Fami is a insane talent. Composer, vocalist, bassist extraordinaire, also plays piano and guitar. And she's only 20. And to think she almost quit the business.
That's right, if it wasn't for the Lovebites bass opening she was gonna hang up her bass for good. Which is insane when you possess that sort of talent at such and early age. And she hasn't even been playing that long too.
She was born to play bass for this band I think.
And the way she works with Haruna is so sublime.

The beat that Haruna holds throughout the entire song is mind-boggling;. I'm exhausted just listening to her play. I think that the edition of Fami and her style of playing the bass has upped Haruna's drumming if that was at all possible. These ladies never fail to impress me. I honestly believe they are the gold standard of metal music these days.
There are so many superlatives about Lovebites musicianship and songwriting ability that you could write a book. It is not often I refer to their looks but it adds to the wonder in a way. No flesh fest, tattooed rock chick look, but sheer elegance, in my view. I know this is a music video and with professional hair and make up for the recording but somehow all of them look so healthy, vibrant and stunning.

On 17 August 2021, LOVEBITES took an extended break after their leader, bassist Miho, left the group.
The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from the public from all over the world and recruited a new bassist named Fami.
"JUDGEMENT DAY" is the first song from the long rest.
The song is also a JUDGEMENT DAY for the fully revived LOVEBITES and the legitimacy of Fami's adoption by the new bassists.
LOVEBITES will be back Live in March 2023.

Fami brings a new dimension Lovebites didn't have before. Her bass lines are incredible.
Haruna's cymbal work is spectacular.
Asami's voice is the best I've ever heard.
Midori, with those guns, playing as fast and tight as ever.
Miyako, who said she was working on speed during hiatus, proved it with her shredding solos.
I've never heard a better power metal song, because Lovebites does power metal different. 0% cheese like so many power metal bands sound no matter how good the musicianship is. They are a power/speed/thrash/heavy metal band, because every single song they do has elements of each.
I'm not a big fan of power metal bands like Iron Maiden, Helloween or Judas Priest, but i love this absolutely phenomenal band called Lovebites.
@M Benocas Then you feel the exact same way I do. I mentioned cheese for a reason. Most power metal I have listened to over a 50 year span (I'm 62) is just forced to be some big movie. The problem is you can clearly hear that in the music. Glory to the World is Lovebites most power metal song to me, and 0% cheese factor there. This song is power metal and so much more. Lovebites is everything I ever wanted in a metal band. Thrash and speed metal have always been my favorite. No matter what Lovebites do, I can hear both those elements in every song.

@@mmcpa I think Lovebites took the best that Trash, Heavy, Power, Speed metal had, carefully mixed it with a dash of classical music creating this epic, melodic, intense, powerful and heavy sound.
I think Glory to the world is a good example of that.

Miho was a friggin fantastic bass player, but this girl (Fami) in undoubtedly the best bass player on the planet! Check out her cover of alien alien when she had just turned 17! Then call me a liar! No other bass player can even play it! Fami is a friggin prodige! And now shes with the greatest band on the planet! (Either that or she really is a bloody alien chaps)
