I agree with this being the S tier way to run the crime lord. It makes for a solid A tier blade dancer as well with the extra dodge, damage from weapon skill, and drukari blades just make it so damn good the pyromancer aspect just seems redundant.
Dual pistol fortress world soldier would be much better. Go into bounty hunter to refresh pair holster uses. It also will proc never stop shooting more
What do you think of a Shotgun or Flamer based Operative with Intimidate? Tactical Knowledge for armor and Intimidate to lower damage output. Could make for a more front line Operative. Especially going into Executioner's talent that gives defenses based on status effects on enemies. Edit: Wait does Tactical Knowledge only grant allies armor? Not you?
Grants everyone armour. Operatives are a multi attribute dependant class. You want INT. PER. Then like BS to land shots. Then you either need STR for heavy armour or AGI for dodging. Not to mention TGH if you are at the front. All those requirements is what puts me off having them up front when soldier can double shotgun damage, has many talents that buff area damage and is just reliant on BS. PER is nice and can buff damage with deadly aim. But you can choose AGI or strength. Second skin can give full dodge in medium. Tl;Dr Probably doable but soldier is likely the more reliable choice

@Revan619 figured that was the case. I'm still going to test it at some point. There's enough items in the game to give it a shot.
What bugs me is how good pasqals power armour looks on him. I want a decent frontline melee operative, but it really gets squished

How did you managed to have a turn before Aurora? For me he always starts first and have to be very finicky about placing my team.
You can be level 16 thanks to the dlc
