    The quality of your videos have improved dramatically over the years. I'm glad you aren't using that phasing thing anymore for audio, whatever that was. lol

    Without question you are brilliant at what you do, but what I really like is your on camera presentation. (I am a TV news cameraman by trade) I really can relate to someone who just talks to you, like I was there. It makes me understand what your teaching without effort. Thanks man, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!!

    Adding a shadow on the ground underneath the "floater" would add to the effect, I think, and it's not too difficult to do.

    Thanks man :-). I will try that process. I have used the burn tool to darken the area below my subject, and it looks okay. Will try this though 👍

    @mctroffle for an example in a tutorial it's not bad... I never would have thought to do it that way. I would have placed the pic without the subject directly over the other one and deleted a hole in the layer to expose the person. Either way works but I think this is much cleaner.

    try gimpshop, it's like photoshop but it's free. You will need to play around a bit more with it to get the exact same results, but if you got time and no dough it's well worth it. IMO!

    Great video, keep on posting. But please reduce noise reduction. This really sounds weird.

  • @mctroffle
    @mctroffle 13 лет назад

    @Kittani1977 that would be cleaner I agree, if he had taken the time to go back and reshoot the video with his shirt/body hanging slightly over the stool, then he wouldn't have had to brush it off after and awkwardly claim it was 'just fine', as if the whole point of making the picture weren't to make it look realistic... I don't mean to pester but if you're showing peeps how to take neat pictures like this you should at least tell how to prevent things like that that make the image look fake.

    Photoshop is what he is using. Look up Adobe Photoshop. They will offer a 30 day free trial. Download that but, if you want a free one look up Gimp. Gimp is a open source alternative of photoshop. It's a really good program.

  • @mctroffle
    @mctroffle 13 лет назад

    @Kittani1977 s'all good, the method I was imagining would just have been a quick fix if he'd thought of it at the time, I just think like that 'cause I like having as little photoshop work to do to make the most realistic image possible. not being overly critical, I just really think if you're making tutorials of any kind you should be prepared enough to execute them without waving off mishaps.
