To be fair most chatters/commenters are legitimate subhumans, good on legend for recognizing the rare moment when someone has a good point, not many content creators do that.
@@Ron_Jambo_ I don't give unwarranted advice to people who know more than me. Subhuman behaviour. So contextually I'll give you the advice of reading the situation.
It's lao just something useful to do. Arguing agaisnt yourself. If you're doing something/making something, say something about it that some whiny person would say. It gives you a kinda of reference/moment of reflection without the pressure/fear of *actual* public criticism. Not quite the same, but it does let you go "huh maybe they'd have a point." Or, as another person noted, most of the time go "Yeah no they'd just he whiny cunts" and keep on.
Of course we need a livestream! The best and most memorable campaigns on your channel were disaster livestreams. Clan Angrund, Orion in America, Tyrion with one city in the Border Princes... Man, those were the times :D
Yes, the audio is MUCH better balanced in this video. Great showcase this morning! Edit: But yes! Would definitely watch this if it were to turn into a Livestream!
I'm all for a livestream of this. And personally I find these types of "disasters" and migration type campaigns way more interesting than the normal ones, just because of the unique scenarios.
Would really like to see this as a livestream. Usually campaigns are most interesting in the first 20-40 (or whatever) turns, so a challenging situation in lategame is a much appreciated variety.
Would watch the livestream, its fun watching you really get into the mechanics of the diplomacy and other things you would not experience in your own campaigns.
Don’t have time to watch right now but looking forward to it. Love these long disasters that have been coming up recently, it’s ok watching Legend play his own, super optimal campaigns but I really enjoy watching him wrestle with a proper chaotic situation.
This was really entertaining! It really felt like you seriously enjoyed this one! The interesting campaigns are.. well, interesting. This would be fun as a livestream! Thank you for the content, legend!
I'm curently doing a one settlement Noctilus campaign, sailing the seas and privateering for any client that pays well enough and i gotta say its SUPER fun.
If I didn't have a job, 2 children, a wife being a bit unwell, miscellaneous chores to do, and an exercise schedule, I would go now play a tall Ungrim campaign, selling settlements to allies and having strong slayer armies smashing stuff around
Yes, a livestream makes sense, but editing the combat has been helpful. You need a 10X speed combat mod for this or something. Campagin objective should be confederate all dwarfs.
As far as things being "legit" or not, the main draw for me is seeing the inventive ways you overcome insurmountable odds. I don't really care how you get into those situations.
This campaign really reminds me of the old fun game gampaign scenarios we had in games like Command and Conquer, or Battle for Middle Earth. Too bad all we have with the base game is either IE, Vortex or Realms of Chaos
It looks to me like you are enjoying yourself with this situation. I really love watching you when you are having fun and im sure im not the only one. Which is why i would love to see you livestream this campaign im sure it'd be a fun little one shot.
At this point, the Book of Grudges at the central keep doesn't have a single grudge in it. It's not even an index. It contains the locations of the entire *libraries* where copies and archives of the grudges are laid out in painstaking details.
That was a good idea by the person who sent it in, a very interesting scenario. Even if you don't do a livestream continuing this, I'd like to see a couple of follow-up videos where you can edit out the foregone battles.
I respect that you care more about an interesting scenario rather than an authentic one. If memory serves the one man left and the crazy French debt disaster campaigns (both medieval II) were both fake but I still think about those sometimes, they were wildly entertaining
01:30 "If one of the Tomb Kings captures the Black Pyramid of Nagash" Fun Fact: if one of the Vampire Counts (most likely Mannfred) caputures it they get said crisis
I look at this as lore accurate, one last dwarf left on his empire to ACTUALLY do the age of reckoning from just grief and desolation, making him the strongest but the lonliest dwarf on his mountain
Yes I'd like to see a livestream of this. New campaigns sometimes aren't fun to watch because it takes eight hours to get the basics sorted. This campaign already has everything unlocked including new stuff no one has seen yet.
With turn 300 he could have abandoned the original settlement, went down to mount Gunbad, got the gold producing buildings + deep for +5% x turns passed and made a 100K per turn. That would have allowed him to field a lot of armies for maybe razing and removing factions from the game. 1500% income boost on mount Gunbad. Not that he needs this ofc but what an opportunity. Man, just thinking about it makes me want to try this out, though I'll probably dump the campaign at turn 50 😢 A dwarfen crusade with 1 settlement and 20+ armies going around razing stuff. @Legend: the grugni trait will apply same turn if you equip/unequip item/follower after recruitment. I save a bunch of builder lords and it works wonders in dwarf campaigns
Belegar campaign must be continued till the greatest miners meme stack with magical attack can be done. The ungrim campaign is also awesome because of good enemy ai units.
It would be interesting if CA created a scenario editor for these kind of challenges. Would make it easier to do than just play the games for hundred of turns to create teh desired situation. It would be fodder for nice videos like this !
31,500 groodges, all because Ostermark accidentally paid one penny short.
SHORT?!
NO ALLIANCE!!!!!!
Compound interest!
In a few more hundred years they will owe more grudges than all the hairs in all the beards of all the dwarfs to ever exist!
SHOOORT
Did we just witness the creation of a Tarriff video?
Reliability: Very High
They all might hate him and be in war with him but he's a man of his word.
Dwarf of his word.
He is reliably a badass whose gonna kick your ass
Hahahaha! Reliably kicks ass!
315,000 grudges to settle. That's gonna need a whole series of books in order to write them all down.
A song of Grudges and Grudges.
Why do you think woodelves hate the dwarfs? Imagine all the trees they cut down for that amount of paper
Thorge R.R. Martingrim couldn't finish that book
In wh fantasy, the digital age came about because the dwarfs needed harddrives to store all the grudges
The Great Library of Grudges
I think you should continue on this in a livestream! I think it is definitely worth for one stream.
Hope others will see it as the same
I do like to see this as a livestream but i dont really know what the objective would be.
@@Lasso1986 Hit gnollengrom? Confederate all the other legendary lords? Build all the unique deep buildings? Lots of different options!
Hell yeah!
100% should be at least 1 livestream.
Agreed, it's a neat a concept we haven't seen Legends play around with before.
i like it when legend mocks the comments and then has a moment of thought and thinks 'actually, thats a valid point', and then changes his mind
To be fair most chatters/commenters are legitimate subhumans, good on legend for recognizing the rare moment when someone has a good point, not many content creators do that.

