@g top drawer mate. It would be a spectacular hour and 40 odd mini 🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘👍
Guys need to step up, THIS is a benchmark now
Time to check out Epica and also Unleash the Archers.
You don’t appear to have got to Hanabie yet… Hanabie = Harajukucore = 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also, if power metal is your thing, you need to catch up with the OGs of this genre - Aldious. They started this wave with their album Deep Exceed and they have been making some of the best music in the genre ever since. That’s a pun - Eversince is one of their songs, but you don’t know that… yet. 😜
Definitely on fire!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 These ladies are crazy good! 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻 Great reaction! #Wafflegang ❤️

+1 for BREAK THE WALL
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
if i'm not mistaken the black hair lady got Deep Purple influence from her mother and maybe that's why she (probably) doesn't do metal stands like the other players or just she is what she is
Miho Miho Miho!
OK but some parts of the song reminded me of Slayer, good stuff.
Damn that's high praise! Love it 🤘

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💖
You should check out Tommy Johansson.
Happy to
