I watched this movie when I was a kid, but ever since then this reference stuck with me and whenever I have to name something like a file or some profile and I can't come up with something, I just go with Bob. And when people get confused (cause I'm actually not Bob), I just smile and say "don't worry about it". It's amazing how little things in life impact us.

Found out WHY the 3D landscape panoramic shot was bad looking. It was UNFINISHED. The studio wanted the movie out sooner than was intended and so the staff had to cut corners. Hate CRUNCH TIMES!
Personally I actually like the raw 3DCGI, it gives a sense of outer worldliness. Like a lot of renpy visual novels are made with pretty basic environment graphics but indie games with that kind of graphics has its own charm.

That's the whole premise for the movie. The Titan Project was designed to make a new Earth, a new planet, and the Drej feared Humanity's limitless potential, so they attacked. Considering that a species that can create entire planets is one that is also going to need *a lot* of energy, and considering that the Drej are pure energy, it makes sense why they'd treat Humans as a threat.
I feel like it's a real tears of joy moment 🥲 as the human race coming towards their brand new home as if it was never destroyed 🌏🌎🌍 and after 15 long hard years of living in space 🌌, things are now right as rain 🌧️☔
Anyone else who can’t stand ”almost kisses”? Especially in this movie. A part where Cale and Akima were just about to kiss, only to be interrupted by sound of a flying object? I was so so so furious when they didn’t kiss. And I still am!

The graphics on the ship are amaing at 0:52. I feel like the CGI spent all their budget on that and then at 1:01 just decided to load in "Ground.PNG" for the terrain.

Maybe the TITAN can copy shapes of continents on earth while combining them in different ways? Humans would probably feel more at home, but most likely it's just to cut animation/artwork costs.

I have wondered this for years, and finally googled “planet bob earth 2” and this came up. I felt like crying. I thought I had managed to make it up somehow and it didn’t exist. 😭
I still wonder if all those ships at the end were part of the Drifter Colony conglomerate? I mean the colony's entire structure looks like it has been all welded together & I didn't see any distinctive ships that is capable of separating from it (apart from the Phoenix that they've restored).

I still wonder if all those ships at the end were part of the Drifter Colony conglomerate? I mean the colony's entire structure looks like it has been all welded together & I didn't see any distinctive ships that is capable of separating from it (apart from the Phoenix that they've restored).
They might not be necessarily part of the Colony, but other groups of humans.

sure, the CGI may suck, but you have to give Don Bluth credit. he really did try to make a great film. plus this film, is literally 2D-Animation. if there is CGI on it, it will suck.
