Everyday carry, aka EDC gear, is something we all have our thoughts and opinions on. In this video we'll break down what we have on us on a daily basis.
What is the 1911 Syndicate? We do a few things. We started out as a real estate company primarily targeted at serving the military/LE/shooting/hunting communities. Consider it our "day job" and we can serve you pretty much anywhere in the USA. Next we're a content producer. We kind of fell into it semi by accident, and here we are today. Langdon Tactical Beretta compact with extra mag in pocket. PSA, you don’t necessarily carry the mag for more ammo, it’s for malfunctions, magazines are the number one cause for semiauto handgun malfunctions.
Yes! Tons of people don't understand this. There are two basic malfunction clearances.....tap rack.....and unload then reload......that fixes 99% of all semi automatic malfunctions pistol or rifle.

I carry in a blade tech mag pouch next to a tourniquet holder which is almost the same size.

EDC is a Walther PDP Compact and an extra magazine in a T-Rex Sidecar, Spyderco Endura 4, Magpul DAKA Everyday Wallet, business cards, iPhone, Sharpie S Gel pen in blue, and a Sharpie fine point black marker. If I'm on my way to work I also have a cheap box cutter. I wear corrective lenses and have never had a pair of sunglasses, but I'm currently buying my first pair of Rx Ray-Bans. Pretty pumped about that.
I’ve been carrying the p365xl in my tulster holster the past few years and it’s the best.
I carry either a Glock 19 or Glock 45. Both with a 507c with a tlr7a flex in a T Rex Arms Sidecar holster with extra 17 round mag. I keep a knife and a tiny streamlight 250 lumen light clipped to my pocket. Belt is a T Rex Nova belt. It is awesome

I am a PSO at a local school and my primary duty weapon is either a SIG P226TACOPS with Streamlight TRL-1HL or a Para Ordnance PRX14.45 with a Surefire X300U/B weaponlight. My holster is a Safariland 6360(?) duty rig.
Off Duty I carry either one or the other weapon in Custom Vedder Holsters Kydex Holster along with a CRKT M-21-04G pocket knife, one spare magazine and a Surefire 6PX Tactical Flashlight...
So I can relate with your friend who has eight pounds worth of EDC...

Desantis makes the pocket mag carrier for approx $25. They make them for all different mag types. I highly recommend them. I've carried one for the last 3 years or so.
My edc is - Staccato C2 in a Tenicor holster, pocket knife, stream light AAA flashlight, phone and wallet, Kore belt

For guns I alternate between a Staccato P with a Holosun 509T and Surefire X300U, a Kimber Evo SP Two-Tone with the custom shop grip panels, and a Glock 45 with a PMM JTTC comp, Trijicon SRO, and Surefire X300U. My knife is a Buck n Bear Abalone Flipper. I carry one spare for each gun in my pocket as well as a tourniquet. Tommy Bahama bi-fold wallet, keys in a Keybar, iPhone, and Magpul shades. For watches I generally wear my Garmin Instinct, but I’ll also now wear my Swatch Q watch…cause you know…James Bond stuff.

I rock my g43 with a +2 extender or my G48 with shield arms mags, my back up mag if I bring it along is the shield arms mag with a +5 baseplate, knife is a Kershaw 1680 and IFAK in the truck.
Good vid guys, I'm going to start carrying a spare mag also. There was a recent shoot out in Florida were the police office accidently dropped his mag mid gun fight and had to reload, that is my kind of luck right there.
Carrying a spare mag is more about fixing malfunctions than Heat.

