The Tomatoes have to guess what the English titles are, for Hungarian versions of them provided by Petra. Let's see how well we've performed! :P

A piros blúzos csajnak is : )
A szőke volt a lég ügyesebb miről beszéltek?
@@sonyfranceze1553 az magyar 😂😂😂
@@galkristof480 hát ha az. Csaj magyar akkor én is d
@@sonyfranceze1553 de tényleg na
Csipkerózsika comes from the wild rose (called csipkerózsa in Hungarian) that covers the castle during the 100-years it's inhabitants spend in magical sleep.
Briar rose. That's how the pricess is called while she lived in the forest. That's where her Hungarian name comes from.
I think it actually comes from the German version (maybe the original fairy tale has German origins?) Dornröschen, which more ore less translates to Csipkerózsika.
Good to know :D
Pipőke= cipőcske.Apukám gyermekkoromban ,mikor elvitt sétálni,így mondta,hogy hozzátok a pipellőt
Katalin Gyöngyi Kulcsár Bancsi így van...
egyébként a pipőnek van jelentése, a cipő becézett formája :)
szóval ez is egy logikus magyar cím:)
Vááá tényleg.... xd
Nem tudtam XD
Én a cipellőt ismerem, szerintem abból lehet :D
Hát igen
a pipő kis libát vagy kis kacsát jelent :/
A szépség és a *szőnyeg*
Úgy is néz ki xddd
XD
My new favorite title to it! Imagine how it sounds in english: The Beauty and the Rug! XD
I really like when not Hungarian people try to say Hungarian words. (And I think an English person can laugh when I try to say "worth" or "bluetooth")
Stella és Sarah Stone Hát ja. A "th" hangot nem tudom én se kiejteni 😂 Inkább "f"- nek, "sz"-nek stb. ejtem. Ha megpróbálom, végeredményben akkora tócsát köpök a padlóra... 😂
"Vörth" "blututh"
How come this comment is English but everybody speaks I’m guessing Hungarian, try pronouncing my language welsh
@@pandaawastaken because the person who's asked the first question is also hungarian. Btw that prononciation of "th" really is a mindbreaker. 😂😂
Csipkerózsika got her name because in the original story having slept for a hundred years, the walls of her castle were covered by rosehip-bushes making it even harder for the prince to get there. Rosehip is called "csipkerózsa" in Hungarian.
Briar rose.
The Hungarian words actually sound similar to the "Šípková Růženka" in Czech.
In Germany we have the same Sleeping Beauty Translation. It's 'Dornröschen' wich means exactly the same as the Hungarian one
I guess the name was translated from German into Hungarian.
Jajj, Istenem!!! Olyan aranyosak voltak ahogy próbálkoztak a kiejtéssel!!
Dorka Eszter Becsjanszki igaz
Dorka Eszter Becsjanszki szakadtam😂😂😂
A legjobb :„töpe” szó volt.
I can tell you exactly how Hungary came up with that name. In the story of Sleeping Beauty, when the fairies raise the princess Aurora, they re-name her Briar Rose. The name Briar rose is a nod to the original story's mention of the rose vines that covered Aurora's tower
Óóó, annyira cukik! Olyan jó látni/hallani, hogy próbálgatják a magyar nyelvet! ♥
Szóalkotásban a magyar a legjobb.

