Gino’s Garage-Brake Light Came On- Front Brakes on a 2016 Range Rover HSE TD6.

Changing the front brakes on a 2016 Range Rover TD6.
Here is the front brake kit I ordered (2 piston calipers):

I really should have ordered the entire front and rear brake kit, here is that kit:

The kit comes with a brake wear sensor which I would recommend replacing, the rear sensor on our SUV was bad and would not clear the pad wear warning. After we replaced the rear one the light went out.
I will note that when I ordered the rear brake kit, the sensor that came with the kit had gone under the rotor and was smashed to bits when it arrived.

Yea, I just do not like taking things in to get worked on. This vehicle needs to go into the dealer to have some warranty work done, thank goodness it has a full warranty.

@@GinosGarageUSA same here. Even the dealers , when they do cash work, hard to trust. We bought the extra 100k warranty and it’s paid off already. We just did the 50k service on them. Now we waiting on a recall to reprogram the CVT. Seems the tension is not right. We don’t feel anything so I bet we get a harsh shift after it’s done to save them from replacing it before 100K. Plan is to trade up to the new model when that happens lol , Subaru Ascent touring
