Lászlo Biró took argentinian citizenship and that's why we argentines consider him one of us as well as a hungarian. We still call the ballpen "Birome" after him and Meyne, who was his fellow and hungarian himself too. Biró also invented the automatic gearbox.
Remélem ezentúl másoknak is eszébe jut.

Safety matches are not a hungarian invention. Irinyi's version was definetly way more safe than all other versions at the time but still dangerous. The first real safety match was invented in Sweden. Szent-Györgyi was the first to isolate vitamin C. That can't be called inventing vitamin C. I think it is interesting to mention, that Dennis Gábor ivented the holographic method already 24 years before he won the Nobel prize for it, so in 1947. Oszkár Asbóth did not invent the helicopter. As with a lot of inventions and discoveries in the 18th/19th/early 20th centuries, so many inventors and scientists worked on certain things, that naming just one person is often not justified. All those people often influenced, inspired and pushed each other. Sometimes they were succesful without knowing each others work so we would have almost everything anyway. The history of the helicopter is a prime example of many inventors partaking in the development. Asbóth can be called an aviation pioneer for sure, but he did not even invent the principle of coaxial rotors used for modern helicopters and he also created no important improvement, so calling him the inventor is not justified. The floppy disk was also not invented by Marcell Jánosi. But his 3 inch version was way smaller than the already existing 8 inch version of IBM and he used a hard case, which was also new. Goldmark was a very important pioneer of color television, but the Mexican González-Camarena was working on color television at the same time. His system was simpler and was later used by NASA. The first practical color television system was invented by the Scot John Logie Baird, wo is the most important figure in television development as well. But Goldmark did also very important work in the development of audio cassettes, video recorders and foto copies. And he is the inventor of the LP vinyl record.
Soda water was not Hungarian invention. Asbóth did not invent a reliable working helicopter at all. Goldmark is not known as inventor of TV neither color TV. There are much more famous and internationally recognized Hungarian inventors, why don't you mentioned them?