Tier1 axis, neo mag with +5, and two more in my bag 😬😬
Carry M&P 9c with 12 Rd mag, backup mag has Taran Tactical 3rd ext. Use Federal HST 147gr. Carried in We The People Kydex holster. I also carry spare mag in pocket. Olight flash light, Gerber flat iron knife, Recycled Firefighter wallet, Shop #7 8oz blackjack. Forgot to mention, watch: Samsung Galaxy Frontier 3... And last but not least a Pixel 5 with kevlar latercase.
West Valley here, it does get hot as hell. Magpul Tejas gun belt (Gift) but love it, Kimber Custom ll, 1791 holster, extra wilson mag in rymmes holster next to war poet tac pen, shiv works push dagger, and wallet. If I have to carry iwb, maybe 10% of year S&W SD9VE and amberide holster

Edc is a staccato c2 with tlr-1 in a las concealment saya 2.0 holster. I dont always carry an extra mag but when i do i use a neomag in my pocket. Ciguera gear belt like chris in the vid, spyderco shaman or once in awhile a spyderco amalgam, iphone, and either a citizen skyhawk watch, citizen captain america watch or gshock

Why is Chris and I almost the same edc? Sunglasses, gun, and wallet… well close enough to each other. Oakleys everyday, hell bent 3.0 wallet, C2 in a tier 1 conceal or legacy firearms holster, benchmade bugout knife, spare mag in a neomag, and a sure fire flashlight. Although I have been trying to get that Hailey strategic flashlight ever since Jake did the video on cool stuff and introduced it to me!

awesome vid guys def should always carry a spare mag. For reloads and for malfunctions either way it's a good thing to carry. Also like the simplicity of the EDC from ya both. Like they say keep it simple stupid and that's what people should do.
Today’s EDC; Kimber Custom2, (Wilson Combat trigger, barrel, ect.) Wilson 47D mags. Ammo is 230GR, Different QUALITY brands. Been rocking a Belly Band & it ain’t been bad for walking around. Truck Gun is my Rock River AR with five 30 round mags. Med Kit, 2 SureFires, batteries, gloves, Bubble Gum because I love it, IPad, Apple Watch ⌚️, Apple phone & I KEEP my Body Armor with me almost always. Vehicles stay in garage @ home but I leave NOTHING in them. Great channel, gentleman.

Simplicity is best for program compliance... Gun, blade, watch, wallet, maybe an extra mag depending on where you're at and phone with a good belt to hold you pants up and you're pretty much good to go all over the country... well in the free states anyways. LOL I use to carry all kinds of crap on me everywhere I went but now I leave a pack in the truck with some extras in it but life has been so much better not toting all that crap around on me... Glock 19/Precision Holsters AIWB, Medford Pretorian that I was given after my best friend/bro took his life (it was his), Boker camp knife (like a Swiss army knife), County Comm 750 lumen (2aa) Light, Anvil Customs leather wallet, brass zippo, my coveted 82nd Airborne Division challenge coin I was given in 98, hanky, ankle trauma holster (typical blow out gear), brass/wood pen, watch (Adi) out of Israel, memorial wrist band.

1.I wear the Gshock GWG-1000 - carried it through 3 combat deployments and I used that compass a fuck ton. It’s honestly the best watch ever made, it’s bomb proof and it never dies.
2.Hellcat - extra mag in the pants pocket in a Tier 1 concealed holster or a stealth gear for when it’s extra hot in AZ.
3.Combat Troodon and a PM2

Love the P365xl!! My favorite edc! Wished I could afford a Staccato. Don’t know to many people who can afford one. If I was guarding the president I might carry one.

I live in south africa and I am a police officer and work pvt security as well, my EDC is based off of what has worked and kept me alive thus far.i carry a glock 17 and a gklock 26 as a backup both fitted with holosun RDS optics I carry 3 extra mags at all times because in south africa the violence and crime is way oiut of control.....I also carry a spyderco pm2 and a spyderco yojimbo2....there are a few other thins in my edc bag that is always with me......again thanks for your RUclips content its awesome 👏👏👏🤜🤛

Streamlight microstream, gshock watch, trayvax wallet, keys, credentials, spare mag in my pocket (nice to see I'm not alone in that lol), gerber pocket knife/ka-bar fixed blade (one or the other...sometimes both), and either my shadow systems xr920 in a tier1 holster, or sig p320 xcarry in a tier1 holster....no light or rmr on either yet.
Sig p365 with slide cut by danger close armament for holosun 507k (before optics ready 365s were available). No extra mag. Speer gold dot 147s. Alpha concealment AIWB holster (now defunct but best holster for AIWB I have tried). Vox Dapper, Para 3, custom Bugout or microtech utx 85 depending on the day. Stream light 1LAA dual fuel light. Trayvax contour wallet. Big Idea Design copper click EDC pen. Trayvax leather link for keychain. Fitbit (step goal….)