Csipkerózsika is actually a rough translation of the original German(!) name of Sleeping Beauty (= Dornröschen) from Grimm's fairy tales. Hungarian "csipke" means both lace and rosehips while German "Dorn" means thorn, but German "Rosa" and Hungarian "rózsa" both mean rose, -chen is a German diminutive suffix, forming Röschen with umlaut which was translated into "rózsika" (-ika is a diminutive suffix for nicknames). Rózsa is also a female name (~engl. Rose), Rózsika is used as nickname for Rózsa (~engl. Rosie).
Olyan édesek voltak ahogy próbálták kimondani helyesen a címeket .
6:00 OMG, of course, there is a meaning Pipőke, its nicked form. It means shoes or slipper, in this chase refers to the glass slipper.
Briar Rose = Sleeping Beauty, so Roses makes sense
In Swedish we call her Törnrosa, wich translates as Thorn Rose.
I think Csipkerózsika was named this because in the original story the princess at the age of 16 poke her hand with the tip of a spinning wheel and die by the curse of the fairy that got angry she was not invited to her birthday by the King and Queen. But the curse was weakend by the good fairies to only fall asleep along with everyone in the castle. The King then banished all spinning wheels from the castle but he missed one that was hidden by the evil fairy.
When the princess got 16 the evil fairy disguised by magic convinced her to make a lace("Csipke") gift for her mother. While she was making the gift she poke her had accidentally and fell asleep with everyone in the castle. After everyone fell asleep a long time have passed and huge rose bushes started to grow around the castle and made it almost impossible to enter because of the huge torns. Then came Prince Charming hacking thru the bushes with his swrod because he heard of the legend of the sleeping princess. When he found her still asleep he first tries to wake her by calling Sleepy Rose ("Rózsika"). But when does not work he kisses her breaking the curse.
At least this is how the story went when my grandmother told me ages ago.
I got that last one before even the first hint. It has a slight similarity to Mongolian Arslan meaning lion. Yay useless info that came in handy once!
@Balage78Szfvar not just maybe.
Plusz a belőle készített lekvár.
Knots in hair, blonde hair = Tangled, makes sense.
this is my first watched video on your channel but I'll definitely watch many more! love the initiation!!! so much! there should be other channels of this type! 😭😭😍😍😍😍😋
Oros first did me think about bear because of italian orso.
Also enlarging the heads is hilarious.
The Hungarian for bear comes from the Russian word for it. No relation with Ursus.
a Hamupipőben a pipők e a cipőre utal.
Well made video, guys! You have a new subscriber here! :) Keep it up!
Cinderella's original name from brothers Grimm is ashputtle so I can see how that's the name
nobody ever said this happy that yes I got frozen!
I want to be friends with these fellas right here. You guys seem soo nice :D ❤️
As soon as I saw oroszlán I thought of Aslan the lion from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Narnia) and instantly knew it! 😂😂
I see your brain/reasoning works like mine 😂😂 #3. "rózsika" sounds like rose(s) or pink, and the only "rose" I can think of (other than the flower in beauty and the beast) is briar rose aka sleeping beauty, whose dress is also pink, sooo...😂
Olyan aranyos ahogyan próbálkoznak😂❤ és nagyon ügyesek👌
Csipkerózsika IIRC is the Hungarized version of Rosebud, the princess' name in the said tale and our tellings of the story always use this title. Hence the Sleeping Beauty cartoon is also called Csipkerózsika. Kinda complicated but of all the weird renamed titles this makes probably the most sense locally.
Good job :) szép munka :)
sokat nevettem azért :D
"I don't butcher the language anymore." No, Nevil, you don't :)
This is so cute! 😊
I am an English guy living in Hungary, so I got a few of these at once. Some though, I knew the Hungarian title, but did not get which one it was in English. Thanks for the video.
Keep going, have fun. :)
love this!
But pipőke can be a nickname for shoes tho. As from cipő - pipő ;)
kazucchitanaka not really😂
@@agustd349 You wrong....

csipkerózsika: kinda like Wildrose. it's because the castle had that thorny bush thing

They were pretty good. XD
Tetszett a videó. Feliratkoztam.
köszönjük :)
Nice video!
i like these kind of videos ... ppl are so cute when meet with hungarian lang. :)
I remember watching Madagascar and I like to move it in Hungarian was bloody hilarious
You should do this for Bahasa Malaysia :)
Sad to say, I belum tengok wayang Disney dalam BM >.<
Tapi namanya beza sangat ke? :D
The Forking Tomatoes
I don't speak Malay, but there are Malay dubbed versions of most Disney films animated films.
I know there are, I've just never watched them in Malay before. :)
I'm Hungarian and I was like how is that so hard its so easy for me lol
Lizzyunicorn Sugertreat ...cuz you're Hungarian y wtf

A srác maláj.
The viewers 90% (including myself) is Hungarian
Csak a piros pólós lány miatt jöttem. :D
Hey, I've just found your channel Petra, and I have to say that your English pronunciation is very good! 😊
I'm also Hungarian and I want to speak English like you do... 😄 What's your secret? :)
Is it because you live there or is there something else? :)
Tök ügyük voltak!
In Canada tangled is often called Rapunzel mostly by middle school students
I recently found out that middle school is actually called junior high in Canada and yes I'm Canadian I have been calling it Wong my whole life

Shot that buzzer!
hungarian is my third language and when i saw "oroszlánkirály" i saw orosz and thought russian and i got "the russian king" and i was confused
Now in spanish that would be great ;)
Szép próba volt
Sleeping Beauty is probably is called something relating to a rose because her actual name is Briar Rose in the stories
Csipkerózsa = hedge-rose (rosehip). Sleeping beauty's castle is surrounded by a thicket with spiky plants, that's the origin of the name.
4 villás paradicsom
I came here because i"m learning hungarian, but i fell in love with the girl on the right
Ez hatalma és vicces :)
Each time: "Hunchback of Notre-Dame!"
I'm laughing a loud when nelvin got answer frozen, then my mom said "kenapa ni?".. Lol.
Csipkerózsika=Csipkejóska😂😂😂. Hallásra.
Csipkerózsika=Pinokió?
Csipkerózsika=Tarzan?
Ez de jó 😂😂😂
The sleeping beauty one comes from her name Briar Rose
Csipkerozsika name is actually comes from rosehip bush
**rányomok a videóra**
Sleeping Beauty, the cartoon is Uspavana Lepotica (Sleeping Beauty) in Serbian. And the story is Trnova Ružica, so, similar to the Hungarian name.
emma gorgeous
Nagyon jóóóóóóó, furcsa hogy nem értik 😂😂
