- Ronnie Fieg, and the company he founded, Kith, is likely no stranger to anyone here. He was, in fact, featured in Volume 3 of Hodinkee magazine as one of the great collectors of footwear in this world. Today, Kith has stores all over the world - 16 of them and growing - and to celebrate each of them, Ronnie has a watch. But he hasn't stopped there - Ronnie is a serious collector of serious watches. And in this 30 minute episode, you'll see some of his favorites.

parents didn't have a lot of money, gets gifted a tag heuer on his 12th birthday
Yeah and his Uncle was David Z… but he just happened to leave that out… Guy tries to make it seem like he made it from nothing. He had a network from birth lol
The one thing I hate about.. people is the dishonesty that comes with these their stories .. just because you have an opportunity or access to opportunities doesn’t mean you didn’t work hard.. it just annoys my soul..
Classic Jew....
The whole thing is fake.
@@GlassPiffJar such a slimy dude. All those stories were fake.
hahaha turns out to be another advertisement after the announcement of kith heuer collab😅
"What do you mean a collection like this?" Ronnie had to show him he's still from Queens. Great video :)
😂 he almost had to check Ben right there
Ben meant no ill intent by saying this. Ronnie is just insecure.
😂 - the interviewer was sweating 😅- Ronnie is a Boss
@@Os_-tw4ot hahahahaha so true. You could see Ben thinking Oh damn how do I get out of this one!
timestamp?
so this was just a commercial then...
So with todays Tag press release we see this vid was all just another Hodinked advert
“Advertorial”
Disgraceful advertising... what has this thing become.... shame
Yup that was a nice ad for the new Kith-TAG collab, it almost looked like it wasn't... almost
I watched this last week and thought what a great interview. Little did I know this was just a stupid ADVERTISEMENT for the Tag watches. You used to be better than this and more authentic.
It's business man, one day you'll understand
@user-hx8ge2sh3d their ship is sinking and they know it. That's why Jack Forster and others left. But thanks for your condecending comment.
@@user-hx8ge2sh3doh wow you so intelligent
Loooool 2024 and you don’t know how business and promotion works oh wow
@AshBashSneakers oh I do but I guess you don't know authenticity. Hodinkee was a place for real watch collectors not people like you and this cheap subliminal advertisement. But the fact that they have resorted to this and that many significant staff leaving just goes to show the health of this business. Just stay in your lane when you can't see the obvious.
As a Vitality member and long time reader of Hodinkee, this video made me very happy.
Vitality bros 🤝
The real question is did LVMH pay for this talking watches or did you do it for free since they are part owner?
The Vacheron story is so fucking cool.
Love it
Hodinkee and Kith are both hilarious jokes of companies
Great collection. Love this guy and his story.
that’s an incredible episode. hodinkee, this is what makes you awesome.
Basic channel for basic ppl.
Great episode! Thanks!
I can't tell you how long I've waited for this, Ronnie has always kept some serious quality watches on his wrist, for years. So much so that its ads to his lore and his specific sensibilities of quality, simply can not be denied. It's taken him entirely too long to sit down to talk about these sensibilities with regard watches. I'm glad we're here now.
Same!! Been waiting for this for a while
Doing flips on it
@@Stankonia1996 you seem to like mine's though
This is what you do best Ben. More of this. Keep up the great work
This is a great collector focused video and I appreciate the way he collects.
Love seeing the thought behind the collection... collecting in sets, and his particularity for integrated straps/bracelets.
Excellent episode, great collector, collection, interview, and production.
Whenever it’s talking watches of someone if heard of it’s always a win. Thanks Ronnie for showing us your collection
Amazing video, inspiring story by Ronnie, and incredible watches. Great to know that he waits for watches like the rest of us - but he can get the AP CEO on the phone😂😂
I would hate to be APs CEO and have all these rich people call me to get some stuff faster than the other.
Loving the old Tags! Hah. Awesome collection
This was fantastic. Nothing but love for both brands!
Wow. Unreal ep. Love Ronnie. I love how he a true collector (needs everything in every color) and also has been into watches before they were hype.
A true collector? He’s buying the most popular watches on earth. With unlimited money buying every green dial DD and DJ? Not exactly a very interesting collection.
I gotta say this interview is one of my favorites. What a great collection
Great conversation !
This was excellent.. I love his sneaker collabs and clothing.. didn’t know he was SUCH a big watch guy.
Excellent episode, man is a cool customer with a great collection!
A genuine watch collector with excellent taste - in the John Mayer style …….
Brilliant
I don't understand fashion. Dude's wearing sunglasses and a Patagonia rain jacket...indoors. haha
Pretty sure he's comfortable.
@@JakeGittes84 no doubt. I live in NY and wear rain jackets often. But I would never wear one indoors b/c I couldn't get away w/ it. Ppl don't even question when someone like him does strange things clothing-wise.
@@JakeGittes84or uncomfortable, in a psychological sense.
Spot on 😂😂😂
@@dmccoynywhy worry about what people think / will ask. You do you bro
Brilliant stuff. I feel exactly the same about the straps and cases.
Same here
Ben dodged that Vacheron question like it was the Matrix!
so sick, this has gotta be one of the coolest episodes of all time much respect to ronnie and his story
Could someone tell me when "sick" became a positive, as opposed to a negative. It used to be a defined as being unwell or vomiting. I'll tell you this, I would feel pretty sick paying $350 for a Kith baseball cap.
Great vid hodinkee more of this
This isn’t an ad at all 😶🌫️
What a treat ! A lazy Tag Heuer from the 80s is back… 😂
Great episode. I like the way he collects.
