Can we recognize that when so many watches would be better off skipping a see-through sapphire case back in order to trim their thick cases, Chopard is adding a second case back and still registering less than 8mm. That's pretty outstanding
Good point, and it's not even they need to get rid of the exhibition casebacks. I have a watch with one, using an SW300 (based on the ETA 2892-A2). The movement is 1mm thinner than the SW200 (i.e. the 2824) and yet the watch is only 7.65mm thick. For an automatic with a date complication. So even watches using common calibres don't need to be anywhere near as thick as they are (granted the crystal is likely adding to the dimensions of most).
Chopard is a spectacular brand. They created one of the very best movements of all time in the 1.96, which is now serving as the base for their current LUC range. Their watch manufacturing credentials are spotless, and their expertise in high-end jewellery really shows up in their immaculate finishing. I never got people who think negatively of jewellers producing watches. I always found the idea that luxury watches are not jewellery to be laughable on its face.
I kept seeing this baseless claim that 1.96 is the best movement of ALL TIME without anything to substantiate. It’s a great movement, not a doubt. But the best of all time is kinda ridiculous
Saw the title. Clicked. Instant liked. Watched the whole thing because like you, I’m a HUGE fan of Chopard. Incredibly underrated and under appreciated.
Absolutely stunning watch. One great thing about Chopard is that you can still walk into a store and walk out with a very high quality watch. I'm tired of seeing beautiful watches online but realising that I'd have to go through the ridiculous obstacle course of buying models I don't want and waiting for years without any confidence that I'll ever be offered one.
Stunning. I absolutely agree that Chopard, especially the L. U. Chopard range, deserves more attention. I actually clicked on this video of yours specifically because it was not the usual hyped models or brands. Without reading other comments, I can assume the silly comments like "if only it were 34mm" or "the date window kills it" or "my is a fraction of the price but is better" or whatever. Nope. I really like this watch!
Glad you made this video. My most recent purchase was a Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Power Control. I've wanted one for years and finally found one in excellent condition for the right price. I love it, and it's exceeded my expectations in every way. It looks great and is running about +1 seconds a day. Can't say enough good things about it.
I think Chopard LUC watches represent some of the finest examples of independent watchmaking available. It is a joy for enthusiasts that the world of hype chasers hasn’t found Chopard. I own a 1860 36.5 Revolution Editon and it is just beautiful. It is a blessing no one knows what it is.
For assess Chopard in right manner one should own firstly desirable Rolex, Omega and Ulysse. After first experience of hype from crowd (which people really like more than watch itself) you come to the idea that watch should fit your requirements not others. It’s kind of second wave of watch expertise. For example before my Chopard Mille Miglia I was owner of black Daytona and Speedmaster. Both of them fantastic but you don’t feel your own face during the wearing! After couple of years of owning I swapped them to Chopard Mille Miglia Black Chronograph and Zenith Old Capitain Chronograph El Primero 🔥 They are giving me so much fresh emotions on daily basis! Two main features of Mille Miglia makes me very happy in comparison with Daytona and Speedmaster: 1) Size of 40.5mm is spectacular fittable for each people with different anatomy! Because 40mm with bezel looks small if your height more than 180cm and looks more elegant than Speedy’s 42mm. 2) Presence of compofortable date window even though it’s chromograph as well.
Fantastic video and fantastic watch Britt! But you're right, people really underestimate just how crazy good Chopard is, especially their LUC models! I mean i'm not Mr. Movement or anything like that but even I know that a Chopard movement is incredibly accurate and absolutely gorgeous to look at, starting back with their first in house 1.96 movement and the more famous LUC 16/1860. I used to view Chopard as just a fancy place I couldn't afford, but after digging deeper and watching this video, I realize that they are more than that, they are a fantastic watchmaker I still can't afford.
🤣🤣💕 yet another amazing watchmaker I can’t afford either! 😭 but you know, this watch just makes me so excited about watchmaking again. As much as I love a good old fashioned stainless steel sports watch, there’s something about watches like this that fill me with awe again!
