I’ve been picking up a bunch of 88 Films titles recently and I’ve noticed how many of their titles are from the video nasties lists, 88 definitely love to get the nitty gritty flicks instead of the more mainstream stuff Arrow have been going for lately. Can’t wait for the top 10 from 88!

Great video mate and looking forward to your future video's. I've always been on the fence with setting up a RUclips channel. Got a massive collection of physical media, 4K, Bluray, DVD, Vinyl etc. Nice list of video nasties too :)

Hi John, During the 80’s video store days I would pop into my local vhs store as a young teen looking at these gory video nasties covers on the shelves 🤔. And actually the store we were members of they use to have a shelf in the back of horror video nasties like “Cannibal Holocaust” “I spit on your grave” “Xtro” “Driller killer” “The burning” “The Evil dead” & “The Bogey man” & sometimes we they did get banned they were still getting rented by under the counter & one had to ask them 😬the days of video horror nasties rental days 😎
I was so pleased to see this was a list of 20 films! I must pick up evilspeak and the devil hunter. Fantastic as always John, I look forward to part 2! :)

So many titles there I recognised but have totally forgotten the actual plot, lol! I remember finding it pretty tough going getting through the Ilsa SS movies. My eyeballs were permanently rolling back in my head, lol.

Cool. Ive got the same releases of most of these and was even lucky enough to pick up this release of The Last Horror Film w booklet cheap a while back. Should start watching more of them.

Hey John, always great content, but I have a cheeky question for ya: Considering the fact you only discuss HD filums, why are yoúr uploads never above 720p ?
Cheers mate 🤩🤩👍👍good question! You would think I would go for a 4k video if possible, the answer is, just for time and speed! If I set my settings for 4k, it takes a really long time to upload and I don't think RUclips will render the video at 4k, probably 1080p, so I can't go any lower but 720 serves a purpose for uploads not taking hours to render 🤔😲😄 so it's sort of a time thingy 🥴🤣 cheers though, and not cheeky at all bud 😊😊👍👍
Another great video mate! I really like these top 10 - 20 lists. 88 fiims is my favourite British boutique label and their limited editions they are usually cheaper than Arrow videos. I also checked out Cannibal Man on Amazon Prime and it was surprisingly fully uncut! 😮it even showed the horrible Slaughterhouse scene. I sometimes don't think the BBFC properly checks all of the streaming movies.

I know you’re mad for slips 😜 and for films seen within films Mad Dog Killer is in Tarantino’s Jackie Brown when Bridget Fonda and De Niro are on the couch getting stoned. “Is that Rutger Hauser”? “no, it’s Helmut Berger” 🤯😜
