Look up the kill count of German tanks to Soviet tanks. They lost the overall war yeah but their tanks weren't inferior in tank to tank combat (when they worked).
@@senseishu937that may be true but the Battle of Kursk, the single biggest Tank battle in history , was a resounding victory for the Soviets and a major defeat for the Germans which ultimately led to them being pushed back to Berlin
@@ciaranmcguinness8900 True, I'm not exactly sure what was the exact cause behind the loss though. The Soviets did have double the amount of tanks and more than double the amount in troops so that definitely played a part but I forgot what happened to cause it to be such a loss for the Germans.
If it was real life, the Soviet side would have 4x the tanks as the Germans. The Germans would camp at spawn and shoot at the advancing Soviets until they get outflanked and destroyed because German side armor besides the Tigers were shit.

Actually the "SU-152" (based on the KV-1S chassis) is a later JSU-152 (JS tank chassis). Nice to see some old style wargaming!

All the tabletop stuff is always expensive, that's why there's a huge market of 3d printed miniatures that are waaaaaay cheaper

The russian assault gun you showed is not the su-152 ...its the isu-152....the su is based on the chassis of the t34 tank....the isu on the is tank.... you see the difference at the road wheels
SU-152 based on KV, not T-34. ISU-152 based on IS.
@@saratov99 my Bad…. I had a Brain fart … you’re right…the su 100 was based on the T34….the upper hull of the su and the isu are differently…the su is slimmer/smaller
Such a small terrain for heavy tanks. The Sherman literally just ran to middle of the map in the first move.
Disclaimer: No knowledge about table top game, if the map is really meant to be in that size, man it is not fun to play long range vehicles at all... I would rather put my lineup as something like JagPanther, Panzer IV Ausf. H, Panther Ausf. A/D, Marder III...
It's meant to be a combined arms fight, this many tanks is rare
@@Achillesnic Yeah, I thought bolt action is more geared towards infantry, 'cause it's all in 28mm, Flames of war is better suited for large tank battles imho.