Came here for the St. Moritz. Stayed because of the officers caseback. What a beautiful watch! And I agree with you, using your Dive watch to time your hard boiled eggs 🥚 doesn’t count as a “tool” watch lol😅
Thank you for making this video! I've never understood why Chopard is not well known in the watch community. I own three Chopard LUCs and they are incredible watches. Part of me wants to see the brand take off and part of me wants them to remain special and exclusive. Chopard's Co-CEO Karl-Friedrich Scheufele stated that they don't want to make more than 3,000-4,000 LUCs per year which makes these pieces extremely rare and special.
I bought a Chopard Mille Miglia 168955-3001 automatic way back in 2004 and it's still going strong now. The rubber 'tyre' strap is a bit ropey these days but they can be replaced. The ETA movement has been serviced twice in that time and is still accurate. Chopard remains relatively unknown for its watches, but they do manufacture some nice pieces IMO.
I like that so much and it's on my must buy list! Probably my next luxury watch purchase! I love the tyre strap but then again I love racing so I feel it goes along with the whole '1000 mile race' really well!
Great video. Beautiful dress watch. Not sure about the title officers watch, that seems to work more with Field watches imo. Cartier, make jewellery and watches, and there are those who want a one brand accessory adornment. Considering Cartier’s success, I see no reason why Chopard could not be their main competitor. You are of course spot on when you say watches are jewellery and that includes men too! 🙏🏻
Britt! That is a absolutely beautiful watch and example of fine horology. Thank you for reviewing a watch that I would not have paid attention to otherwise. I will say that every time you review a watch that I am unfamiliar with, I blame you for the hour or so I spend looking at all the options on their webpage. Now with this particular watch being well outside my price range, the L.U.C XP and XPS models are in my reach, and can be found pre-owned for a decent price. I may have to put them on my "perhaps" shopping list. Long Live the Cult(s)!!
They are in my “perhaps” list too!! 😅 I need a big settlement from being hit by that car so they can move their way into the “IM BUYING” list! 😝 but you know, it’s only recently that I’ve been going down the chopard rabbit hole!! Can’t stop thinking about them now. 😍
Thanks Britt for this video! What a lovely watch 😍 You're right, Chopard is a great manufacture. It's a shame that we don't hear enough about it. Thanks again for the video, Britt.
Nice break from the usual brands that get reviewed online. I like it when I find out about a brand I'm not familiar with. I love the style, too. It reminds me of my Tissot Tradition, except that the Chopard is leagues beyond it. Amazing that it has a cover for the display caseback, yet it's still so thin. You knocked it out of the park with this video.
I got to handle this (exact model I believe) at a WatchCrunch meet in London up earlier this year. It’s gorgeous. I also visited the Chopard boutique on Old Bond street while I was there and got to see many of their watches, including a few from their vault! They have amazing watches.
Excellent insight into the nature of perceived value within the 'herd'. (I'm one of the herd - just saying) It's good to hear a positive 'cri-de-coeur' for other brands. Enthusiasts enjoy change, it refreshes and broadens the market we all hunt in. Happy to see your teeth are now in the open position - it must be rather satisfying like pushing the button on a Chopard!
More of this please! Chopard make great pieces and the LUC line are really something!! The secondary market has perpetual calendars for maybe less than 30K!! Great value!!
It's a watch that makes you smile, glad you enjoyed borrowing it . Not many watches out there that are near perfect ,this one isn't (noisy rotor) but it's very close .Bring on the Doxa review😊😊
I’ve been wanting to try on the alpine eagle xps as well. Really like the no-date and symmetry. The salmon dial must be amazing in person. I’m on the waiting list for overseas though… 🤔
Great video Britt! Totally agree. Chopard is one of the true hidden gems in the watch world, especially their L.U.C watches. I've bought the 1937 Classic with the white porcellan dial which doesn't look that special at first glance. But if you take a look at the automatic manufcature calibre 01.01-L you know what's going on. The watch currently retails for 9.220 Euros in Germany. Which isn't too bad considering what you'll get (e.g. full alligator strap on BOTH sides!). BUT the crazy thing is that you can pick these up for around 5.500€. And for THAT money this watch is simply incredible! And you feel it everywhere. From the case, the dial, the strap to the beautifully finished movement. This is a true high horology watch for the price of an Oyster Perpetual (retail...) or an mass-produced Omega sports watch.