Pom OC in my coin pocket, bifold passport style wallet, inhaler, cheap Amazon version of That Streamlight flashlight, MP9c with a TLR7A and Holosun 507c in a T1C Agis Elite.
I can’t yet carry my pistol but I do carry my iPhone, wallet, keys, and a pocket knife. Either a Spyderco Delica 4, Or a Benchmade Griptilian. Breaks my heart when I see someone who uses a pocket knife somewhat regularly and they’re using a gas station knife or just something crappy. A decent pocket knife is anywhere from $50 up. An OKC Rat or Rat II in D2 tool steel (which is decent steel) can be had for less than $50 and it’s a fine pocket knife. A decent Spyderco is $75-$150 if you just want a knife and not a special edition one.
19:27 mine has changed a from a tuned up g19 gen 3 to stock glock 34 gen 5 , I want to edc my government sized infinity but don't know what holster that will tuck it in to me .
Almost forgot my EDC is generally a Nighthawk CCO or TRS in a leather SME from 5Shot leather a little clinch pic from PMoore knives and a Microtech OTF and a little med kit with tourniquet and a spare mag in back pocket.

Hey Jake, my Cabot Nero is set to arrive this week. Was wondering two quick things; first, do you run a shock buff on your recoil spring? Secondly, do you use a chrome silicon recoil spring? Or, is the Cabot great enough that you don’t need to address those options? Thanks.
Glock 48 MOS w/ Holosun 407k and Streamlight TLR-7 Sub, Shield 15rd mags with Federal HST 124gr +P, T Rex Sidecar 2.0 all riding on the same Emissary belt as Chris. I carry the small Streamlight like Jake but the USB rechargeable version. For a knife I rotate usually between my Benchmade Bailout M4 or my Spyderco PM2. iPhone 12 and an Apple Watch. Trayvax wallet.
Tell me something man . Is the sheild mags worth it ? With the sheild mag catch?
@@benjaminknighton5724 In my opinion they’re worth having. I do have the Shield mag catch installed to go with them. I know some people have had issues with the magazines but I have quite a few rounds through mine and they’ve been good, with the exception of one that doesn’t always lock the slide when empty. Not ideal but it has been reliable otherwise.

Something your friend is missing about carrying an extra mag is that when a semi auto pistol malfunctions, the most likely cause is the magazine. An extra mag should Always be carried when carrying a pistol. Thanks

What is that black rubber band that is around the Staccato grip? Looks like it's keeping the grip safety depressed.
Also, I had a G-Shock when I was over seas. I used to wear them wrist inward so when I shoot the glare won't let me be seen, also the turn light feature on it.
So you wore it screen facing in to minimize glare but then turned the Auto Light feature on?

Extra mag, folding knife, flashlight, watch and phone. Med kit in my vehicle.
If you have 2 gunfights and one takes 1 round to solve and the next takes 17 rounds to resolve the average is 9 rds.....using averages is not a great way to choose capacity.
@@MrTmont22 Doesn’t matter what average is used if you come up short it will be a bad day! Look up the gun fight about the officer that now carries like 148 rounds on his person. Before anyone says it I know we aren’t law enforcement but that officer was only fighting one guy, which means it could happen to a civilian. My only point is it’s not that much trouble to carry at least one spare mag in a pocket.

My EDC: Cell Phone, Glasses, Blu tooth ear bud, Husky knife, Keys, wallet, Core essentials leather belt, VP9sk in a crossbreed holster.

