I recall sneaking up to the back of the emerald ranch house and hearing a woman’s voice saying something akin to:
“Please! Stop complaining and get dressed!” But it was in a hushed tone, like a mother speaking to a child.
Joshua could’ve gotten her pregnant, which explains why her father committed murder.
Dude, I heard the same whining voice... But I wasn't able to understand what she said. My theory is that she is the mother or the aunt of Miriam and act as a warden against her.
🤔
the woman in the window? @@sanmesalz1867
I don't think it was Joshua who got her pregnant.
@@Victoria-vd2li Then why else would Joshua be killed?
I have killed Eugene so many times, but he keeps coming back. It’s so frustrating that you can’t do anything about this.
Madam Nazar's clientele consists of individuals far from the ordinary.
They have the power of the plot armor.
We cannot stop this.
I once took his body to Mexico where those holes in the ground are and he crawled his ass back to his ranch.
"Somehow palpetine is back"
@@LifeSaloon "Ah, yes, 'Palpatine'. Well, we have dismissed that claim."
This editing style is amazing, and the voice over with the story makes this very subtle part of the game a masterpiece.
The voice of the summary is Max Payne in Max Payne 3.
I knew instantly it was Max Payne. Awesome stuff !!
It think it is all the games. I heard lines from Max Payne 1@@johnjassonalfiscar5635
What happens if you kill that NPC?
Lol not everything has to be a masterpiece bro. As if you even know what a masterpiece is 😂
If they released an expansion with all the cut content, with the option to complete the unfinished stories and solve the mysteries, I'd happily pay full price for the game again. Just imagine that we could deliver a letter to Mildred from the mystery of Lenora View, or complete the story of Emerald ranch, or, for example, find the kidnapped princess, or find the last meteorite to get some kind of trinket (it could, for example, signal with a specific buzzing sound when approaching hidden gold or something like that). In fact, the world of rdr2 has so much potential that it could all be connected to online easily and monetized, so that everyone would be satisfied.
I would really like some dlc with legendary horses for online. Imagine how you enter a saloon, and there some drunkard-hunter talks about a horse never seen before, fast as lightning and incredibly beautiful. And offers to sell you a location map for gold. They should be tracked just like legendary animals. Rockstar can make a competition to find unique horses as a random event. Each player could have a unique horse with a randomly generated color and with random characteristics. And once a week to do an event with a particularly legendary horse. Also make it possible to sell horses, or exchange for gold. At the same time, legendary horses take much longer and harder to tame, but give some special perks in return. These things can be monetized very easily: if you want to tame them faster, pay money. In general, horses are the best thing in this game, after the open world.
@@zastaryi I really like that idea of adding horse taming competitions!
And here I was, going to settle for them adding in horse taming! :)
I REALLY don't like the way Eugene dealt with this and I'm so saddened for Miriam. :/ To kill a person she loves AND to possess her in a home reeks of "If I can't have her, no one can" and the implications of what goes on behind closed doors worries me. We're already hearing comments about the father noting her beauty. If this backstory wasn't known, it'd be easy to dismiss it as basic father compliment. But his actions and reasoning paint a far darker picture. We already know he takes the liberty in beating her.
Yeah, this unsettles me too. That Eugene's a nasty piece of work all around. I wish Rockstar had given us the chance to deal with him as we see fit, because I've got a few creative ideas for dealing with him - would love to hand him to the Murfree Brood or the Skinner Brothers if that was possible, but since it isn't, I guess I'd just have to settle for throwing him to big unfriendly gator just outside Saint Denis, even if I do have to ride most of the way across the map for that.
It's sad that in spite of all the evidence of this, it doesnt lead to a sidequest to actually resolve it. Maybe even causing the saloon and store to reopen once the quest ends.
They probably wanted to but just ran out of time. That would be a cool spot that changes over time like Apple seed Timber and Leonard's Sod. Depending on your interactions.
@@Diggz24 I know the railway camp does, but what happens at Larned sod over time? I never really went there much.