Great video Brit! It’s nice to see vids on other brands besides cartier, Rolex, omega and Tudor. You said it yourself in the beginning of the video, no one talks about them because steel sports watches do better view view. The best way to expose the watches is to make videos like these. You and Andrew from t&t are the only ones I’ve seen talk about this brand. Keep on going and making these awesome vids. Looks like your jaw is healing up pretty well.
Yeah we want to see more Chopard here! I like the Mille Miglia chronograph especially the white 39mm! Find a way to be sponsored! Yes you! Not Jene E (she's into Rolex only) or anybody else!
Thanks for this vid LUC Chopard are great watch brand with great movements especially 1860 models which some developed by great watch maker such as Michel Parmigiani thanks again ✌️
Nice! Finally someone with an independent opinion. It took me a LONG TIME. LONG TIME to figure that MOST of the “good watches” are the ones that gray market dealers get the most margins on. THANK YOU! For recognizing a non hype watch.
Oh my God....what a sensational beauty. You are absolutely right Britt! And yes it does seem good value. Don't know how they would hold value but with only 50 pieces I suspect they will only go up. So, what would my alternative holy grail be? Chopard (because you convinced me), Lange (yes, just awsome) and....Cartier(another jewelry brand) because you and I know they make the best designs. All the best! And thanks for this video.
I will say that LUC make incredible watches. My biggest problem with them is that their watches rarely come in a colour combination that appeals to me. They always make a new line only to release it in one or two colour/material combinations and never expand on it. The watch you featured in this video for example; i would love it in steel or white gold with a black or ivory dial.
Ahhhh! I’ll never grow tired of this introduction! 🤣💕💕💕💕 you know! This watch really got me excited about fine watchmaking again! I wish I could afford this!!!
I clicked on the video. I think chopard is cool + that case back wow. In the sea of subs, Daytonas, et Al. Always makes me happy to spot one of these out in the wild. You always get that look like oh they know about it too from the wearer (like a secret handshake) Tbh, let the hype and crypto bros have the sports steel hotness. I’m happy with the less talked about, under the radar watches. By the way, I still haven’t got my BB54.. BUT! I got a sweet DJ41 Rosegold Wimbledon dial!!! Weeee 😊
I'm here for you, Britt. We don't need another stainless steel dive watch, the world doesn't need another stainless steel dive watch. It's scary how much you read my mind or could be a separated watch twin. Chopard are excellent and very often forgotten about (no idea how they keep going -- although looking on Chrono24 I'm guessing women's watches with loose diamonds in the dial...). I'd love a 2000s era LUC 1.96 but I'm not sure my pockets are deep enough. As Baltic have shown, the world wants more microrotors.
Exceptional decision. Most watches are plain vanilla (I’m thinking of one manufacturer particularly), and I sometimes sense that the frequency of outright ugly increases with the price tag. But here, you made an inspired choice.
I LOVE CHOPARD! This watch is FIRE!!!!! I love the concealed case back and u can open it and see the movement, thats so dope and something nobody else is doing. And if we replacing someone in the Holy Trinity, we gotta stop disrespecting Rolex. Without Rolex, AP and PP don't have the popularity they have today. AP, PP Rolex holy trinity
There are some gorgeous LUC to be found on the used market for comparatively little money. They just don’t retain value which makes then horological bargains. I have one on the radar I like, uncommon complication, white gold and Geneva seal for under 9k. Just hope it doesn’t sell before I shift my Submariner!
