First Class was originally intended to be "X-Men Origins: Magneto". I guess they didn't think people would be interested in a whole movie just about young Magneto but if this was going to be the vibe throughout then I think it would've been a great movie, much as I enjoyed First Class.
Magneto: Nazi Hunter would be awesome. Also who cares about blood iron? If he's HUNTING THEM there's always going to be anything metal around them. Plus he's proven he can kill them with just a coin. All he needs to do is carry pocket change and he's armed.

Micheal is a fantastic Magneto. After seeing him I cannot see anyone else playing him. Ian portrayed him fantastically, a more aggressive & wise magneto. But Micheal portrayed what in my opinion is more accurate.
I would say it's more still waters run deep.. and his emotion is so subtle you have to watch him and ignore the text to really catch it... It's worth watching again.
Super Super Hero punisher is brutal, I'm talking sadistic serial killer brutal like Hannibal lecter without the cannibalism. Way more brutal than magneto. Wolverine is supposed to be as brutal as punisher but we don't get to see that on film

In both Spanish AND German! You can tell Magneto is even speaking European Spanish. In contrast, Kevin Bacon's German was sadly atrocious in this film. Points for trying, since German can be very difficult to pronounce like a native speaker, but could have used a few more weeks with a dialect coach.

Fassbender is just incredible as Magneto. Even the way he finishes his pint of beer in this scene. This is simply the best scene of all of the X-Men movies. Bryan Singer needs to stay away.

No matter who says what, this is the best X-Men movie ever made. It has everything: great characters (Sebastian Shawn is the most stylish villain I've ever seen), a good, well-paced story with all the necessary elements, including the introduction of the heroes, their backgrounds and motives, some epic clashes, a great deal of drama (Magneto's quest for the murderer of his mother), a breathtaking finale, and last but not least a marvellous soundtrack. It was perfect. i daresay it's the best comic movie ever made (no, it's not Watchmen).
The music makes this scene, the way it's building up is fantastic! Also it's a treat for us german viewers because we don't have to look at subtitles and are staying more immersed in the scene. :))

My favourites are the "They didn't have a name. It was taken from them, by pig farmers and tailors". Fassbender's very calmness and serenity betrays his ruthless and melevolent nature. Action wise that moment where he threw the knife into yer man and then it came back to him was gold.