True it has too much story behind it to have not had a side quest so it must just be one of the many unfortunately cut side quests that happens in games like this.
@@davidchambers44 you help out a father and his 2 sons get timber for a house they are framing. And you end up chasing off some scumbag o'Driscolls at one point. But when he finishes building the house you can collect money from him w interest. Lots of different options as well!
@@Diggz24 isn't that the house near valentine? The one in the video is at emerald ranch.
Wow man this was really well done. Love the idea of John taking out Eugene and freeing Miriam.
I would have loved if at epilogue you could see Pearson taking over the store and saloon on emerald, then if u complete the quest killing the owner and freed the daughter he became the owner of emerald ranch, instead of giving him the generale store in Rhodes wich i found it's a bit of a lazy choice
Satisyfing epic ending of justice and seeing Miriam finally free was epic. Strange Man is so good at making these vids it's as if he works for Rockstar or used to.. I wish Rockstar actually put an option in the game where you can really free Miriam and the ranch if you kill Eugene. I never knew about this story to the ranch, next time I play this game I am going straight there to kill that cunt Eugene slowly and painfully. Idk if there is a way to make him stop respawning but we can at least keep trying, lol.
It's just mind boggling how much content and realistic detail there is in this game, I mean 5 years old and STILL finding new entire backstories like this. This game is like a real world with so much scripted and unscripted content, it's just unbelievable. I don't understand people who don't think RDR2 is the greatest game ever made and how it didn't even win game of the year. God of War is awesome but it's so simplistic compared to RDR2 and not even in the same league.. God of War has an epic story and gameplay to go with that but RDR2 is like being inside a simulated universe of a western movie.
The Max Payne dialog is *chef's kiss*
This video is an absolute masterpiece!
Rdr2: the game that keeps on giving allmost 5 years later
Why not 🎉
It's GOTY all year every year
Its nothing new...
It's amazing how most of this stuff went over my head while I was playing. The amount of stories Rockstar created that the player isn't directly involved in but can still uncover is amazing. I made the mistake during my playthrough to assume a lot of NPC dialogue was just hollow words simply intended to set a tone and not necessarily to give clues to the player. I can't imagine how many people never had any idea the depth RDR2 had to it.
Dont blame yourself too much before this game NPCs acted that way this game literally changed that
i find strange man videos so calming for some reason
they're literally as good as sex
the only channel on yt allowed to send me notifications
watching it to fall asleep
I feel like he makes rdr kinda scary
Because nothing happens lol. Great for insomnia
The jump in quality from your first Emerald Ranch video to this one is insane.
Who else always kill Eugene (the father) when they see him for the first time in the story and everytime you pass by Emerald Ranch in Rdr Online. I can't be the only one
When completing the bandit challenge in tying up someone and putting them on the track. I always pick Eugene to do it too 😂
Does he always respawn ?
@@jupload6992 I believe he does.
Me too! I always fist fight whit him
Yup every time I’m at the ranch!
The massive amount of work you put into those minor mysteries is astonishing.
The Max Payne narration and the way Wegner met his end were nice touches.
This is why we wanted DLC, to do things like free Miriam. Regardless, I'm killing that old man, I didn't know that he was hitting her. Time for some justice.
Ending of this video is pure goosebumps... The editing the music the cinematography... Absolute masterpiece ❤️
I cannot wait for more. So much potential with all the other mysteries in this game. Could Strange Man finally give us what happened in Blackwater…. 10/10
I feel like there is quite a bit left out in Emerald Ranch, almost like there was supposed to be a side mission involving the father. It's implied that he abuses his daughter physically and well sexually which is disgusting. Also if you get into a fight with Wegner you can beat him into submission where he runs off thus proving once and for all that all bullies are cowards.
me at 20:00 : gosh i wish there was a scene where we could kill the rancher and vindicate his daughter
strange man at 21:28 : i gotchu
This channel is the single thread of hope I have left that the rockstar we love isn’t actually dead. 😢
i played this game on launch, and spent 2 days trying to figure out a way to free her, i did not believe the devs would create all this story around this ranch and not let the player character have any impact on it.