Belegar : Cut down every tree the Wood Elves have.
Servant : Why my Lord?
Belegar : We're gonna need more paper.

9:18 behind every tree in the empire is a hellstorm rocket battery. Chaos factions know this very well.
Guess that was Pigeon Bomb.

"But Legend, they already have so much money. Take the option that gives you nothing!" 😂.
Legend, please upload this campaign for us to try as well. I think many of us would love the opportunity to play some of these scenarios.
Yes please mr legendary
Yeah, Legend do that please
This please
I got the file, where do you want it shared?
Just set it up yourself😂
One single Book of Grudges ain't gonna be enough for that many grudges.
Image all the blood infusions
Thorgrims Start settlement will become updated to the library of grudges
They shall convert it into weekly magazine
Are you implying the Book is too short? That goes in the book!
"What was that..? Don't think it was a rune of spite."
Narrator: It was, in fact, a rune of spite.
Yes, the audio is MUCH better balanced in this video. Great showcase this morning! Edit: But yes! Would definitely watch this if it were to turn into a Livestream!
Would definitely tune into a livestream for this. The creator of this campaign did such a great job setting this up with a simple concept!
Thank you:)
At 42:00 legend says, “I don’t think that was spite” it was in fact the master tune of spite
"All I see is grudges and dead men."
Legend - "And we don't want Belagar to have them." Dwarf lord - "I do!" 1:04:16

But Legend! The algorithm doesn't like long format videos!!! Can't understate how much I love all the "But Legend!!" in the videos.
9:20 pidgeon bomb, not hellstrom rocket battery

I'm curently doing a one settlement Noctilus campaign, sailing the seas and privateering for any client that pays well enough and i gotta say its SUPER fun.
best thermometer for how well the game is doing is legend's long videos!
Totally livestream worthy! So much work for the Slayer King)
Feels like a bonus game mode you’d see in older games. Settle some grudges and try to hit the high score!
I enjoyed the focus on the campaign map rather than the battles. It's a nice way to change things up every once in a while.
Would definitely be interesting to watch you continue this as the next Live stream. Great video as ever
Love this campaign of the isolated realm making it's way back on the map. This needs some more grudgin.
If I didn't have a job, 2 children, a wife being a bit unwell, miscellaneous chores to do, and an exercise schedule, I would go now play a tall Ungrim campaign, selling settlements to allies and having strong slayer armies smashing stuff around
I already commented about wanting this to go further, but honestly this is amazing legend, completaly "uncharted territory"
I really enjoy these "engineered disaster campaign" videos.
I would like to see legend just go balls to the wall with these 2 Million, raising as many armies as possible and settling grudges as fast as possible
That does really look like a fun live stream to work through!
Omg, this is so fun, really like it, great idea by whoever sent it in!
It'd definitely be awesome to see a livestream of this sort of thing, super entertaining to watch, and left me wanting more
Thats have to be the stirlands boiled beer
Man...380 turns and one settlement and one-man army. This man had dedication.
42:02 that was in fact a master rune of spite.
One Dwarf settles all Grudges - but the Book remains full
This was a really cool concept, and I would enjoy seeing more in the future. I bet some viewers would want to play these types of situations as well.
That awful moment when you accidentally remove a small air from a dwarf beard.
Livestream with this, yes!😊
Flashbacks to that campaign at the end of WH2 where THE ENTIRE WORLD was taken over by dinosaurs
Would love to see this continued

Really impressive demonstration of you knowledge of mechanics in a unique and interesting scenario. Nice work legend.
"90% ward save on a small target" SMALL???? IN THE BOOK FOR LIFE
21:55 @LegendofTotalWar It's not because of difficulty it's because they started their campaign before the max got changed in a patch.
It's a lot of fun to watch you work your way out of crazy "puzzles" like this! Livestream please :D

Live stream cheese for the livestream cheese god
I like the puzzle and campaign planning of this one with less time on battles and grinding money.
It whould be nice to see this continue on stream!
Took me a few days to get through it, but loved it, hoping to see it as a livestream!