Carry a Samsung smart watch, sacrificing rugged practicality that would help in extremely rare survival situations for way more uses in daily life. Oakley sunglasses but I don't wear them often, Ontario rat 1 clipped inside my pocket, boring leather wallet, google pixel 6 pro, keychain with house, car and gunlock keys. Now for the fun stuff: I switch between a Magpul Tejas belt and a nexbelt... Both of which I think are great and will carry any gun just fine, sig p365xl with 15+1 and XSC flashlight in a QVO kydex aiwb holster made specifically for that combo ... Will be throwing a holosun 507k on soon as well ... Still need a decent flashlight tho
G Shock, Ekster black leather wallet, Sig 365XL or Canik SC(both with red dots) with extra 15rd mag, Vipertec OTF, Olight Pen(yeah I know), Gerber money clip, dentil floss, dentil pics, Novo3 vape. I feel like its fairly light and basic. That said I'm sure I'll catch shit for the Olight pen and vape.

I live in Michigan so shoes very so fall and winter I like under armour HOVR Dawn boots, and flip-flops in the summers mostly

I can relate entirely, boyz. I live in South Florida, and carrying here has to be very strategic as anything heavier than loose change in your pocket tends to be too cumbersome and heavy to carry. I carry a Sig 365XL with a 12 round mag and a backup 15 round mag in my left pocket as I’m a righty. I carry POM pepper spray in my right pocket in case I need to spray a damn fool or the neighbor’s Sabre tooth tiger. Trust me, I’d rather not have to shoot the neighbor’s dog if I can just OC spray it to death. I also alternate my carry with a m&p shield plus and a sig p320 x compact. I carry phone and wallet. That’s it. Nothing else. In the vehicle I carry additional shit that I can’t remember. First aid kit, etc. great video!

Shadow Systems MR920 in a Blackarch IWB holster, Common Fibers wallet, IPhone with the watch to match, no knife or cool ninja shit tho.
However, been debating on picking up a new EDC like the Walther PDP or CZ P10C but with all the mods I’ve seen I’m kinda biased & thinking about the Shadow Systems War Poet
CZ P07, with a holosun 507C, PMM comp, and Surefire X300..... I basically took a compact gun and made it huge. Ammo is Federal HST 124 gr. +P, gotta justify the comp...beside it looks cool. 1 spare magazines with shield arms extension for that 20+, Cold Steel Safe Marker 2, POM pepper spray, because I'm to old to throw hands, PLShter medic wallet, Streamlight Protac, SOFT tourniquet, and a swiss army knife tinker model. I definitely use the swiss army knife the most. I attached all of this stuff to a Untiy Tactical Clutch Belt, so I can be in in the cool kids EDC club in basketball shorts and t-shirts. I wear uniforms/suits depending on work so when I'm not working my wardrobe is ultra lazy. Except I don't wear lulu lime stuff. I'm secure in my financial deficit, to wear shit from Walmart......
My watch is a timex, and my wallet from Walmart. My keys are on a Kubaton, because I broke my hands punching people in the face....3 different times..... don't be the sober security person in a sea of drunks for work....

With the zippo check out the kgm vector thunderbird natural flame insert. Looks, sounds and functions exactly the same as a real zippo including the flints and flint wheel. But it runs on butane. No leaks, smell or evaporation. Freakn awesome product.

Have that same Microstream USB, it's excellent and powerful for the size! Just realized they offer a Macrostream that just a pinch bigger and uses the more common and powerful 14500 Li-on battery.

Hey man, why a P365 XL over the standard P365? I have the original 365, wondering if the difference is worth switching. Im not a handgun guy, im a believer in a proper carbine and training, the 365 is my only handgun and strictly for backup sidearm.
Patrick Johnson: It's DEFINITELY worth switching.👌 The XL is just a little bigger and heavier, but it gives better control when shooting, size and weight insignificant when carrying. 15 rd mag extends grip about an inch, but it butts right up against the mag well without a "gap". My back up is another XL, aka, "New York Reload", both worn in various rigs, in various places, which change according to the weather or what I'm wearing. Both packed with Hornaday Critical Defense. I'm all about carbines, too, but they are either my "truck gun" or at my bedside.