I bet a lot of people click on this video. I like videos that aren't just about Rolex and top brands. Keep em coming. That is a gorgeous watch. I do like the Alpine Eagle dial but not sure about the bracelet.
Thank you for bringing Chopard to my attention. Years ago, they were famous for Happy Diamonds Watches and I guess I let that define them. While the L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer is a beautiful watch, if you find it too large, look at the L.U.C 1860 which is 36.5 mm, stainless steel, but without the officer’s case back.
For those old timers like me who remember "The Adventures of Superman", George Reeves wore his own personal Chopard when he played Clark Kent. (Superman didn't wear watches) It was a gift from his paramore Toni Mannix, who was rich and apparently generous. One can see his beautiful 1950's model on his wrist every now and then..
Great video. Thank you for making it. Years ago, I fell for the Rolex hype and bought a Sub (like most people do). However, as time went on, I learned more about horology and realized I bought into an amazing marketing machine and not necessarily an amazing watch. So I sold it, and never bought another Rolex again. Today I own a few watches; some are less expensive than a Sub, some are more expensive than a Sub but all of them are definitely more interesting than a Sub. Thankfully, my taste has evolved and the ugly green box no longer captures my interest. Just recently, I was itching for a new dive watch and had a budget of $10K. Sure I could have bought another Rolex but instead I bought what I found much more interesting: A Longines Ultra-Chron hi-beat. What a stunner. Sapphire bezel, 10 beats per second, five year warranty, silicon hair spring, anti-magnetic...respected history...so much value for money. Some will say the resale is not good, but I don't buy watches for resale, I only buy them for my personal enjoyment (same goes for my cars, clothing and jewelry). If I were interested in resale, I would buy stock in Berkshire Hathaway. For my next watch, I will be giving Chopard a look and might add one to my collection. I hope more people evolve like I did and move past the marketing hype and give other brands a chance.
Longines it's pure class, lot's of great choices and always great aesthetics, don't get it why most brands can't achieve that......I like the Chopard Mille Miglia 2020, with the dark finish.
Nice! Finally someone with an independent opinion. It took me a LONG TIME. LONG TIME to figure that MOST of the “good watches” are the ones that gray market dealers get the most margins on.
There is a jeweler around here that only sells Chopard and jewellery and nothing else. I was indeed surprised and when I inquired why he did so, he said something like: one day you will understand... Great stuff! (BTW: did you know they still make CLOCKS? Great ones too!)
This is why we watch “Watch Gringa!” The L.U. Chopard you have there is stunning and elegant! I would never consider buying (even if I had that kind of money) a Rolex of AP, or many other ultraluxury brands. This, I would. (VC I would also, BTW.) To put an automatic movement AND a Hunter / Display caseback on a watch only 7.2mm thick is unbelievable! My only complaint: “Limited to 50 pieces.” A watch this beautiful should be far more available. Great video as always, Gringa! Doing something that no one else is doing and doing it well. (Now, let’s get that subscriber count to 100k!) 😎⌚️🍾🎉
ITS THAT MAGICAL TIME OF THE WEEEEK! 💕💕💕 absolutely love this watch!!! I just need to magic up £30K so I can buy one…. 🤣🧐💕💕💕 Hope you’re having the most gorgeous weekend Fernando! Sending you all our love!
Forever out of my price range Britt but they are beautiful watches they should sponsor you now that your channel and influence is growing and your right a watch for the most part is a fashion accessory very few people with dive watches go diving keep up the good work I'm loving your quizzes buy the way 🙂
🤣 I think they might be forever out of mine too! Unless a lot of people like comment subscribe! 🤣💕💕💕 And bless! I’m so glad you’re loving the little daily quiz! Just a bit of fun!