Probably closer than you think partner
This game is a masterpiece and the story elements like this are awesome but it sucks that it doesn't let you do anything about it. You get these depressing side stories and then just have to piece together the puzzle pieces and leave, you don't have the option to help or do anything other than solve the mystery- it's really cool and I love it, don't get me wrong, but I wish you could do something.
👍🏼
imagine while playing with John after the Epilogue she would be sitting finally infront of the house, cause her father died or she killed him for what he's done to her
Strange Man, far be it for me to make requests, but in since you can go as far as checking game files, can you put together a video featuring all the NPC camper encounters, and how to trigger them? I can't trigger a single one
Yeah, in my play playthroughs I found some that I could find again, but other ones I couldn't
What a production... such a content full video with a blend of storytelling and drama, loved it!! And revisiting some of red dead´s old mysteries seems to look good!
I caught the Max Payne dialogue in there. That's a new thing
Man.. this guy can make anything into a a short film.. absolutely stunning work! 👏🧐
The amount of effort and quality you put into your craft when making these videos is honestly crazy and the ending you made was a really nice touch to top it off thank you strange man.
Max payne is that you?
I can't imagine how happy I feel when I saw you released a new video. Thank you for your work 👍
Ok you make me want to play Max Payne again.
This is Movie Quality man!
Absolutely brilliant Strange Man
This video is a masterpiece! It's crazy to think how many work hours must have went into this. Also, I didn't expect to hear Max Payne's narration in this -- it fits perfectly! Simply brilliant!
The editing, the atmosphere, the storytelling! This is a work of art. You're the best Strange Man, keep this up!
The staging is absolutely incredible! What an amazing job ! 👍
Thanks to you Strange Man for the great quality videos every time 🙏
Awesome video, I appreciate the work/effort/editing you do for these amazing uploads.
I love the usage of the Max Payne dialogue in the summary. It fits perfectly with what was going on.
I'm glad to see this channel still active
& Also ALLL THESE EASTER EGGS made me replay the story mode
I have been watching your videos since the very beginning and I want to thank you for all of your hard work and effort! All of the videos on this channel are very well researched and smart. Kudos!
The video editing is exceptional as always but I am even more admiring in front of the staging work for the summary, really incredible
This is really well put together. Feels like the best kind of documentary. Good job!!
Man what a work you do, each video is a masterpiece!
This is so far one the best video you have ever made... Loved it!
right???
Excellent editing on this one, in particular! I loved the Max Payne references.
Its annoying that I keep kidnapping Eugene and haul him all the way to the western edge of New Austin and yet somehow he keep s ending up back at that front porch the very next day and still acting like a pre-modern Karen.
At least I can keep killing him in creative ways over and over again though I would like to have a mission where we can liberate Miriam from this fool once and for all.
Guy in the Flashback part sounds like Max Payne
My thoughts exactly
Because it is
Oh fantastic choice with the Max Payne voiceover work!
Wow bro. I’m convince you must’ve worked for rockstar or still do cause the love and effort you put into these videos are out of the this world. Please keep ‘em coming been watching for a while now.
Love how you keep doing RDR2 videos to this day, i never get tired of them
This was a superb video. The story telling and editing, my god strangeman youre a true artist. Youre not only keeping this game alive, but imho youre easily one of the best content creators on youtube as a whole. Its always a joy and a treat to watch one of your vids 😊 makes me wish we had a rdr2 show, with the main story and a side mini series about all the side mysteries and how they tie in with the rdr world.
Your b-roll of RDR2 is always so amazing!! I really wish there were some stranger missions in Emerald ranch that involved Miriam too, such a shame all this content is just a story.
You just took your videos on a whole new level!
Amazing work on the "summary" part! That's why I love this channel. Things you don't see anywhere else.
The production quality on these videos is nothing short of outstanding. Thank you Strange Man!
Absolutely brilliant partner, your work is always close to perfection!
