Thank you for the great review. I would love to see a drum cam of little Haruna (4'9") going off on this song. I can't wait to see some concert footage for the new album. They have a few dates in early March and I hope they stream one of the shows. I am sure you will love everything they have done so far.

Welcome to the wolfpack if you haven't joined already. Lovebites to me is the greatest heavy metal band to come along in 30 years. They are all phenomenal like you said, across the board, every band member. Their new album is stellar. I just got my copy yesterday and every song is great, fast and hard and there are several different styles of music on the album. I count at least 5 different ones, but they are all heavy metal like Lovebites plays heavy metal.

New album officially dropped today in the US, and yesterday in Japan. They've also released a brand new video "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" which may be the best one so far!
Whole album is fantastic, been jamming it all day. We should have a full review up next week!

As I have been saying since 2017, the complexity of their songs is at a higher magnitude, the constructive and arrangements of ALL of their songs from ALL of the albums and EPs are out of the world. These ladies are leaving everyone behind with their prolific compositions and they aren't afraid to incorporate and infuse everything they got, meaning in one song you won't hear just one side style or genre you get multiple. Take this song we get thrash, speed, prog, and total heavy metal comprised in one, with no fillers, no repeats, and definitely no repetitive riffs and solos. As of today they now have a total of 60+ songs and 3 covers and you guys have only done 3. There is no other band right now that can compete with Lovebites being a music lover for over 50 years and fallen completely bonkers for Lovebites, I set out to defend these ladies with anyone and everyone who spews out crap about them, over the years I have a lot of correcting to all the newcomers

"Dissonance" is Lovebites going Death! (Except for Asami's vocals, of course.) What makes it even more impressive is the fact that a former Soul and R'n'B-singer co-wrote what might be their so far most aggressive song, especially in the vocals-department!

I heard your short review of the judgement day album and you kind of said that there should be a ballad in this album. When you know the Lovebites discography of previous albums this doesn't really stand out in this one. Because there are slow tracks and wonderful ballads. I think they wanted to break away a little from what they did before. This album in my opinion is meant to hit the spirits, and to those who like something heavy, fast, and smashing. Their whole discography is of a very high level, to say the least, you have 50 tracks to discover none of them are bad. I hope you'll take the time to react to their catalog because it's really worth it.

Lovebites have about half a dozen Thrash (or Thrashy) songs that are as good (and in my opinion, better) than anything released by Slayer or Anthrax.
some reactors have gotten heat for saying things like that, but it's just the truth. Like their genre or not, it's just clear that they are technically better than the old masters, and nothing wrong with that!
The one guitar player, Miyako is an accomplished piano player. She does an amazing Chopin piece live from Zepp city.

With this song you will not believe what you hear.. its like the whole rock history in one track. For me the best Lovebites piece.
Phénoménal as usual ! f I may say so, you should react to Nemophila (in addition to Dissension that you saw) because for me it's about the same level: "Adabana", "Aces High", "Revive", "Raitei", "Seize the fate" plus all covers that are better than the originals. Believe in an old gentleman you will not be disappointed!

What would be awesome is if Lovebites did a concert video that included videos where you could watch each member of the band individually. Kiss did that.
F RELENTLESS, THEY DO NOT F AROUND WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR MUSIC. If there was a modern Big 4 of Trivium, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold...easily LOVEBITES should be the fourth and if I was the 3 aforementioned bands, I would want LOVEBITES to play last. Would you want to follow up after them playing...not on your F life. I would not go on stage if they opened for me.

The next song after Dissonance (Soldier Stands Solitarily) is just as good or better than Dissonance. Wow, what an album.
there is better than dissonance in this album and by far, "soldier stand solitarily" title of another world. I would have to create a metal category for this one, I would say "ultra speed metal".