You might wan't to check L.U.C Chopard Pro One Diver. I know that design in this one is not for everyone, but there is a L.U.C finishing and movement in real bargain price. I wen't to buy nice summer diver couple of years back from local gray dealer. Original plan was BB or Seamaster. However there was Pro One available and I was really stunned by the dial finish. Decided to low-ball and got the watch way below of price used BB. Even after the service at factory it was cheaper than bying a used Tudor... Original rubber strap looks afwul in this one, changed to aftermarket and now really happy with the watch. Only issue is that my Rolex and tudors look really cheap now, when comparing to L.U.C
Micro rotor love❤❤, I can see how a Laurent Ferrier fan might appreciate this, geneva seal an all. The Officers refers to trench watches with hunter lids, as does the perhaps excessive bridging like a converted pocket watch? In trms of cririticism the auto tie ins seem naff and there are alot of spudly models, loke the Eagle🥔 This is a great Vid, horology for real value fiends, a Chopard chrono on the grey is an astonishingly good value
JAMES BLONDE! Yes! Micro rotor love! 😍😍😍 my favourite Patek also has a divine micro rotor, the 7200. (I also have insufficient funds for that one 🤣) but absolutely lovely. And thank you so much for this history of the officers! 💕💕💕 this is inspiring me to spend the rest of my night researching officer casebacks 😈
Cartier, Bvlgari and Chopard are all underrated as watch makers. Today we no longer need watches for time keeping; we just look at our phones. There is no doubt in my mind that every wrist watch is a piece of jewelry. Thank you for mentioning Chopard’s 1.96 movement. After all it is the movement that separates a watch from every other piece of jewelry. When we talk about watches we mostly talk about dials, hands, markers, case and movement finishing. For most watches we gloss over the movement’s functionality. The things that many of us value in watches are the same things we value in jewelry. It’s surprising to me that people pay ungodly amounts for a stainless steel watch. I certainly would demand platinum.
Cartier is regarded as a jeweler. Their contributions to horology are underrated. You may want check your numbers according to the New York Times Casio produced 38 million watches in their fiscal 2022 year. By volume no luxury brand comes close.
Visually that is one of the most beautiful watches I’ve ever seen and I’ve definitely slept on it. However, what does make the movement so special aside from the exceptional finishing? Thin? Power reserve? Complexity? Nice review as always!
I love the fact that you make the effort to correct the pronunciation of these brands. The guys at TheTimePiece Gentlemen called Patek Philippe "Paddeck", quite a turn off
I have asked my self that question, I think it's super interesting. And also AP has done some non-holy-trinity stuff. For me the new HT could be Breguet, A. Lange and (maybe) JLC.
I think Vacheron still does amazing stuff and hasn't waivered on quality, so they deserve their spot. Of the three you mentioned, I find Breguet to be more interesting and definitely a name that needs to be included as part of the trinity. It's got the richest history out of any brand. Breguet innovations were far ahead of its time.
The Chopard LUC XP (in blue specifically) is such a nice dress watch that it makes me wish I worked in a more formal setting so I could justify getting and wearing one. I absolutely love these watches and the micro-rotor is just the epic frosting on the Chopard cake. I mean, you get the movement visibility of a manual wind with the beauty of a rotor, what else could make it better?
I know this is 8 months old, but I think the general perspective about Chopard is still true. It's still kind of crazy when you think that Cartier, another jewelry brand, seems to get more respect from watch enthusiasts. Anyway, I've been trying to build my aspirational 5-watch collection and I was missing a dress watch. Not anymore!
So even watches using common calibres don't need to be anywhere near as thick as they are (granted the crystal is likely adding to the dimensions of most).
I love open case backs. Won't buy a watch that is a solid caseback. None of my watches are solid caseback.
RIGHT?! Very well said!!!
Nah bro, I wanna see that movement

I am absolutely smitten by the Chopard LUC GMT One. I cannot think of any ther watch I would want more. Keep up the good work Britt- love your work.
Black ceramised titanium? Got it, love it
The movement really does looks very very beautiful..and “desk diver” spot on 😂
Chopard Indeed is one of the best watchmakers. Heavily underrated for an unknown reason. Absolutely great that you made this video.
I appreciate your review here. LUC is probably the best value in the biz right now.
