You guys are one of my favorite reactors. Definite wolfpack members. This is one of their highest energy songs to date. Love the crowd interaction on this one.

It's a travesty that these ladies only have 118k YT subscribers. I own almost all their live Blu-rays. Hopefully, this year's world tour will gain them many, many new fans. They deserve it.
Sometimes it takes years to become an over-night success. But I certainly agree that they deserve it. If they were around in 1987, I'd think they'd be as famous as Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
I listen to music only on stationary equipment and only with whole albums and watch only whole concerts. There is not a single song on any Lovebites release (studio or live) that I would like to miss. And of all these releases, there is not one that is worse than the others. Everyone is in constant rotation. Now Lovebites is in the first place for me in terms of the number of views and auditions. They outperformed even the long-time leader of Dream Theater in this rating.)
You can confidently listen to their whole albums. They literally don't have any bad songs on any of their albums. There might be some songs you like more than other songs, but I'd be really surprised if you find a single song of theirs that you hate.

Yes, Midori and Miyako are hard to miss, but Haruna is the beating heart of this band. She is simply an unbelievable drummer, with speed, power, finesse and great writing skills--her fills and background work set the table for the others.
It's the efficiency of her technique that impresses me the most. Without it, I really doubt she could play at that speed and with that amount of complexity for a two hour concert.
Haruna play a very important role in the band's sound, mainly due to their cymbal work that gives the songs an incredible dynamic, but they all play a determining role in the final sound of the band, they are all incredible.
@@1970Phoenix agreed. She is really deceptive because she makes it look like she's not doing that much. The only drummer I can think of who is even smoother is Senri.

It is less than 9 months until I see Lovebites in their US debut at ProgPower in Atlanta. I will be attending days 2, 3 and 4 with 6 bands each day. Lovebites is the 5th band to play on day 3, right after Soen (another great band) and before Amorphis, the final band of the day. They will be doing a 90 minute set (8:15 - 9:45). My understanding is that the venue has a capacity of around 1,000, with 700 hundred being theatre seating. I have no doubt that they will be as fired up for their first US show as they were for their two return shows.
I went to ProgPower USA IV in 2003. Saw Redemption, Mercenary, Vanden Plas, Nightwish, Symphony X, Pagan's Mind, Secret Sphere, Circle II Circle, Evergrey, and Rage over 2 nights. The venue is very nice.

I totally agree. If Asami ever tries to growl, They would lose me as a fan.(well no not really). But I hate growling vocals. Ever since it started back in the 80's. It stops me from liking a lot of great metal bands.
@@785boats I understand you well. I do not like growling, too. My only _exception_ is the singer "Mayu" from Nemophila. Although I don't like growling at all, she sort of "has my permission". She simply does it "differently", it has meaning, imho. But maybe that actually _is_ a personal thing. The Nemophila song "Rise" is a good example, and Nemophila's "Zen" an extreme one.
Yeah - Cookie Monster vocals spoil some metal sub-genres for me. There are some exceptions - Hanabie and Nemophila screams/growls I actually like. Maybe because they are less gutteral. But I love, love, LOVE the clean vocals of Asami, even considering her far from perfect enunciation.

"Punk"? I personally see no traits of "Punk" in Lovebites songs, but way more in "Nemophila"...

Stand and Deliver form the same show has a great light show and more energy than the music video.
The stage show along with the light show blows out most, if not all, the concerts I have seen the last few years.
To think they have 118k YT subs, Fami had 600k+ YT subs before joining the band. Just criminal when you think of their total package talent-wise compared to others. Check out Winds of Transylvania VLADLOVE version (anime), an absolute shred fest by M&M. Great reaction, guys! 🤘
More and more I get the impression, that most of the promotional work for Lovebites is done by _The Wolfpack_ (word of mouth), e.g. here on YT, not so much by their management.
But I am no professional, so what do _I_ know...? 😉 🐺

Of course M§M are fabulous on guitar, but we must not forget, when we talk about foundation, the preponderant role of Haruna on drums and that of Fami who is already totally integrated.

Horses for courses innit. I understand some people not liking Asami's vocals (or style of vocal) but without her they would be a fundamentally different band. For the worse IMO. Her vocals are probably why a lot of people classify Lovebites as power metal rather than just 'metal' as they cover most genres. Growls these days are almost ubiquitous in a lot of metal. Dull. It's nice to have a different stylistic choice.
Straight-up old school metal, modernized in only the way Lovebites can do it. Never once has the word gimmick ever entered my mind with Lovebites. The musicianship is elite. Also, regarding aggressive vocals, why? There is too much of that in metal these days, and Asami differentiates Lovebites from other metal bands.

I must be really getting under his skin for him to spend all his time just to impersonate me 😂 It shows what we're doing (not just me) by reporting him, especially directly to the reactor, is working and we should continue doing that each time he rears his ugly head. I don't know anything about the Legend Club in Milan but it looks like it would hold only 400 at the maximum. That is a small venue for a band like Lovebites. I wonder if it is an iconic club like Whisky a Go Go in LA.