This is Hodinkee as we know it and love it 🙏🏼
Amazing Collection!! Was there for the Travis story too, it was a wild night ✨😂. Great video Ben
Great stuff!
I love when talking watches intersects with founder talk 🔥
My favorite TW so far. KITH X Hodinkee X UNIMATIC. Make it happen!
21:21 the most intense and confrontational moment in the history of Talking Watches. Ben Clymer is saying VC is of the old money aura, which ain’t you Ronnie! 😂 Btw: Ronnie is an awesome and accomplished person; my hats off to him.
I enjoyed that moment 😅some healthy honest awkwardness
Ben didn’t flinch. Good stuff
Ronnie calling the dial a face too lol Ronnies the man!
Ronnie is about Kendall Roy's age and he wears a hat like our number one boy. Plus he is also New York royalty. Of course he is Vacheronista.
@@nuno.maia.p6493lol I love this comparison. They even look somewhat similar, come to think of it.
You know when Ben is interviewing on Talking Watches it’s going to be a big one
Or they had to fire all the folks who used to do them
This was fantastic. Slowly seeing a return to form for talking watches and it’s awesome.
Ben is unlocking his inner Dandy.
White skinny jeans and a bright patterned ascot. Might be fine in the middle of summer on the coast but not in the city lol
@@michaelh8854 He looks ridiculous.
@@christianellopmyes
Loved this episode, great guy and amazing collection!!
just another advert now. i want to say i expected more but meh.
He brought some real heat.
Love it when two people I follow meet!
Awesome video! Please tell me there is a KITH/Hodinkee Collab coming soon ❤
Amazing episode !! Great job Ben, love it
Nice! Mike Tyson said Kith was his favorite band
Great “old school”, by that I mean with Ben, episode!
That Vacheron Royal is unbelievable. I’ve never seen that before.
David Z is Ronnie Fieg’s dad, seems like he left out some important details.
Uncle. But yes, I agree a crucial detail lol
LOL. Thanks for pointing that out. Props to his success, but that information was definitely omitted on purpose
Also that he is an Israeli ...
@@HEATSEEKER00 dude what’s with the antisemitism on every reply you have 🤣
@@daniellogansa8101 noticing things is not anti semitism …
This video was the most enjoyable yet - well done! And wow, what a collection ...
I’ve been saying the same thing about only being interested in watches with integrated bracelets/straps!!
I wonder if he will buy the new Vacheron with the green dial? It’s stunning. I also didn’t know Vacheron is for senior citizens? LOL
The funny thing about the 222 is that there is one sold for 10k less than the MSRP at my local dealer, GBT in Nyon Switzerland. Its not holding the price.
And doesn't make it any less, incredible watch
Cool episode. I’m a bit surprised at the build quality of that Vacheron.
Maybe I’m just boring but the sunglasses indoors are really bothering me ngl, mainly because in a lot of the shots at least on my tiny phone screen you can’t see his eyes too well, makes story telling feel less idk genuine
Good episode guys 🐉
Man has taste! 👏
Cool through and through.
Ronnie is the goat. Can’t wait to watch!
salute your productivity Hodinkee
Love the VCs and the Aquanauts...
My first time seeing Ronnie. Going to get into more of his ventures. Seems like a really cool guy
When it comes to products, there are some exceptional ones that change the experience forever, whatever the path of life, furniture, car, pillow, shoes etc. Back in 2016 I bought asics gel v. Since then, I've owned maybe 8 of them. People keep asking, why do I wear the same runners and my answer is genuine, they're the most comfortable I've ever wore so why to change? As my search for these continued, I came across expensive ones with THIS MANS name attached and I wondered who is he. Thanks hodinkee- now, not only i know who he is, I also share he's passion for product, fine product
Ben must have been smitten when Ronnie said his dream car is the M1 (Ben has one in a gorgeous dark blue).
Cool Dude 🤙
Instant classic
Really rooting for Hodinkee to pull through the rough patch they got themselves in with the whole Crown & Caliber thing & growing too much too fast. LOVED Hodinkee when it was a skeleton crew 6 years ago. Hopefully Ben can right the ship. I’m even letting the ads play all the way through so YT has to pay up more 😂
Hodinkee should do a Ben's collection video
I’m with him on the point about integrated straps/bracelets. I think Rolex integrates their bracelets very nicely, good example is the jubilee end links.
One of the best Hodinkee Videos for me!! Thank you!
El verdadero valor de algo está en el gran recuerdo de una época nostálgica creo que el mejor de todos el F1 qué bonito recuerdo para usted
He’s planning for rain.
Good episode.
More style trendsetters please! Like Teddy Santis from ALD, Pharrell who now works w/ LV, Brendon from Noah. So many options big and small
That's a precious scarf Ben.
Same as my first watch tag F1
His reaction on "collections like this" 🤣
The guy knows deep down his collection is like his own brand
So dope. Love it!
Ben saved the "collection like this" comment haha
This was great
Still has on the ascot that he was wearing while applying lacquer finish to his burl-walnut trim on his Boston Whaler.
What sunglasses is Ronnie wearing ?
❤❤
Class content! Such a cool collection!
Hodinkee in its Hypebeast phase
21:20 was making sure he wasn't calling him a hypebeast hahah
Great episode. Wonder why he was wearing a loud rustling rain jacket indoors.
Good guest.
This guy may have been born in Queens, but he stopped being from New York a long time ago.
Crazy watches.
Wow. 42 and here I am at 38 dwindling my thumbs
Cool guy.
Yo is that a set of powerbends in the background?
1500 bucks for a plastic quartz watch is hilarious