Britt you look like you've recovered well from the accident so awesome. And you've nailed the point home about this brand excellently.
Oh bless!! Thank you so much! I am finally feeling almost back to normal! 💕 it’s amazing how the body heals!

Stunning, that back open case and movement it's amazing, it's absurd how rare that is in the industry of watches .
I like the officer's case back and it has a beautiful movement.
Thank you so much Britt for opening my eyes a bit about Chopard. Love your channel

WOOOOAH! That is insanely accurate! What a find! Biggest congrats EVER to you adding this amazing watch to your collection! 😍😍
Gringa your reviews are amazing, and get better all the time, also nice to see your jaw seems to be a lot better.
Keep up the good work 😊

Agreed! I have the OG LUC 1860, and I would take that over Patek Calatrava any day.

Chopard LUC watches are exquisite. I love them. Completely overlooked and under appreciated.

Thanks Britt for this video! What a lovely watch 😍

These watches are fantastic. Never bought an LUC, but I certainly would.
OK that watch is real deal
BTW, your voice is 95% back, awesome healing, congratulations
AHHA is here!! 💕💕💕 ahhh I feel 95% now too! It’s amazing how quick the body heals! ✨
Leading the RUclips watch community with this wonderful & original content Britt! 💪
Nice video and what a stunning watch. I use a watch decoratively and my favorite segment of watches is dress watches.
Love the new 1860 luc at 36mm and without a date. And the phenomenal alpine eagle xps this year.
I have a LUC 1937. It is fantastic watchmaking with thoughtful details and engineering.
Excellent insight into the nature of perceived value within the 'herd'. (I'm one of the herd - just saying) It's good to hear a positive 'cri-de-coeur' for other brands. Enthusiasts enjoy change, it refreshes and broadens the market we all hunt in.

That Chopard fits your wrist well, better than you may believe!
Chopard design like this is just stunning, the same movement goes into the new Alpine Eagle XPS, can't wait to try that on my wrist.
Right?! I think about the alpine eagle REGULARLY! 🤣💕 lovely watches!
I’ve been wanting to try on the alpine eagle xps as well. Really like the no-date and symmetry. The salmon dial must be amazing in person. I’m on the waiting list for overseas though… 🤔
@@vl507 How about gen 1 Overseas? It's an Overseas but the bracelet reminds me of the Alpine Eagle, best of both world? 😄
Another great video, Britt! Love LUC!
Yes you! Not Jene E (she's into Rolex only) or anybody else!
i actually love that not many people talk about it, I don;'t want them to be tarnished like Audemars
I have the Chopard LUC Quattro 1863 and the fact that you can get a rose gold hand guilloche dial with COSC and Geneva seal for around 10k is criminal
L U Chopard is a real gem. 💎
Thank you for giving due diligence to REAL horological refinement.
Learned a lot about this brand, thanks Britt
Oh my God....what a sensational beauty. You are absolutely right Britt! And yes it does seem good value. Don't know how they would hold value but with only 50 pieces I suspect they will only go up. So, what would my alternative holy grail be? Chopard (because you convinced me), Lange (yes, just awsome) and....Cartier(another jewelry brand) because you and I know they make the best designs. All the best! And thanks for this video.
Chopard as a watch brand is sooooo underrated! This is one of the most beautiful dress watches i have ever seen.
Hi Britt, I did click the thumbs up not really because I like that watch but I loved your presentation. Keep the good job 👍
They just released one this year in 36mm with an incredible salmon dial encased in gold. A stunning watch.
Hello my dear Bond Girl 😅😇😎 My answer is YES. Chopard has very nice watches, and this one.... wow, just wow :)
Ahhhh! I’ll never grow tired of this introduction! 🤣💕💕💕💕 you know! This watch really got me excited about fine watchmaking again! I wish I could afford this!!!
