So powerful, such pure and emotional song.. people in the audience are even crying 4:56 and I'm crying with them.. because we who cry have something deep buried that we can't let go of, either something terrible, awful, or very sad in our life... and this song, of many, brings out our emotions so we can finally cry, it's nothing bad about it, and afterwards when you have cried.. you will feel, Edit: The Cure.
I'm with you 100 percent!!! No matter where they played he sung this song with truth and spirit.Straight from the heart!!!Being human means we're very emotional anything less makes us wild beast. This is truly a great song good for the soul.Thank you for your beautiful comment.
Yes, so true, sometimes I m so broken that I can't listen to it then I search for it and cry thinking of my Lost love that I letted go because of my Ego...
listen to him now..just toured in 2022 I believe and still sounds the same..when he does "Friday I'm In Love".. close your eyes and feel you are back in day it came out.
Fuck! what a powerful presentation !! This theme reaches my soul and makes my heart explode into a thousand pieces. The only time I saw them live, in Buenos Aires 2013, when they started playing this one, I already had a heart a thousand an hour and tears were coming alone, my makeup was like Brandon Lee's in The Crow, but ... I was happy although I cried with emotion the whole song.
The irony that I didn't discover this group till I heard it being used as a cover for an add about funeral homes and someone else was singing the bridge slowly almost talking it. (over 10 years ago now!!).... once I found the original on RUclips and it was the 86" live version..I was literally hooked on the cure and have almost every album... thank God for Spotify in this day and age..
una de las canciones mas hermosas de la banda the cure y sobre todo la cancion pictures of you en esa version es mas tierna y super triste .. m gusta muchoooooooooooooooooooooo
My favorite live version of this great song.
"If only I'd thought of the right words...." Crushing - and how.
