- Chopard has been on a run recently when combining the traditional and modern, and the new L.U.C. XPS Forest Green is another great example of this. While the initial appearance of its sector dial, Dauphine hands and dress watch case give entirely classical vibes, the use of the brand’s Lucent Steel and this deep green dial are entirely modern.

Only a true watch connoisseur will know how to appreciate the LUC. Too many are into hype watches n that's the sad case.
The L.U.C 1860 is my grail and this one right here is probably the closest thing I can reasonably expect to afford any time soon
Looks wonderful. Been considering to get a dedicated dress watch. Was deciding between a reverso or a used Breguet, might get this instead.
Both great, but LUC has a little extra spice as the brand is so consistent - care of Mr KFS, the man behind - Andrew
Very fine - although this hasn't got the movement finished to Geneva Seal or Qualite Fleurier standards as in some of the other LUCs, it's still very choice. I like that it isn't just a replica of an old watch, but has a mix of design elements, to give a retro-modern feel. I'd take this over a Rolex 1908 any day of the week, but the slightly smaller 1860 salmon dial version is the one I really want.
The price reflects that I'd say, reasonable for what it is - if you can get one ! Thanks for watching - Andrew

Quite honestly it would have been better to be a touch smaller at 38.5
Otherwise I can’t fault it. Exceptional design, lovely colour the movement is incredible and the steel looks gorgeous.
For me a calatrava beater, easily competes with the master ultra thin from JLC and on a par with the patrimony

That is stunning. Personally, I wish it was smaller, 36-38mm would make it top of my wish list. Big fan of the brand. Undeniably, from the back, the movement looks a little small for the case.
I know what you mean, however, the extra size gives it a little more weight and presence which I ultimately prefer - can see both sides - Andrew
great vid about a future classic. since I saw that watch (yesterday) it was instant love. Yes I really like Chopard. and yes, I'd love to have one...but it has to have the micro-rotor. and the added bonus that it is an LUC is the cherry on top. but the one I like has a price tag that is a bit rough...the Alpine Eagle with the micro seconds...this one comes with a very manageable price that motivates me to go to my AD and walk out with it.
Tend to agree - the ultimate cherry is that the price is very fair - I'm also considering this being first LUC for me - Andrew