Mate your videos are always great! I enjoy watching every single one. And the ending with the voice over etc is just amazing. Must have been a lot of work! Keep it up, you're doing great and make people happy :)
That Max Payne reference, that was great really. The cherry on top of an excellent video.
The summary!!! 💪🏾💪🏾 nice work Strange Man.
This is easily one of the coolest videos you've ever made. Bravo! Felt like a movie there at the end.
The editing on this video, specially that last segment was AMAZING! Love your work!
Was NOT expecting the voice of Max Payne, but holy crap that was edited in there perfectly.
Love the videos, thank you strange man!
This channel never seizes to amaze me. Love the content as always!
When I seen there was 3 or more minutes left of the video after the “see you in the next video” I was wondering what was coming and it was spectacular! Hope that’s a hint to what’s coming to future videos.
I can recognize some of the edited voice lines are coming from max payne. amazing video. love your content.
The way that this video went from mystery investigation, to cinematic masterpiece, was * chefs kiss *.
Excellent video and ending, it was absolutely brilliant!
Not many people get a like before I've even watched the videos but your videos are truly fantastic, continue to bring my game to life years after it shouldnt have been anymore
WHAT A INCRIBLE WORK !! TY FOR YOUR VIDEOS !!
What a video... no words. The edititng is insane
In my mind I always say that the only person who understands and loves RDR2 better than me is Strange Man. But then again, all the 500k subs are proof that the greatest game that ever existed is truly loved by a crazy amount of people and that makes me happy.
The mystery girl has 2 slightly different body types and if I remember right about 4 different outfit styles. She also has a voice and dialog for strangers mission style. Like "get back here" if you run off while with a companion.
Like any side character that can be with you in a side mission or Stanger mission.
Seems they were gonna add a mission where you interact with her but cut it or didn't finish.
I really enjoy the editing , it makes the story more immersive and realistic !!!
Love the short film explanation! Really unique!
Ok, one last question: why tf would he leave the blood on the floor, not repair the clear bulletholes for 8 years and then just leave the door open for anyone to wander into
Im convinced you work at rockstar
I bow to you, sir. Your editing, your storytelling, bravo.
So you add something to make it so good.. loved it strange man..❤
Loved the flash back and the short film at the end! So well made!
Dude thank you so much for the work you put into this, such a great video ❤
Isn't there a random encounter in Red Dead Online near O'Creagh's Run of a tied up guy left for dead who asks you to untie him and give him a ride back to Emerald Ranch to resolve an issue with the man who paid to have him kidnaped? Could this man be the bar tender who the owner of the ranch paid to get kidnaped?
When he returns to confront him the shooting happens wich leaves him dead...
If im not mistaken Red Dead Online is supposed to take place before the Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Line so this could make sense chronologically.
At the very least this encounter is related to Emerald Ranch.
Camera shots, music, everything fits together beautifully. Thanks!
Insane editing brother, but you missed one really important point here.
Miriam was pregnant with Joshua and later even had that baby.
If you linger around her house on the porch, you can hear this "come here little man, get ready for supper"
Her father does not want people to know of her kid. THIS is the reason he kept her captive.
Can't believe how you missed this.
Also, loved how you incorporated hunting dialogue with this 😂 nice job!
The Summary is better than a movie bro… love your content
This one was amazing ! Thank you for you great work !
Fantastically well done!
FANTASTIC VIDEO ! FANTASTIC EDITING!
This game really is a masterpiece! And this channel is amazing!
Another absolutely awesome video.
Thank you!! Truly!
Excellent video, really well made
Amazing work especially the ending!!!
Dude your videos keeps going better and better , when GTA6 comes out, your channel is going to be legendary.
such an upgrade!!! just wow getting better and better
Yo bro, you have to be THE best rdr2 channel. I was already very impressed with how you solve these seemingly unsolvable mysteries, but now you even did a damn reenactment?? (and i love the usage of Max Payne's lines). I can't wait to see this channel get bigger and bigger
this channel is something else 👍🙏💯
You are legend strangeman💛🌻
Hey strange man just wanted to let you Know that you made my day uploading a new video.
Love your videos man!
Awesome work!
