Transformers Unicron Backup AI (Unused Function)

Traditionally, Unicron will travel to fifteen set locations on Cybertron in order to attack. If Unicron's pathfinding fails and cannot locate these locations, Unicron will resort to a backup system where it will find a random location within a small distance of itself and begin its attack. Unicron will also no longer do its random route changes during later phases.
Recorded using PCSX2, emulation errors are to be expected.

To say that triggering this in an unmodified game would change the way this game’s speedrun is played forever is a massive understatement. Unicron’s randomness is extremely bullshit and heavily discouraging to runners new and old. Having the only truly random portion of the game become a victory lap sounds like a dream come true, thus why there’s actually a $75 bounty at the moment if anyone can manage to make this currently unused function turn into a used function.
But… so far, we have no leads. Just this “what if?” scenario. Oh well.
