These boxes should have been standard on all Limited Edition boxes and why doesn't the big boutique shop labels do standard sizes so easier to find protective cover protection that fits every box😀

Glad the info helped my friend. The info was from great people in a facebook group, and the guide became essential enough that i passed the info to all my best friends in the hope it helped. The shrink wrap given with releases is ok, but like comic protectors will bio degrade with time compared to the rigid protectors. I'm just glad it worked for you and a hope for others to enjoy. Cool video work as usual John, and the new intro looks great. Not too keen on the techno style music, but otherwise a good intro. Knife Under the Throat is on my 88 Films Wish List, really intrigued to check out the French take on the Giallo. The trope of someone witnessing a crime and no one believing them because of varied reasons is always a good story arc to go with. There was an English subtitle friendly French release I almost got, but I love supporting 88. The only other film I've seen Brigitte Lahaie in was the Crime Drama The Female Executioner where she played a Vice Squad cop going after an illegal porno ring led by a ruthless woman, a kind of poking at her former career in the X Rated industry. She was excellent in that film, which I highly recommend checking out, and I'm sure she's great in Knife Under the Throat. I've seen a couple of interviews with her myself, and she is a very to the point, no beating around the bush, telling it like it is type, which I do find quite refreshing actually. I know she's never had negative experiences with Jean Rollin, mainly cause he was very patient with her as she navigated going into film acting, but I've never heard her actually bad mouth anyone or said they were rude or nasty. That she gives both positives and negatives to her film work shows her honesty. A company here in the States called Cult Films released Madame Claude on Blu Ray, but it kept slipping my mind to pick it up. I've seen Gwendoline by Just Jaeckin which was a really good mix of erotica, treasure hunting, and adventure story and I really want to see Emanuelle and Madame Claude. Didn't know the latter was a real woman until this video, quite interesting. Not a lot of films focused on female brothel owners, TV for whatever reason explored them more, but I am curious to see how it plays out. Hey John, great informative video. I covered all my titans of cult releases with protectors worried about those plastic cases as so easy to crack them. I got them from one of Steelbook centrals rivals “all things vinyl” as they sell protectors specifically for the titans of cult releases and a million other things. I had the majority of my steelbook protectors from all things vinyl (atv store) but have used steelbook central as well but found no differences as good as each other.

Yeah John every single Titans of cult release is the exact same size. Well they were until they decided to change them since Gladiator. But the Old format are all the same size. I am a huge fan of those protector cases. But I have to be somewhat selective because it can cause a small fortune trying to buy enough of them to cover my collection

Peeping Tom as you said destroyed Michael Powell’s career but is now considered a classic film. Prior to this Powell made some amazing films with Emeric Pressburger there well worth looking out for. I was glad to see you mention Wim Wenders, what a great director. His Paris Texas is one of my favourite films of all time.

Edge of tomorrow is a cracking movie, one of my favourite time loop movies. Top deal too bud, one I’ll be looking out for on 4k. Have you watched another time loop movie called boss level with Mel Gibson in? It’s a great watch. Top video John 👍

Some nice pick ups there John. I got Edge Of Tomorrow in a toofer 30 deal a while ago and it came with a slip. I got the US edition of Nightmare On Elm Street, s**t, I mean Nightmare Before Christmas because at the time there was no UK announcement. The slip is not only embossed and metallic looking, it also has a holofoil rainbow effect across it, looks gorgeous. Best wishes to you and The Debs, Gaz.

Great pick ups there John. Death Game and Soldier Blue are good. Check out the Hunting Party with Oliver Reed and Gene Hackman. It’s another good gritty western from the early 70’s I think (well, not that graphic or gritty compared to what we see in new releases). I think generally there’s some excellent 4k releases slated for 2025! 👍🤗🌟✊️👊

If you are going to do Doctor Who, i highly recommend, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, it's Sherlock Holmes meets Fu Manchu meets Jack the Ripper. It's Tom Baker at his best. All the best, John and Happy New Year.

Sausage Party is both brilliant and hilarious, I had no idea that this was out on 4k here in the UK and £4 from CEX with a slip was an absolute freakin' bargain. Death Game is a decent film but I absolutely hate that totally random and abrupt ending and I find that song (you know the one I mean) is super annoying. The BBFC classified former Video Nasty Cannibal Man for 88 Films yesterday, the original 100 minute version uncut with a '15' cert so expect that at some point this year (I hope on 4k as there is a 4k available in Germany) and I am sure there will be lots of other great title announcements from 88 Films and Arrow Video. Some nice pick-ups there and I bought the 101 Films release of Alligator dual format 4k/Blu-ray combo just before Christmas and will give that a watch very soon but I am trying to cut back on what I buy, both for financial and practical reasons, paying between £10 and £30 for films (that I have often seen/bought before) is just hard to justify and in terms of space 100's of the things just take up so much room. I am planning on trying to only buy films that I actually really like and the odd interesting looking blind-buy.

Hey John. Death Game is great, so is the bonus film Little Miss Innocence, it’s more of a sexploitation version of the same story. Death Game was remade by Eli Roth as Knock Knock but Death Game is the real Drive-in style gem from the 70s.
