Cost of living is Monterrey expensive place to live in Mexico? Would I be able to find a studio apartment for $200 USD per month?. Is Monterrey safe city to live in?.
Finding 200usd per month is easier to find in the less desirable cities i would say (or the lower class neighborhoods in big cities which brings issues of safety into play)... Monterrey is quite expensive so yea I found the same prices as @wanderoc -around 500usd in the safer areas. However if you look hard enough you can find deals in smaller cities especially during low season (i found places for 200-300usd in Mazatlan/PV in Oct-Jan)
