15:30 She sings "Despair and rejection sitting silent by my side" there.😉 Hard to comprehend? Well, a bit hard but this is Asami with her One & Only Voice and thanks God we have her in LOVEBITES. 🤘
What a fantastic song. Judgement Day is truly shaping up to be their best album yet. I'm only getting more and more excited with every subsequent track they reveal. As for Asami she was the least-experienced member when Lovebites were formed, but she has grown massively over the years and she is one of the clear standouts on Judgement Day and especially The Spirit Lives On. Plus she's becoming a really good songwriter as well.
MIYAKO does compose drum tracks, she has a few shorts up and you can see her PC with the software tracks in frame. She also programmed the drum track on the 5th Element Audition track that the candidates submitted their entries to. Aside from that...its all HARUNA. Her grove is immediately recognizable, knowing her signature style. 🤘🐺🤘

🤘 Judgement Day is going to be a full 10 song album released in a few weeks. Just think after all the songs you've checked out, they're still putting out amazing songs and now that that you've checked out 3 songs so far from "Judgement Day" theres still 7 more songs to look forward to in the coming weeks. They posted on social media about recording another MV so there will also be a new MV to check out soon as well
It's just amazing the 3 songs so far we've heard from this album were composed by Asami and Mao. Asami! The former R&B singer that had not sang metal before!
daRiff, I've been waiting 😀 Thank you for digging deep into LOVEBITES and reacting again this time 👍 I like this song 🤟🔥🤟 Because the title "dissonance" is LOVEBITES Because it delivers to my ears with expression🎸It's a very cool song😁daRiff, I'm looking forward to the next reaction🎧See you later👋
Asami & Mao Music - Asami Lyrics Asmai has been a busy lady during their hiatus. Especially considering she got married. It's Lovebites at their best with a notable difference in the sound, FAMI!! I'm hearing her bass all the way through. Loved Miho but Fami is a on a different level.
I just can't believe there's another American reactor hooked on Asami's accent!!! This happens only with American guys, no English guys but only Americans.....weird. Does he enjoy only songs with good English vocal? It it is instrumental, does he even listen to it?
Well, at the end according to the supplied lyrics, she is supposed to be saying “A dissonance”. There is no way that is what she sings. I’ve listened to it many times and there is no “d” sounded, so it sounds like assonance (which is a word). So although I personally don’t care because her voice is more instrumental to me, her enunciation is often lacking. It is very difficult to sing at a quick pace and fully enunciate words, even for a native singer.
@@guygourley2411 She is sounding the 'd' faintly, it's being group with the 'a'. She's running the words together, which is trick she has mentioned doing to get lyrics to fit the music sometimes, so ad-is-so-nance rather than a-dis-o-nance. Not the way an English person would say it, but fine in a song, especially at this speed.
@@sonnynguyen9103 I listen to fully Japanese bands with no problems. I don’t think it’s being critical as much as an observation. Without the lyrics there are times when she is difficult to fully understand. There are US bands that are sometimes hard to understand. Singing at a face pace makes for difficulty to fully sound out all the words. For me it’s not even close to an issue, just the observation from listening.
@@guygourley2411 I totally agree with you man, Asami is such a monster singer and her pronunciation is not a issue for me too, but is noticeable, and if she gets better at it, it will help so much to understand the lyrics.
English is Asami’s 2nd language, so the accent will be present…. Even Journey’s Arnel Pineda still retain his accent when he sings….. Asami sounds angry in Dissonance 👍
I don't have the answer, but based on everything I've seen, I venture a guess Haruna is doing it straight. Regarding vocals, it's a pet peeve of mine regarding understanding the lyrics and it's importance. There are plenty of bands who sing in foreign languages where you need subtitles or the lyrics to understand them. To call that a weak link for that specific reason makes no sense to me, but you are not the first nor the last to say that. Asami's voice out of hiatus is powerful. Miyako, Midori, Fami, and Haruna just kill it on this one. I think it is their heaviest track (not necessarily the thrashiest). "Break the Wall" live to me is as close to pure thrash as it gets. Lovebites is its own genre, so this sone is Lovebites thrash done in a way only Lovebites can do. There are 10 tracks on the upcoming album. "Judgement Day" is my favroite song by any band. This tack just kicks ass. Nice reaction/analysis.
Maybe the youtubers just make sure it was 100% english or not because of the accent. In the case band sings in Japanese, the listeners or youtubers just think "oh this is Japanese lyrics, keep listening, keep listening I don't understand". If LB sings in Japanese I lose my interest, because it's mainstream for me.
Miyako most likely programs the basic drum track, then turns it over to Haruna so she can take it to the next level and put the finishing touches on it.
Haruna commented on Twitter that she’d finished recording (a few weeks back). She said it was extremely complicated to play. There’s your answer. The album is the metal equivalent of Sgt Pepper. Judgement Day is coming, and every other band is going to be 10 years behind Lovebites.
The torch has been passed. Lovebites has taken everything that has ever been done, and pushed it to the next level. The only thing left for them to do is write a long song. 15 to 20 minutes. Miyako's magnum opus. And then... she will take her rightful place at the top of the mountain.
@@alekhidell I have heard some people say Asami is a female Bruce Dickinson. I don't think Asami is anything like Dio. Except maybe in terms of power. @@TheCyberMantis it’s the power of her voice that I liken to Dio, rather than anything else. When I discovered Metallica in the 90's when I was in elementary school, I followed them religiously well into my adult years intill I discovered this band. I have lots of bands I like and follow to an extent but never to the extent that I did with Metallica and now with lovebites, and maybe 2 other bands. Just in the last few years music is finally getting better and better because for a while there (late 90's-2010's) everything I heard on the radio was absolute garbage. Fucka yea.
Bad Ass! Thrash,Speed,Punk,Power....................Also of amazement is the length of the songs Lovebites produces. The average song length is about 5 and one half minutes. That makes for a Ridiculous amount of BPM's played on an album let alone a 2 hour show. And they dont even break a sweat. The Arrangements in each song are so diverse and complimentary its Pure Fire.
No hate at all but "Weakest link" is a bit harsh, don't you think ? Especially if your only concern is the comprehension of the lyrics, not her ability to sing. Because the problem is not her vocals but the fact you don't seem used to foreign languages and accents in the first place. But you're not alone. The larger a country, the more ethnocentric it is. Fortunately, Lovebites (and other Japanese metal bands) have more and more US fans who think differently. So it's important to always keep your mind open to foreign cultures. 🙂 And don't forget one can find your accent harder to understand than hers. 😏😜 I just can't imagine LOVEBITES without Asami! I agree, their best track up to now. and no hate, but I disagree, when you say, asami is lovebites " weakest" link. forgotten her charisma and stage presence? and guess, who not only wrote the lyrics for this song, but also composed it. everywhere else in the world, people are able to enjoy the music without understanding the lyrics. they look it up, if they are interested. it seems to me, that only people from a certain country are complaining about understandability, instead of honouring, that someone leaves the comfort zone of the mother tongue. and by the way. with fifty percent of US metal bands the lyrics are not/barely understandable as well. so calling asami a "weak" link makes no sense to me.