@@BrittPearceWatches yup, me too 😅
Beautiful watch. Stunning. Your question about who would you add to the trinity - the obvious answer besides JLC is Breguet
I clicked on the video. I think chopard is cool + that case back wow. In the sea of subs, Daytonas, et Al. Always makes me happy to spot one of these out in the wild. You always get that look like oh they know about it too from the wearer (like a secret handshake)
Tbh, let the hype and crypto bros have the sports steel hotness.
The watch is a work of art. I would really like to see a review of the LUC XPS Forest Green sector dial.
There are steel XPS with the same movement. Have one. Love it.
What a stunning watch
Sunday is Gringa-day. Keep this awesome content coming
It’s that magical day of the week! Thabk you sooo so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed! 💕💕💕
Love this 🫶🏽
Wow. Very cool. He was a great Superman
Definitely much more than the marketing driven omega and rolex
Thank you for bringing some attention to this awesome brand.
Lovely watch. I love the case back. By the way, I'm always up for YT's with non trinity watches!
F***********k, that caseback. I’m in love. Thanks to you my lottery win watch list is getting so long I will need to start trying for a second win!
Gringa sundaaaaay 🔥🙌🏻
This watch is in another level 🤩
Hope you had a fantastic weekend B.
ITS THAT MAGICAL TIME OF THE WEEEEK! 💕💕💕 absolutely love this watch!!! I just need to magic up £30K so I can buy one…. 🤣🧐💕💕💕
Hope you’re having the most gorgeous weekend Fernando! Sending you all our love!
Thanks for this. Feels like a brand I should know better but don’t. The watch world can be myopic so content like this is appreciated
love the vids! dress watches exude class and this one is no exception
Right?! Pure class on the wrist. 😍 I didn’t feel very motivated to give it back to Julian! 😝
And bless! I’m so glad you’re loving the little daily quiz! Just a bit of fun!
Beautiful Reference, B! Cheers 🥂
I love that watch! I'm going to start saving 😅
AGREE, love their boutique store , close to Plac Vendome, Paris , France.
Oh I'm gonna click on it my friend. I adore their watches. Seems like a brand that you could land as an "exit watch"
Right?! I couldn’t agree more! 😍😍
Fantastic watch LUC range fantastic value for what you get!
Micro rotor love❤❤, I can see how a Laurent Ferrier fan might appreciate this, geneva seal an all. The Officers refers to trench watches with hunter lids, as does the perhaps excessive bridging like a converted pocket watch? In trms of cririticism the auto tie ins seem naff and there are alot of spudly models, loke the Eagle🥔
This is a great Vid, horology for real value fiends, a Chopard chrono on the grey is an astonishingly good value
Your videos get better and better.
How is cartier even remotely underrated? They are the third largest watchmaker by volume after rolex and seiko
Cartier is regarded as a jeweler. Their contributions to horology are underrated. You may want check your numbers according to the New York Times Casio produced 38 million watches in their fiscal 2022 year. By volume no luxury brand comes close.
That stands out as a real beauty....thanks for giving it love!
It’s nice to talk about different watches!
Visually that is one of the most beautiful watches I’ve ever seen and I’ve definitely slept on it. However, what does make the movement so special aside from the exceptional finishing? Thin? Power reserve? Complexity? Nice review as always!
Chopard makes some incredible watches and this one is simply stunning
Chopard LUC XPS Twist QF in White Gold. One of the most beautiful dress watches on the market right now. Insanely elegant
Right?! It’s just so dang lovely! I have a real dress watch itch at the moment 😍
This is absolutely lovely. I’d buy one if I could afford it.
Chopped in my eyes is in the same category of JLC. That elegant borderline decadent luxury that is timeless.
We got a few of these in the watch store I work in, they are just wonderful watches especially those with the Geneva seal!
Your videos are so proffesional now 😮
I know this is 8 months old, but I think the general perspective about Chopard is still true. It's still kind of crazy when you think that Cartier, another jewelry brand, seems to get more respect from watch enthusiasts. Anyway, I've been trying to build my aspirational 5-watch collection and I was missing a dress watch. Not anymore!
